  • Tomcat/Hibernate Problem "SEVERE: Error listenerStart"

    I downloaded working example of hibernate (with maven) and installed it on my tomcat, it worked. Then I created a new web project in MyEclipse, added hibernate support and moved all source files (no jar) to this new project and fixed package/paths wherever was necessary. My servlets are responding correctly but when I add "Listener" in web.xml, tomcat returns error "Error ListenerStart" on startup and my application doesn't start. I've carefully checked all packages, paths and classes, they look good.   • Why my test xml is failing with very simple XSD Schema?

    Can somebody help me find the mistake I am doing in evaluating following XPath expression? I want to get all "DataTable" nodes under the node "Model" in my xml through XPath. Problem is with xpath that returns nothing on evaluating my expression. I tried many other expressions for testing purpose but every time resulting NodeList "nl" does not have any item

  • Can we add new attribute or change type of existing attribute to a "Referenced Element"?

    In my XML schema I have an element being referenced tens of times by other elements but with different enumerated values for one of its attribute. For now, instead of creating this element in global space and referencing it later, I am creating a new instance wherever it is needed. This approach has increased my schema size enormously because of repeated creation of almost same element many times. It also may have adverse effect on efficiency of the schema. The only way that I see is to create element once and then reference it many times but my problem is: one of the attribute of this referenced element is required to have a different set of enumerations for each referencing element. My question is: Is it possible to to add an attribute to a "Referenced Element" in XML Schema?   • RegExp to validate a formula (string/boolean/numeric expression)?

    I have used regExp quit a bit of times but still far from being an expert. This time I want to validate a formula (or math expression) by regExp. The difficult part here is to validate proper starting and ending parentheses with in the formula. I believe, there would be some sample on the web but I could not find it. Can somebody post a link for such example? or help me by some other means?
