    I'm considering building a Church Management System (ChMS), essentially a CRM, but specifically tailored for churches. I've looked at several existing CRM and open source ChMS solutions but have not been satisfied with any of them. Before I start writing something from the ground up - I was wondering if anyone was aware of an open source asp.net application that might be a good fit for this project? Particularly, the application needs to perform CRUD and optimally allow for dynamic user-based creation/editing of fields associated with contacts etc.

  • Adding Google Map to Contact Info Page in Drupal

    I'm trying to display a Google Map inside a drupal page. The map will only have the business location marker on it, with no need for a user to submitted their own markers. So far I've loaded the Gmap, Location, and CCK modules. I've attempted to enable a location field for Page content types, which allows me to input an address, but this doesn't display the actual map. I'm sure I'm missing something simple here. Any help?

    I am looking to extract specific items out of a large pool of unstructured documents. These documents could be 1-5 pages of text formatted in various ways by the user, but in most cases would contain at least: Name Address (physical) Email Address Phone number website URL I'm looking for a semantic parser that can attempt to extract these elements from the documents so that I can load that information into a relational database and work with these records as contacts. Other services I've looked for, while valuable for other purposes, do not address this specific need. Alchemy API Open Calais Saplo Any thoughts, suggestions or leads?

  • Sending email from Drupal contact form, but GMail marks it as "Forged"

    Hi, My Drupal site sends email to a GMail account, but the emails sent all go into the Spam folder, and GMail puts up a bar with the message "This message was likely forged and did not originate from your account." Although I can create a filter to prevent them going to Spam, I want to start sending newsletters, and I suspect they'll have the same problem. I suspect the problem is with the way I've set up either PHP or Drupal to send mail. As far as I know it's just using the sendmail function. I've set the from address to "info@..." where ... is the site domain. Any tips on how I can make set up my outgoing mail so it won't be refused by GMail (and presumably other major mail providers)?     Hello, To short version of this question is that I want to accomplish something along the lines of what's visible on Flickr's homepage once you're logged in. It shows the three latest photos of each of your friends sorted by date but grouped by friend. Here's a longer explanation: For example I have 3 friends: John, George and Andrea. The list I want to extract should look like this: George Photo - 2010-05-18 Photo - 2010-05-18 Photo - 2010-05-12 John Photo - 2010-05-17 Photo - 2010-05-14 Photo - 2010-05-12 Andrea Photo - 2010-05-15 Photo - 2010-05-15 Photo - 2010-05-15 Friend with most recent photo uploaded is on top but his or her 2 next files follow. I'd like to do this from MySQL, and for the time being I got here: SELECT photos.user_id, photos.id, photos.date_uploaded FROM photos WHERE photos.user_id IN (SELECT user2_id FROM user_relations WHERE user1_id = 8) ORDER BY date_uploaded DESC Where user1_id = 8 is the currently logged in user and user2_id are the ids of friends. This query indeed returns the latest files uploaded by the contacts of the user with id = 8 sorted by date. However I'd like to accomplish the grouping and limiting mentioned above.     I want to add a Custom field to the ContactsContract content provider. I'm trying to build a Voip application and would like to add a SIP address(name@domain) field to it. What MIME type will I need to associate with it? Also I want to add a group address field which will have a list of group addresses in it (name@domain, name@domain,...). Wich MIME type will I have to associate with this type of field. I also want to add custom fields to the Call History like a session ID and SIP address(name@domain) field. How can I customize the call history? It'll be great if someone can give me an example.

The person there told me the only way they sell FAST ESP is as a bundled product with SharePoint. I reached out to Amazon Customer care and they resolved the issue by resending the missing item. Amazon’s customer care is awesome! They just asked me few questions regarding the order, person who accepted the delivery and without any further delay they provided details on when I’ll get the replacement item.     i got a little problem with a wordpress site that uses contact form 7 and android browser (at least android v1.5). when a user submits the cf7 form (using ajax followed by a js redirect) and tries to return to the forms page later (using the back button as well as opening the form's url) the download prompt for a 'downloadfile.bin' appears. this behavior can not be reproduced on any other mobile or desktop browsers. could anyone shed some light on this issue? thank you in advance!

    Hello, in my website, I want to add a "invite friend of my contacts book" functionnality. I would like that the user fills the loggin form in my website. Then the website contacts Google Mail, Yahoo Mail, Live Mail and retrieves the contact list. In the Oauth protocole supported by Google and Yahoo, the user is redirected to a Google or Yahoo page (like Facebook) in order to permit the user to give permissions. But I saw two websites which didn't any redirections to get the contacts book (LinkedIn for a Google mail account and Theauteurs with a live mail.) Do you know how I can get a contacts book without redirect the user to Google, Microsoft or Yahoo website.

  • Emails, a different 'reply to' address then sender address.

    I have a contact form on a website (a general form: name, email, subject, message) in which mails are sent using google apps smtp to the admins. Currently if an administrator wants to reply to the mail directly selecting the reply option, the person's reply's To field will be filled by the sender's address automatically. What I wan't to ask is, Is there any standardized way to pass on some additional info with the mail which would define any reply to the mail should go to this address instead of the sender's? It does seems that there is a little chance for this option as it may lead to some problems due to spammers (They may define a custom reply field in their mail and a general user might not look where they are replying). So as an alternative what I thought is to find a way to create a filter with sender's account which figures out the reply email address from the format and forwards the mail (Doesn't seems like a good solution and I have no idea how to achieve this). I have tagged django, though this is not directly related with this, as I will finally implement this through django.

  • Moving distribution lists in Public Folders to Sharepoint Contacts?

    Now I know that if I connect to contact list in Sharepoint and drag and drop everything from the Exchange Public Folder contact list to the Sharepoint Contact list (connected through Outlook) it will transfer everything in the contact list to the sharepoint contact list. What about distribution lists? Has anyone had a workaround for this? If a contact list is full of distribution lists the Contacts won't migrate over and the Sync Issues - Local Failures folder is populated with all the distribution lists that couldn't be migrated. Is there a way to migrate distribution lists? Any ideas how to set up the contact list like a contact list of distrubition lists? How would that contact list look on sharepoint? Should I just leave the contact lists that have distribution lists on public folders?
