• NoClassDefFound error - Spring JDBC

  Right now, I'm compiling my .class files in eclipse and moving them over to my %tomcat_home%\webapps\myapp\WEB-INF\classes directory. They compile just fine. I also have in the ...\classes directory a org.springframework.jdbc-3.0.2.RELEASE.jar which I have verified has the org.springframework.jdbc.datasource.DriverManagerDataSource class inside it. However, I get a NoClassDefFound error when I run my class and it tries to DriverManagerDataSource source = new DriverManagerDataSource(); I don't understand why it wouldn't be finding that jar. Any help is appreciated!

• XStream noclassdeffound error

  I am attempting to run Xstream in a netbeans proof of concept project. I have the following code. XStream xstream = new XStream(); FileOutputStream fis = new FileOutputStream("Test.xml"); xstream.toXML(company, fis); The program is crashing on the first line of code with the following error. • Seam EJB3 in an EAR is it usable by another App?

  Seam 2.1 and JBoss 4.2.2 I have set up the first App to have the EJB in the EAR with a local interface. the 2nd app can look up JDNI name "ear-name/ejbname/local" but fails with "NoClassDefFound". Does the EJB .jar need to be outside of the EAR? Is this a classloader visibility issue or Is this a JBoss version issue? or something else? Thank you for your thoughts..

• How to use PDFBox 1.0 in .net / C# environment using IKVM

  Id like to use PDFBox to generate PDF highlight files in my .net project. PDFBox states that it can be used in .net via IKVM http://www.pdfbox.org/userguide/dot_net.html BUT running ikvmc (latest version) to generate the DLLs on PDFBOX.1.0.0.jar generates a whole lot of NoClassDefFound warnings. How should I fix this, and what other DLLs do I need to include in my project? It seems as though file names have changed from the older documentation/articles I have read on the matter. thanks in advance.

• How to set classpath in manifest file , while creating JAR from eclipse?

  I am trying to creat JAR file through eclipse. I read some of the threads from stackoverflow as well as other forums. But nothing is helping. I have created a separate manifest file like this one. `Manifest-Version: 1.0 Main-Class: Main Class-Path: gnujaxp.jar iText-2.1.5.jar jcalendar.jar jcommon-1.0.16.jar jfreechart-1.0.13.jar jfreechart-1.0.13-experimental.jar jfreechart-1.0.13-swt.jar junit.jar servlet.jar swtgraphics2d.jar tinyos.jar ` I have put all this jars in same project folder. While exporting i am exporting all resources (meants this jar files also.) But still i am getting noclassdeffound error when my application tries to load any one of the jar included. • Classes missing if application runs for a long time

  I have a funny problem - if my application runs for a long time ( 20h), then sometimes I get NoClassDefFound error - seems like JVM decided that the class is not going to be used anyway and GCd it. To be a bit more specific, here's an example case: object ErrorHandler extends PartialFunction[Throwable,Unit] { def isDefinedAt(t: Throwable) = true def apply(e: Throwable) =e match { // ... handle errors } } // somewhere else in the code... try { // ... long running code, can take more than 20 hours to complete } catch (ErrorHandler) And I get the following exception: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/rogach/avalanche/ErrorHandler$ If that try/catch block runs for smaller amounts of time, everything works as expected. If anyone is interested, here is the codebase in question: Avalanche I need to note that I saw this and similar problems only on Cent OS 5 machines, using JRE 6u26 and Scala 2.9.1 / 2.9.2. What could be the cause of this problem?

• java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError in command line

  Hi, I'm developing an application in Eclipse and it runs fine from within Eclipse. The problem I'm having is that when I export it to a jar file and run it from the command line I get a NoClassDefFound error for javax.mail.internet. In both my project build path and class path I have included the activation.jar and mail.jar libraries required for me to use javax.mail.internet, and like I said it works fine from within Eclipse but not when I export it to a jar. If my build path has those files and so does my class path why would this not be working? • JSF works only with the .xhtml ending

  Hello, i start with the programming of a JSF Website. At the moment all files have the .xhtml ending. When i go to http://localhost:8080/myProject/start.jsf everything is all right. But when i rename the file from start.xhtml to start.jsf i became a NoClassDefFound Error.
