  i'm having some troubles compiling my work, i'm using ubuntu with g++! i get a lot of these messages: undefined reference to `boost::filesystem3::directory_entry::m_get_status(boost::system::error_code*) const' undefined reference to `boost::filesystem3::path::extension() const' undefined reference to `boost::filesystem3::path::filename() const' undefined reference to `boost::filesystem3::path::filename() const' (etc...) I've searched and found maaany answers but none of those work for me.   I use a dbml for my Data Access Layer to provide the data that i need in my app. When i connect from the server explorer everything seems fine. I choose to use my windows authentication and the connection test shows everything works just fine. When i Build my solution and run it on my IIS it says that i'm using a login that is not working. How to solve this issue?

• Failed to execute stored procedure from the JDBC code using mysql connection

  Hi, I have one database. I executed a stored procedure on it. I wrote some JDBC code to connect to this database. When I am calling this stored procedure from my JDBC code it is throwing SQLException. One interesting thing I found is that I have one user other than root user. This user has all the privileges to this database where the stored procedure is present. When I use the root user I am able to call the stored procedure successfully. But with the other user I am getting SQLexception. I am not able to find why it happens like this. For sure I want this user(other than root) has to call this stored procedure successfully. • jQuery remove SELECT options based on another SELECT selected on change and on load

  I'm using the following jQuery code to remove options from a select and it is working well. But instead of it only executing when the theOption2 select is changed I would also like it to work when the page is loaded depending on the selected item that is selected. I tried using the a copy of the script and changing the .change to .load and also tried using (window).load without the desired results. Essentially, I need the script to execute on change of the Options1 and on the loading of the page. • Context problem while loading Assemblies via Structuremap

  I want to load plugins in a smiliar way as shown here however the loaded assemblies seem not to share the same context. Trying to solve the problem I just build a tiny spike containing two assemblies. One console app and one library. The console app contains the IPlugin interface and has no references to the Plugin dll. I am scanning the plugin dir using a custom Registration convention: ObjectFactory.Initialize(x => x.Scan(s => { s.AssembliesFromPath(@"..\Plugin"); s.With(new PluginScanner()); })); public void Process(Type type, Registry registry) { if (!type.Name.StartsWith("P")) return; var instance = ObjectFactory.GetInstance(type); registry.For<IPlugin>().Add((IPlugin)instance); } Which thows an invalid cast exception saying he can not convert the plugin Type to IPlugin. public class P1 : IPlugin { public void Start() { Console.WriteLine("Hello from P1"); } } Further if I just construct the instance (which works fine by the way) and try to access ObjectFactory in the plugin ObjectFactory.WhatDoIHave() shows that they don't even share the same container instance. Experimenting around with MEF, Structuremap and loading the assembly manually whith Assembly.Load("Plugin") shows if loaded with Assembly.Load it works fine. Any ideas how I can fix this to work with StructureMaps assembly scanning?

• Loading Javascript through an AJAX load through jQuery??

  I have an javascript that I place into a page using the code below. What the code does is place an object/embed code into a webpage. Simple javascript loader to a NicoVideo movie <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ext.nicovideo.jp/thumb_watch/sm13154955?w=640&h=395"></script> This works great in a webpage. But what if I want to load this javascript into a page using AJAX? This no longer works for the obvious reasons, you would need to eval the script in order to get it to run. However, I have no idea how to do this. I am using jQuery on my page; so keep that in mind. • EGL initialized failed

  Hello Everybody, I used a SurfaceView and EGL to render my 3D contents. When I press BACK and return my activity, the activity's 3D objects become to white. The reason is when the original activity(3D activity) resume, EGL would initialize again. So EGL would initialize and destroy everytime when different activities switch. I am not sure if the problem is EGL initialize twice... but I did initialize and destroy EGL correctly. Anybody have this problem ? Have any solutions about this ?? Thank you so much

  I'm writing a notification center widget, and it had to use location information. In normal apps I use CoreLocation and it works fine. But in my widget, I tried to locationServicesEnabled but it didn't go to the callback functions, and the authorizationStatus is always kCLAuthorizationStatusNotDetermined, and the authorize setting didn't show up in Setting - location service. I already set the delegate to the class. The system's Yahoo weather widget can auto locating and it uses CoreLocation too, so the widget do have ability to use location service. Why CoreLocation doesn't work on my widget?

