  • Silverlight and clientaccesspolicy.xml

    - by JerA
    I have a silverlight app hosted on "dev.system-engine.com" which creates an tcp connection connecting to "dev.system-engine.com" the silverlight app and the policy file are on the "dev.system-engine.com" webserver. "system-engine.com" and "dev.system-engine.com" are separate servers. I cannot seem to get it to work. I have been struggling with the policyfile. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <access-policy> <cross-domain-access> <policy> <allow-from> <domain uri="http://dev.system-engine.com:80"/> </allow-from> <grant-to> <domain uri="http://dev.system-engine.com:80"/> <socket-resource port="80" protocol="tcp"/> <resource path="/" include-subpaths="true"/> </grant-to> </policy>

  • php not showing all images

    - by jera
I a writing a gallery app in php. The images are dynamically displayed through php. On each load of the page, not all images are showing. it does this randomly, on each load. I have not had this problem before, as I am new to php. My previous apps where all in perl, and I had no dynamic image display problems when using that language. check it here: http://dev.system-engine.com/dev/exec/pcli.php?R=%27/Paintings%27&cfg=%22fgal%22 all help appreciated. thank, Jer A

  • php require class call from inside method

    - by jera
from my understanding, require pastes code into the calling php file. what if you were requiring from inside a method...it would paste the entire code/class inside the method, blocking the next statement in the method. eg. function test() { require 'pathtosomeclasscode'; somestatement; // any code after the require is blocked. } how do i get around this, to be able to require code where-ever, without it being pasted in that exact spot? Thanks in advance for your help.
