• Finding which files were "FIXED"and how many times between two specific date by using Trac?

  I need to find out that how many times and which files are fixed or changed due to a bug between two specific dates in an open source project which uses Trac. I selected Webkit project for that purpose. (https://trac.webkit.org/) However, it can be any open source project. What can I do for that? How do I start? Do i have to use version control systems like svn or git for intergration? I am kinda newbie for these bug-tracking and issue-tracking systems.

  I am currently working on a senior project on software engineering and implementing a defect prediction mechanism in software projects which use version control system. Therefore, i want to ask the community about their commit message procedures. Which words in the commit messages may infer "bug fixed" meaning? So that, i can understand that the modified files in that revision was in a buggy state?

• Gridview paging and sorting do not work after changing datasource in codebehind??

  I am having a gridview with an object datasource binded in the markup(aspx page). When page loads it directly works fine with all sorting and paging properties. However, i need to filter display on gridview so i have to change the datasource of the gridview on the code behind. It works fine.. i mean the filtering and displaying is good but paging and sorting doesnt work. Did you have a problem something like this?
