  I have 4 divs with content like below: <div class="prodNav-Info-Panel">content</div> <div class="prodNav-Usage-Panel">content</div> <div class="prodNav-Guarantee-Panel">content</div> <div class="prodNav-FAQ-Panel">content</div> And a navigation list like this: <div id="nav"> <ul id="navigation"> <li><a class="prodNav-Info" ></a></li> <li><a class="prodNav-Usage" ></a></li> <li><a class="prodNav-Guarantee"></a></li> <li><a class="prodNav-FAQ" ></a></li> </ul> </div> When the page is first displayed I show all the content by executing this: $('div.prodNav-Usage-Panel').fadeIn('slow'); $('div.prodNav-Guarantee-Panel').fadeIn('slow'); $('div.prodNav-FAQ-Panel').fadeIn('slow'); $('div.prodNav-Info-Panel').fadeIn('slow'); Now, when you click the navigation list item it reveals the clicked content and hides the others, like this: $('.prodNav-Info').click( function() { $('div.prodNav-Info-Panel').fadeIn('slow'); $('div.prodNav-Usage-Panel').fadeOut('slow'); $('div.prodNav-Guarantee-Panel').fadeOut('slow'); $('div.prodNav-FAQ-Panel').fadeOut('slow'); }); So what I have is 4 separate functions because I do not know which content is currently displayed. I know this is inefficient and can be done with a couple of lines of code. It seems like there is a way of saying: when this is clicked, hide the rest. • LINQ(2 SQL) Insert Multiple Tables Question

  I have 3 tables. A primary EmploymentPlan table with PK GUID EmploymentPlanID and 2 FK's GUID PrevocServicesID & GUID JobDevelopmentServicesID. There are of course other fields, almost exclusively varchar(). Then the 2 secondary tables with the corresponding PK to the primary's FK's. I am trying to write the LINQ INSERT Method and am struggling with the creation of the keys. Say I have a method like below. Is that correct? Will that even work? Should I have seperate methods for each? Also, when INSERTING I didn't think I needed to provide the PK for a table. It is auto-generated, no? • PostSharp , PDB Debugging and Referenced Assemblies ...

  When using PostSharp with a Referenced Assembly with proper PDB info( checked with chkmatch), it seems strange that the debug info gets lost by VStudio build and post compile process and I get the following error by using chkmatch to compare the assembly after the vstudio build. Error: Debug information not found in the executable. So it doesn't step into for debugging into this assembly. Does Post Sharp properly writes back the Assemblies without destroying the PDB location offset info as I saw no valid offset info in the written back into DLL by PostSharp using Hex Editor and What's the workaround for this ? • Problem with multiple event handling in JQuery

  Hi everyone, I have a strange jquery problem with multiple event handlers. What I'm trying to achieve is this: User selects some text on the page If the selection is not empty - show a context menu If user clicks somewhere else - the context menu should disappear I'm having troubles with the above i.e. sometimes the context menu appears correctly, sometimes it appears and disappears straight after user makes a selection. Please help. See the relevant parts of my code below. When the user selects the image the app immediately crashes! Thus the image is not rotated around itself but around the upper left corner of the screen. First I have two classes involved in the issue, the publish class (where publishing the service and socket configuration is done) and the connection (where the socket binding and the streams configuration is done). The main issue is in the connection via native socket. In the 'publish' class the "server" accepts a connection with a callback. The callback has the native-socket information. Then, a connection with native-socket information is created. Next, the socket binding and the streams configuration is done. When those actions are successful the instance of the connection is saved in a mutable array. • How to Access a decendant object's internal method in C#

  I'm trying to access a method that is marked as internal in the parent class (in its own assembly) in an object that inherits from the same parent. Let me explain what I'm trying to do... I want to create Service classes that return IEnumberable with an underlying List to non-Service classes (e.g. the UI) and optionally return an IEnumerable with an underlying IQueryable to other services. I wrote some sample code to demonstrate what I'm trying to accomplish, shown below. The example is not real life, so please remember that when commenting. All services would inherit from something like this (only relevant code shown): public class ServiceBase<T> { protected readonly ObjectContext _context; protected string _setName = String.Empty; public ServiceBase(ObjectContext context) { _context = context; } public IEnumerable<T> GetAll() { return GetAll(false); } //These are not the correct access modifiers.. With GetAll(bool returnQueryable) being marked internal, the children would not be able to see each other's GetAll(bool) method, just the public GetAll() method. I know that I can add a new internal GetAll method to each service (or perhaps an intermediary parent class within the same assembly) so that each child service within the assembly can see each other's method; but it seems unnecessary since the functionality is already available in the parent class. For example: internal IEnumerable<Employees> GetAll(bool returnIQueryable) { return base.GetAll(returnIQueryable); } Essentially what I want is for services to be able to access other service methods as IQueryable so that they can further refine the uncommitted results, while everyone else gets plain old lists. Any ideas?

  I have created an array Man: public main blah blah{ man = man[10]; } Man has fields such as Man.name; Man.age; ... In Man class, there is a OnClick method that opens a new window showing its name and age. public Man(){ Onclick(){ InfoWindow showinfo = new InfoWindow(this.getid()) // If this is Man[2] the id would be 2. } And in InfoWindow class: public class InfoWindow extends JFrame{ public InfoWindow(Man selectedMan){ setSize(300, 200); JLabel info = new JLabel(selectedMan.getname()); add(info); info.setVisible(true); } } Basically, that's wanna acomplish (show in pseudocode), pass a Man[i] into a class that when a window is created, shows the info related to that man. This is how i'm actualy trying to implement it but it's not working, i'm pretty sure there is a misconception from me in some part. Any help?

  In ExtJS, I'm having a little trouble placing two fieldsets side-by-side in a panel with a hbox layout. The hbox layout seems to be unaware of the fieldset's height, and cuts it off, even if I explicitly set the panel's height to something large. Here's what it looks like: The blue border is the hbox panel, and there's 2 fieldsets inside, 'Client Info' and 'Owner Info'. The code is like so (simplified and runnable in Firebug): var clientInfo = { xtype: 'fieldset', defaultType: 'textfield', title: 'Client Info', items: [ { fieldLabel: 'First Name' }, { fieldLabel: 'Last Name' }, { fieldLabel: 'Cell Phone #' }, { fieldLabel: 'Work Phone #' } ] }; var ownerInfo = { xtype: 'fieldset', defaultType: 'textfield', title: 'Owner Info', items: [ { fieldLabel: 'First Name' }, { fieldLabel: 'Last Name' }, { fieldLabel: 'Cell Phone #' }, { fieldLabel: 'Work Phone #' } ] }; new Ext.Panel({ layout: 'hbox', frame: true, height: 400, width: 800, defaults: { flex: 1 }, items: [ clientInfo, ownerInfo ] }).render(document.body); P.S. If you remove defaults: { flex: 1 }, the fieldsets render correctly, but doesn't automatically resize to fit the container, which is something I need.
