import certificate using command line in Win XP Home

I need to install/import a CA cert (.cer) into the Trusted Root Cert Authorities store of a Win XP Home using command line. Anyone has any idea which command i can use?

Multiple Video Cards - Stuttering

I have two video cards: - XFX PVT84JUDD3 GeForce 8600GT XXX 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Supported Video Card - EVGA 256-P1-N399-LX GeForce 6200 256MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Video Card both running the same set of drivers on Windows 7 64-bit. When I work with 2 monitors connected to the 8600GT card everything works smoothly. When I connect the third one to the 6200 then Windows works well and all of a suddon the screens turns black for up to 5 minutes. Then it goes back and at some random interval it goes black again. I can still see the pointer and hit CTRL+ALT+DEL and see the menu to log off, bring the task manager, etc. I've tried changing the 6200 to another PCI slot and the error persists. I've tried connecting 2 monitors only one to each card, same problem. Tried swapping them, mixed and matched the monitors to see if it was a problem with the monitor and my conclusion was that it is not the monitor. The problem also occurred with Vista 64 as well. What could be generating this problem? Can it be the fact that they are different interfaces? Maybe the Motherboard? Should I change something on the BIOS? What do you guys think?

Windows 7 stopped booting

I have a laptop which after shutdown it stopped booting. I tried repair, safe mode, and even start with Windows 7 Installation. The screen just goes blank with a mouse pointer that I can move around. I removed the harddrive from the laptop and connected it to my desktop using an External HD casing. The computer recognizes the disk, but it seems like it can't read it. If I go to My Computer it shows up, but it doesn't display usage information. When I double click on the drive it sits there as if it was loading something and eventually shows "G:\ is not accessible. The parameter is incorrect." Disk Management and Diskpart also take forever to load and when it does it shows the drive. My question, do you think this is a hardware problem or some corrupted sector? How can I try to fix the drive without formatting it? Thanks...

Check for updates periodically

I have a SL 4.0 app running out of browser with full priviliges. How can I check for updates (CheckAndDownloadUpdateAsync()) every 10 minutes without affecting UI thread. I've tried using the Timer, but the CheckAndDownloadUpdateCompleted doesn't get executed. I think it is erroring out silently. Thanks in advace...

Hello everyone, I have a silverlight app that will be installed OOB with full trust and hence i want to create a certificate to sign the app. Since I'm going to have full control of the clients where the app will be installed I don't need to buy a certificate, because I know that I can create one and install it in the Trusted Root Certification Authority. Don't Allow link generates a 500 Internal Error

I'm developing an application for Facebook using the iframe mode and ASP.NET. I'm able to use the new OAuth method that combines the allow and the extended permissions. When I click on the Allow everything works as expected, but when I click on the "Don't Allow" I get a 500 internal error. What happens to the files created by Isolated Storage when the OOB app is removed? Do they remain or are the files also deleted? From what I can deduct the files would be maintained so they can be accessed by the same app in browser. Right?

use variable within a linq query

take this linq into consideration: list.Where(sil => sil.XML.Element("ticket") != null && sil.XML.Element("ticket").Attribute("id").Value == smsRequestIn.TicketID) if the "ticket" element is not null it searches for it twice and hence is not very effective. Is there a way to use some sort of variables within the linq expression so I can reference the variable instead of doing a double search for the "ticket" element or is linq intelligent enough to not do a double search?
