  • Determine caller within stored proc or trigger

    I am working with an insert trigger within a Sybase database. I know I can access the @@nestlevel to determine whether I am being called directly or as a result of another trigger or procedure. Is there any way to determine, when the nesting level is deeper than 1, who performed the action causing the trigger to fire? For example, was the table inserted to directly, was it inserted into by another trigger and if so, which one.

  • changing text periodically in a span from an array with jquery

    I have a span, eg: <p>Here is a sentence <span id="rotate">this</span> is what changes</p> and I'd like the contents of that span to change every few moments between a list of terms, so the contents might change to be: <span id="rotate">then</span> <span id="rotate">thus</span> and so on. I'd like the text to fade out and then the new text fade in. Whats the best way to do this via jquery?

  • HTML5 offline cache google font api

    I'm trying to create an offline HTML5 test application, and am playing with the new google fonts api at the same time. Does anyone have any ideas how to cache the remote fonts? Simply putting the api call in the cache manifest doesn't work, I assume this is because the api actually loads other files (ttf, eot, etc). Any ideas if using the font api offline would be possible? Before I used: $unsplitItems = $row['files']; $files = explode("@", $unsplitItems); foreach ($files as $file) { if(strlen($file)) { echo "<li>$file</li>"; } } Any idea how I can split my records and display all the items in the array as individual entries?

    Is there a way to pass a wrap and unwrap a TObject descendent in an OleVariant? I am trying to pass a TObject across automation objects. I know it's not a good idea but I don't have a good alternative. Something like this: function GetMyObjAsVariant; var MyObj: TMyObj; begin MyObj := TMyObj.Create; result := OleVariant(MyObj); end; Which would be used by a client as var MyObj: TMyObj; begin MyObj := GetMyObjAsVariant as TMyObj; end; This fails to compile, returning E2015 Operator not applicable to this operand type.

  • Hide Segemented Control on NavBar, then add Title

    Basically I have a Segmented Controller on my NavBar right in the middle. What I want to be able to do is hide the Segmented Controller and add a title to the navigation bar. But with my code, the segmented controller is being hidden, but the title will not add, thus leaving a blank NavBar. This is my simple code in .h: IBOutlet UISegmentedControl *toggleDay; IBOutlet UINavigationBar *navBar; And this is my code in my .m: toggleDay.hidden = YES; navBar.topItem.title = @"Title"; Any help would be great thanks!

  • After reinstallation, Disk Cleanup disappears when I click OK.

    After I reinstalled Windows 7, Disk Cleanup stopped working. I can start Disk Cleanup and select the drive to clean, but when I click on the OK button, the window disappears. Any solutions? But a new process - WerFault.exe appeared under svchost.exe a few seconds after i clicked the "OK" button. It disappeared, too, from the process list after some time (i think it disappeared along with cleanmgr.exe).

    I just installed Visual Studio 2010 yesterday. As part of that I installed VSTO 4.0. Now when I run any Office application, my VSTO 3.0 addins fail to load. The error in the event log is Customization URI: file:///H:/PathToMyAddin/MyAddin.vsto Exception: Customization does not have the permissions required to create an application domain. ***** Exception Text ******* Microsoft.VisualStudio.Tools.Applications.Runtime.CannotCreateCustomizationDomainException: Customization does not have the permissions required to create an application domain. --- System.Security.SecurityException: Customized functionality in this application will not work because the administrator has listed file:///H:/PathToMyAddin/MyAddin.vsto as untrusted. Contact your administrator for further assistance. at Microsoft.VisualStudio.Tools.Office.Runtime.RuntimeUtilities.VerifySolutionUri(Uri uri) at Microsoft.VisualStudio.Tools.Office.Runtime.DomainCreator.CreateCustomizationDomainInternal(String solutionLocation, String manifestName, String documentName, Boolean showUIDuringDeployment, IntPtr hostServiceProvider, IntPtr& executor) The Zone of the assembly that failed was: MyComputer It seems like like maybe this is due to it trying to load different version of .NET is the same process/AppDomain. However the error would indicate it's some sort of permissions issue.

  • How does one close a Popup in Silverlight 3 by pressing the Escape key?

    I've just implemented a context menu control in Silverlight 3. One feature lacking in this control is for the Esc key to dismiss the menu. I've tried adding a KeyUp event handler in a few places, but the handler is never called. It looks like KeyUp is only available for items that can have focus. The popup menu cannot have focus, however, as it is only an ItemsControl. Have any of you successfully implemented having the Esc key close a Popup, or do you have any other suggestions on how I can implement this behavior?

