• simple authorisation in web api

  I want to make nice and clean api; I'm making site and I want to offer the ability to mobile apps use web API of my site. I don't want to use oAuth, becouse the mobile and embedded applications that are facing the biggest hurdle, as they may not be able to bring up and/or control the web browser. Also its a little complicate. I know, that HTTP basic authorisation is not safe, but it's so simple... I want to use it in my api. I have somee users logins and their passwords (md5-encoded) in mysql base, but how to use those data in this HTTP basic authorisation?

• how to store a 2D game world in mysql

  I am making a 2D game in javascript/ajax, that will be using data stored in mysql database. Every user have got his own "area" made of small squares that can have some values. But I have no idea, how to store values of each square in mysql, when each user can have area with different width or height. Do you have some idea?

• Weird behavior of curl and facebook

  Here is the code: $ch = curl_init( 'https://graph.facebook.com/btaylor'); curl_setopt( $ch, CURLOPT_USERAGENT, '' ); curl_setopt( $ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER ,true); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION, 1); $data = curl_exec($ch); print_r( $data) ; curl_close($ch); It shows few informations from facebook. It works on my localhost, but when I try to run it on my server it just doesn't work, returns a blank site. I tried to use this code with others sites like example.com and It works, so I thought, that its becouse of facebook blocks my ip (i dont know why it would be true), so I checked it. I have run it with curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_PROXY, 'myproxy'); But it still doesn't show any information. I am trying to fix it all day, but its to difficult. Have you got some ideas?
