  • Silverlight Listbox firing MouseRightButtonDown, but not MouseLeftButtonDown

    - by Steav
I have this problem in a bigger Project...... so I set up a 'Testpoject' as Proof of Concept: New Silverlight-Application Add Listbox Fill listbox with a few Checkboxes Register listBox1_MouseLeftButtonDown register listBox1_MouseRightButtonDown You will see, that the listBox1_MouseLeftButtonDown won't fire under any circumstances.... listBox1_MouseRightButtonDown however fires just fine. I tried using a custom Class deriving from ListBox and overriding, assuming something in the ListBox Class was setting e.Handled = false, but this did not change the behaviour, either. Any Ideas on why this happens and how to fix? (This problem also stops the 'parent'-control from receiving the Click-Event... so the Event-passing is broke)

  • Is there a way to programatically popup the "Microsoft Silverlight Configuration" dialog?

    - by Jim McCurdy
I am building for Silverlight 4, and I handle MouseRightButtonDown events and build my own ContextMenu's (a class from the Silverlight Toolkit). I would like to add the classic "Silverlight" menu item to my menus, and give the user the familiar option of launching the "Microsoft Silverlight Configuration" dialog. This is the dialog lets users manage Updates, Webcams, Permissions, and Application Storage. So I need a way to programatically launch the dialog when the menu item is clicked. I can be done for Flash, and it would seem that Microsoft would want to encourage developers to support that option. Can it be done?

  • C#: Drag & Drop with right mouse button

    - by stefan.at.wpf
Hello, I'd like to do Drag & Drop with the right mouse button instead with the left one. However calling DragDrop.DoDragDrop() from MouseRightButtonDown instead of MouseLeftButtonDown doesn't do the job - DragDrop.DoDragDrop looks for mouse movements while holding down the left mouse button. Any idea how to realise Drag & Drop using the right mouse button? Thanks for any hint!

    I have a nice little popup, when it shows, I d'like it to growth from 0 to 1x scaley, but I don't get it right, when I click multiple times, it looks like i "catch" the animation at various states during the "growth". <Window.Triggers> <EventTrigger RoutedEvent="FrameworkElement.MouseRightButtonDown" > <EventTrigger.Actions> <BeginStoryboard> <Storyboard> <DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames BeginTime="00:00:00" Storyboard.TargetName="SimplePopup" Storyboard.TargetProperty="(FrameworkElement.LayoutTransform).(TransformGroup.Children)[0].(ScaleTransform.ScaleY)"> <SplineDoubleKeyFrame KeyTime="00:00:00" Value="0"/> <SplineDoubleKeyFrame KeyTime="00:00:00.3000000" Value="1"/> </DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames> </Storyboard> </BeginStoryboard> </EventTrigger.Actions> </EventTrigger> </Window.Triggers> and the popup: <Popup Name="SimplePopup" AllowsTransparency="True" StaysOpen="False"> <Popup.LayoutTransform> <TransformGroup> <ScaleTransform ScaleX="1" ScaleY="1" /> <SkewTransform AngleX="0" AngleY="0" /> <RotateTransform Angle="0" /> <TranslateTransform X="0" Y="0" /> </TransformGroup> </Popup.LayoutTransform> <Border> some Content here </Border> </Popup>
