  i try to install Novell Designer 4.0.1 on Ubuntu. But i get the error message: Preparing to install... Extracting the JRE from the installer archive... Unpacking the JRE... Extracting the installation resources from the installer archive... Configuring the installer for this system's environment... Launching installer... ./install: 2468: exec: /tmp/install.dir.4347/Linux/resource/jre/bin/java: not found What could i do to get the installation working?

• Slow old notebook Hardy => Karmic

  Hi, i have one very slow notebook from year about 2000. On the computer is running icewm with firefox (in this times chromium for testing). My question is if it's good step to upgrade the system to Karmic Koala? I can't install another OS on that. It doesn't have CD-ROM, it can't boot from flash, or network. The new wanted state is little bit faster system for browsing web and copying photos to local NAS. I don't mention hardware configuration, becouse it's real speed is really deep below the paper parameters.

• Symfony - admin - FormFilter - is empty - i18n

  Hi, we are in admin generator in filters in field. What is the most clearest way to translate is empty label under form fields? I've solve it by own setWidgets and setWidgets in BaseFormFilterDoctrine witch extend the parent methods by translating that is empty( empty_label ). setWidgets - translate all *empty_label*s in form filter( for base filter class ) setWidget - translate *empty_label* for one filter field( for the extending filter class ) It works, but i think it's nasty. I am looking for something more clean