  • Understanding RTF and edit it with vb.net

    I have this RichTextbox in my vb.net form and I would like to when a user click a button, for example to embold the selected text, how would I do this. Also, I do NOT want to use the standard vb.net expressions such as RichTextBox1.SelectedText.Font.Bold = true. I want to do something like RichTextbox1.SelectedRTF="[bold]" & RichTextBox1.SelectedRTF & "[/bold]" or whatever RTF looks like. Can I just add the RTF options random places or can a RichTextBox return an error if the text is in wrong format. I'm mostly looking for info on how to work with RTF without using the standard vb expressions. Thank you very much for any help provided

  • Cognos 8.3 - date prompt macro problem

    In Report Studio 8.3, I've got this raw SQL query running against a MySQL 5.1 data source: SELECT enc.encounterID, enc.date FROM enc WHERE enc.date between #prompt('textPromptStartDate')# AND #prompt('textPromptEndDate', 'date')# This produces text prompts for the user. If the user enters dates into these prompts in the format of 'YYYY-MM-DD', e.g. '2010-01-15', the query works fine. But I want to replace the text prompts with proper Date prompts. When I try replacing the above prompts with #prompt('datePromptStartDate', 'date') AND #prompt('datePromptEndDate', 'date')# the query runs (no errors are generated), but I get an empty result set. I have a feeling I need to adjust the date format that the date prompt macro returns, but I'm stuck after many hours of experimentation as to how to debug this.

    I'm receiving this error message: Cannot open database \"Northwind\" requested by the login. The login failed.\r\nLogin failed for user 'Mike\Mike Simpson' When i try to add the user, which is me. Then sql server says Msg 15063, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 The login already has an account under a different user name. HEre is my connection string: "Data Source=Localhost;Initial Catalog=Northwind;Integrated Security=True" I'm using SSMS not SQL Server express I don't know what else I should do. This application used to work before i zipped it up. Thanks!

My question is why does the AJAX form work for an Html.TextBox, but not for an Html.DropDownList, or what am I doing wrong? My only idea is that maybe the argument in the controller is not supposed to be of type string when using a DropDownList, but this is really just a guess. Thanks in advance.

    I recently started working for a web firm as a freelancer taking my hobby of coding in PHP to a career level, and since then I have been overwhelmed by the amount of work that needs to be done within short time frames. The problem isn't being able to do what is asked, but being able to do it all as quickly as is needed of me. I never used any PHP frameworks, but if I started using one, would that speed up the entire development process? If so, how drastically? Also which framework would be best for my purpose? If it matters, what I do is mostly build back end cms's and tie that with front end functionality for small business client sites.

  • Android: Saving custom button and spinner on orientation change

    Hello All, I am new to Android programming and was handed a fairly large program that is almost complete, but needed support for switching between portrait and landscape view. I added android:configChanges="keyboardHidden|orientation" to the manifest and used onConfigurationChanged to save the view data and that works. However, there is a button that displays the date selected (when pressed a calendar to select the date comes up) and a spinner that displays the current view and is used to select a new view. Those two items are being cleared/reset and do not work at all after the screen flip. I have been attempting to use onSaveInstanceState and onRestoreInstanceState to fix that, but I cannot figure out how to get it to work. Any advice?     I know the bits just came out today, but one of the first things I want to do with the newly released Windows Mobile 7 SDK is put a map up on the screen and mess around. I've downloaded the latest version of the Silverlight Maps Control and added the references to my application. As a matter of fact, the VS 2010 design view of the MainPage.xaml shows the map control after adding the namespace and placing the control. I'm using the provided VS 2010 Express version that comes with the Win Mobile 7 SDK and have just used the New Project - Windows Phone Application template. When I try to build I get two warnings related to the Microsoft.Maps.MapControl dll's. Warning 1 The primary reference "Microsoft.Maps.MapControl, Version=1.0.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=498d0d22d7936b73, processorArchitecture=MSIL" could not be resolved because it has an indirect dependency on the framework assembly "System.Windows.Browser, Version=2.0.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7cec85d7bea7798e" which could not be resolved in the currently targeted framework. "Silverlight,Version=v4.0,Profile=WindowsPhone".
