• Why am I asked for default's keyring at startup?

  I'm prompted for default's keyring at every boot since 11.10 upgrade, even though I don't see any application I have needing at startup (I have no wifi, and disabled gwibber-service) How can I know which application is requesting it ? How can I disable it ? I can't even move any window until I enter the password, and sometimes entering the password even crashes X (bug reported here : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-evdev/+bug/882955)

  How are they called? It is useful for configuring them via dconf, reporting bugs and so on but hard to find out. I remember there was similar wuestion for 11:04 but cannot find it. These are the indicators on my system: There are ten, the last one on the left is Tomboy, the rest is more or less default (the second from the left is displayed only if more than one keybord layout is used). What are their names?

  Let's say I have a User model, with a facebook_uid field corresponding to the user's facebook id. I want to allow the user to unlink his facebook account. Do do so, I need to set this attribute to nil. I currently see 2 ways of doing this First way : create a custom action and link to it # app/controllers/users_controller.rb def unlink_facebook_account @user = User.find params[:id] # Authorization checks go here @user.facebook_uid = nil @user.save # Redirection go here end # config/routes.rb ressources :users do get 'unlink_fb', :on => :member, :as => unlink_fb end # in a view = link_to "Unlink your facebook account", unlink_fb_path(@user) Second way : create a form to the existing update action # app/views/user/_unlink_fb_form.html.haml = form_for @user, :method => "post" do |f| = f.hidden_field :facebook_uid, :value => nil = f.submit "Unlink Facebook account" I'm not a big fan of either way. In the first one, I have to add a new action for something that the update controller already can do. In the second one, I cannot set the facebook_uid to nil without customizing the update action, and I cannot have a link instead of a button without adding some javascript. Still, what would you recommend as the best and most elegant solution for this context? Did I miss a third alternative?

Please verify the VM successfully booted by looking at the VirtualBox GUI. Then when I subsequently try and connect using vagrant ssh or vagrant reload or similar, I get this: myterminal$ vagrant reload [default] Attempting graceful shutdown of linux... SSH connection was refused! This usually happens if the VM failed to boot properly. Some steps to try to fix this: First, try reloading your VM with `vagrant reload`, since a simple restart sometimes fixes things. If that doesn't work, destroy your VM and recreate it with a `vagrant destroy` followed by a `vagrant up`. • WebDav issue with Mac OS X 10.5.3 onwards

  Hi, We upgraded to Mac OS X 10.5.3 and getting problem when uploading files (PUT) to a webdav server (the server is Apache running on a Windows environment). When we drag and drop on to a webdav folder using Finder we get a -36 error. When looking at the stack trace of the web server the problem is due to INVALID CRLF or some times getting the following error. Both the stack point to error when copying the stream. When googled found that it is because the Mac changed to Transfer-Encoding to 'Chunked' ClientAbortException: java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: socket write error at   So couple of days ago I asked how to log php and nginx logs to centralized MySQL database, and m0ntassar gave a perfect answer :) cheer ! I assume that I am missing something really simple or I need to do some parsing between source and destination. Any help will be much appreciated :)

  I've got rewrite module working great for my IIS7.5 site. Now, I wish to add a number of urls that all goto an HTTP 410-Gone status. An example would be to override the Cmd+N for a New Finder Window to some other action, say Open a blank Text document. I can create the service for opening a blank Text document in automator - and I can map a new keyboard shortcut for this - but the new keyboard shortcut will not override a default keyboard shortcut. I do not want to install any 3rd party applications (like QuickSilver).

  I know this question sounds cryptic, but what I mean is this: I set different icons for the 'home' and mounted volumes on the desktop, but I want to revert that action. How do I do that? I already tried to do it from the icon selection dialog by clicking revert, but no effect. How do I restore this? (the desktop icons are from the default GNOME Icon Theme but I have the Faience icon theme: these do not really match up). Thanks in advance! I'm running Ubuntu-GNOME 13.04 64-bit (GNOME 3.8.2) I set the icons by right clicking, clicking the icon and selecting it by the dialog.

  In Silverlight, System.Windows.Threading's Dispatcher.BeginInvoke() takes an Action<T> or a delegate to invoke. .NET allows me to pass just the lambda expression. but ReSharper sees it as an error, saying "Cannot resolve method 'BeginInvoke(lambda expression)'": Dispatcher.BeginInvoke(() => { DoSomething(); }) The error goes away if I explicitly create the Action around the expression like this: Dispatcher.BeginInvoke(new Action<object>(o => { DoSomething(); })); I prefer the least amount of code in this case for the best readability. Now I have to change this so that the UI is still in a setup project but that the output is within a merge module. The current Custom Action Data looks much like the following with EditHostUrl coming from a UI dialog editbox. /HostUrl="[EditHostUrl]" I now need to pass this value to the merge module and then from there use it as an input for the custom action data to the project output but there does not seem to be any documentation on how to achieve this. To be clear Wix/InstallShield etc... are not currently options. I would also rather not embed the UI within the merge module (for reasons of separation and also it's not supported out of the box with visual studio).

But I get an error, it treats '1' as an action and 'newfwd' as an id. I want '1' to be interpreted as the id for emails, upon which the newfwd action acts. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
