    Im trying to make my joomla powered site w3c compliant. I am stuck with ampersand encoding, I want to encode the '&' to '& amp;'(no space) under the menu, as required. However the menu link can not be directly edited (read-only), I was wondering how I can change this to be encoded? Thanks

    I'm having problems with a Joomla install (problem exists in both 1.5.13 and 1.5.15) that won't order articles in a category or section blog layout. I've tried setting the sort order on the layout manually to all the different sort options but it has no effect. Ordering on the front page works fine. Any ideas?

    when i run joomla in localhost, it works fine... But when i run it in the root server it output the bellow result:: 404 Not Found The server can not find the requested page: http://173.236.31.34/~interair/interaircon/www.interaircon.com/index.html (port 80) But if i give the link with index.php then output correctly:: Say - http://173.236.31.34/~interair/interaircon/index.php i want a solution about this problem. It's new kind of problem for me.

    I have an application that is mainly a bunch of PHP files included in a Joomla! application by Jumi. I want to make the site look nicer, but I'd rather not reinvent the wheel. There is a RocketTheme template installed on the site, and I'd like to be able to leverage it or some of the other CSS used alongside it. Specifically, I want to decorate tables. Should I search for and include CSS classes directly into my tags by searching through the template's classes, or is there a framework I could use that automatically adds the right classes based on the current theme?

    Hi, I am using joomla Artio SEF for my website. I am using a form for new customer. So it uses index.php?form=newcustomer&Itemid=1 url as "joomla15/new-customer" as sef url. Now I need to add error message like index.php?form=newcustomer&Itemid=1&msg=".$msg after submitting this form. In this case it is not displaying as sef and showing "index.php?form=newcustomer&Itemid=1&msg=New Customer Received". I cld not use custom redirect also,becoz msg are dynamically generated.     I am trying to have people be able to open HTML widgets by clicking on a button in my Joomla page. All the widgets are different sizes. The code is entered as HTML in Jumi. Currently I have the action set to: "On click open in new window without browser navigation." The problem is this this always opens in a full screen size with the widget showing up in a corner. How do I control the size of this new window for each widget? Thanks

Please help. -Vivek
