I need to specify some styling on that element, but that colon looks like the beginning of a pseudo-element to the browser so it gets marked invalid and ignored.     Hi there, I'm looking for a fast SSL socket client basically talks SSL with remote service and I need features like connection pooling/limiting so that my other client calling this ssl socket can basically issue as many as requests and it will handle it peacefully. I looked into openssl s_client, but it says it's only for testing purpose, is there a handy tool avaiable? STunnel seems to be okay, but don't have that connection limiting option I need. Cheers.

  • Linux, some packets are not being NAT

    Hi, I'm trying to NAT HTTP traffic, I'm new to this and facing some issues. What i'm trying to do is NAT client HTTP requests to a webserver. CLIENT - NAT BOX - WEBSERVER When the client open the IP of the NAT BOX, the request should be pass to the web server. But I'm getting "HTTP request sent, awaiting response..." and then wait serveral minutes before the request is done. Looking at the tcpdump output, it looks like the first Syn packet on (10:48:54) is being NAT but not the second, third, fourth... ACK or PSH packets, and wait until (10:52:04) it starts NAT again on the ACK packet. The iptables command I'm using is: iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p tcp -i eth0 --dport 80 \ -j DNAT --to-destination WEBSERVER I'm wondering what could have caused this behavior?     I have a form in which validation error message needs to be displayed below the input elements. The error needs to be highlighted by showing an error bubble around the error message and the input text. To achieve this, I need to check for the existence of h:messages for individual elements. I am able to check for the existence of global error messages as follows <h:panelGroup rendered="#{not empty facesContext.messages}"> </h:panelGroup> How I can check the same for specific client id (say first name). So something like faceContent.messages("creditCardNo") A solution I have currently is to create a custom resolver but was wondering if there is a better solution.

    I am using the WebAPI with .NET 4.5. I have a enum called DareStatus which is a list of statuses and their corresponding integer ID's. To minimize bandwidth traffic I want to send the int values of the enums, not the full text as it is currently doing. (I have control over the client so I can map it on the clientside).   • Ubuntu 11.10 firewall/gateway - no client internet access

    I have read many other posts but cannot figure this out. eth0 is my external connected to a Comcast modem. The server has internet access with no issues. eth1 is internal and running DHCP for the clients. I have DHCP working just fine, all my clients can get an IP and ping the server but they cannot access the internet.     I need to know which of these two JavaScript frameworks is better for client-side dynamic content modification for known DOM elements (by id), in terms of performance, memory usage, etc.: Prototype's $('id').update(content) jQuery's jQuery('#id').html(content) BTW, both libraries coexist with no conflict in my app, because I'm using RichFaces for JSF development, that's why I can use "jQuery" instead of "$". I have at least 20 updatable areas in my page, and for each one I prepare content (tables, option lists, etc.), based on some user-defined client-side criteria filtering or some AJAX event, etc., like this: var html = []; int idx = 0; ... html[idx++] = '<tr><td class="cell"><span class="link" title="View" onclick="myFunction('; html[idx++] = param; html[idx++] = ')"></span>'; html[idx++] = someText; html[idx++] = '</td></tr>'; ... So here comes the question, which is better to use: // Prototype's $('myId').update(html.join('')); // or jQuery's jQuery('#myId').html(html.join('')); Other needed functions are hide() and show(), which are present in both frameworks. Which is better? Also I'm needing to enable/disable form controls, and to read/set their values. Note that I know my updatable area's id (I don't need CSS selectors at this point). And I must tell that I'm saving these queried objects in some data structure for later use, so they are requested just once when the page is rendered, like this: MyData = {div1:jQuery('#id1'), div2:$('id2'), ...}; ... div1.update('content 1'); div2.html('content 2'); So, which is the best practice?

  • Windows XP SP3 client over NAT to a Windows 2008 R2 SP1 file server disconnection

    we just transferred a pilot group from our old(!!) Netware infrastructure to an Microsoft infrastructure. Since then, our users got problems accessing their files. They all experience disconnection from the mapped drives. The file server is access via a WAN connection by a firewall (Sonicwall) between both network and we do NAT. All clients have Windows XP SP3 and the file server is an Windows 2008 R2 SP1. On the file server I got many Event Id 2012. Many post over the Internet suggested a problem between the SMB protocol and NAT. We need a short term fix to continue to transfer users from Netware to Microsoft after what will work to remove the NATing. I found this MS KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2444558 that suggested a kind of workaround for Windows 7 clients but I can found anything for Windows XP. Anyone can help me with this ? We don't want to stop the project and do a network job before migrating. Regards. Update: Our few Windows 7 computers doesn't seem to have this issue.
