Now some actions need administrators aurthentication through password even to set password I it asks for password but actually there is no password and so it doesn't authenticates any actions that need administrators authentication and when I try to use my old password but it also doesn't works. • How do I remove obsolete packages after upgrading to 14.04?

  While upgrading to 14.04, I got a prompt asking if I wanted to remove obsolete packages and that it would take hours to do so. So, I said "No" and decided to do it later. However, after the upgrade when I run sudo apt-get autoremove, it removes no packages at all. But when I run aptitude search '~o' I get a list of many obsolete packages. How do I remove all the obsolete packages in a proper manner?

  I just going to install the GTK for creating a desktop application. But I want to know if we install the GTK then is it affect our web application server or php.ini or other features of web based application? I know there is no requirement of server for desktop but the GTK create the other php.ini . so is it affect my other applications? I downloaded the GTK Tool kit from here. So I am just little bit confusing that it should not affect my all running web applications. • Weird Bug: "DoCmd.OutputTo acOutputQuery" is deleting the query

  I am adding OLE objects to an excel sheet through .net interop. However, after some calls, excel is not allowing adding more objects through code. Is there a limit? or am I doing something wrong. Dim Htmlshape As Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.Shape Htmlshape = xlWorkSheet.Shapes.AddOLEObject(, tmpFile, , True, strExplorerPath, 1, "") Running this code gives an error after say 1000 calls. So, am I crossing some limit here?

Any other JSR Spec Leads interested in migrating to the latest JCP version, now JCP 2.9, as of 13 November, incorporating the Merged Executive Committee (EC), see the Spec Lead Guide for instructions on migrating to the latest JCP version.  For JCP 2.8 JSRs, you are effectively already operating under JCP 2.9 since there are no longer two ECs.  This is the difference for JCP 2.8 JSRs migrating to JCP 2.9 -- a merged EC.  To make the migration official, just inform your Expert Group on a public channel and email your request to admin at jcp.org.