In my chained select box, it will default to the first option within the select box on page load, could anyone provide assitance? I stumbled upon this thread, but I can't seem to translate what they are doing with that answer to my language of CF. • How to retrieve content via .load() or $.get() with this line

  hello :) I posted a question a day or two ago about how to retrieve php via ajax method in this modal I was using. I kinda found out the right way to go about it, but there's still something I'm not doing right (obviously lol) Here's the section thats giving me the issues: jQuery('div that holds content').fadeIn(200).css({ 'width': Number( popWidth ) }); $('').load('/something/somewhere/this #content'); So, im using safari, and a local server (mamp), when I check activity in my browser, it shows that it is loading the content with every click, AND the pop up pops up, but no content. When I simply retrieve content via hidden div, ofcourse, i get it. This is what I'm trying to avoid. right now I have that div in my footer stashed as hidden. I read that .load() has the ability to grab specific content from a request, but im not sure the major difference between that and $.get() I've tried both, and I get the same results.   This error just started happening this morning in one particular project. When I try to publish the site it gives me this error and I can't complete the publish! Sometimes restarting Visual Studio magically fixes the problem, but it will just appear again later. Not only that, when I restart VS I lose all my "undo capabilities". There is a KB article on the subject, but it did not help. What can I do to stop this very annoying problem once and for all?

• Server RAID 5 failed...all I have left is my compiled website

  Yesterday, 2 of the 3 drives in my dev server's RAID 5 decided to die on me (with no warning). I've come to grips with the fact that my data is most likely lost unless I shell out some major bucks for professional data-resortoration. People, don't be an idiot like me and treat your RAID as a data backup! Luckily I published the site about 4 hours before my files went bye-bye. Is there any way to run some [magical] program to restore my compiled site to their original files? Also: I develop on one machine with the files stored on the server...is there some visual studio 2010 web cache on my local machine (the one that didn't crash) that I may be able to use?

• Minimizing server load in case of many XMLHttpRequest calls

  I am making a website where users are to like some articles. Whenever the like button is clicked I am sending a XMLHttpRequest to the server to run a file called like_clicked.php along with the get data of article id and user id. This file takes article id and user id and updates the sql database and also adds a node in an xml file related to the user. This is the first time I am doing something for mass usage. I am worried about the server load when too many users call the like_clicked.php file. Please help me, if this method is ok. I am also thinking of an alternative in case the above method fails. I am thinking of making many like_clicked files (namely like_clicked1.php, like_clicked2.php ... ) to minimize load on a single i-node. Is there a method to detect that it is better to call the next like_clicked file. Here we would need to detect how many calls per unit time are coming for the particular file. How do we handle this? • Constantly getting ...DeviceMonitor] Failed to start monitoring

  I find that after running or debugging my application a few times using eclipse, that I get the above output in my console (in red) and I get no feedback from Dalvik as to the connection status to my phone is going. My application will still debug etc. I just get nothing useful in my Console. Any ideas how to fix this? It appears intermittent. It starts doing it after a few minutes, continues to do it for quite a while and occasionally goes away again. This has happened on my last laptop and now on my new laptop with a completely fresh install etc.

  I have a client server situation in which I receive data using read(socket, char_buf, BUF_SIZE) and then try to write it into a log file using write(filefd, char_buf, strlen(char_buf)) Strangely enough this fails (write returns -1), and yet the errno is set to 0, and I can print the message, AND the log file descriptor works (I write to it before and after this command). What's going on?? (Working on Linux kernel 2.4 (homework))

  I use the DAO method Execute to delete some records. If this fails this is clear by checking RecordsAffected (it will be 0). But is it possible to get the error message (for instance, to log or to show to the user)? I've try to delete the records by hand in the Table grid I get a clear dialog message, e.g. "The record cannot be deleted or changed because tabel x includes related records".

  Hi, I am relatively new to jquery and would like to know why the below code wouldn't work. I am trying to access the content from a file residing on my site and not outside. Is it because I have the jquery lib loading from google and not my site? The error message that I get in IE browser is "Access Denied".
