    - by udaya
Hi I am importing the contacts from gmail to my page ..... The process doesnot work due to this error 'curl_init' is not defined The suggestion i got is to 1.uncomment destination curl.dll 2.copy the following libraries to the windows/system32 dir. ssleay32.dll libeay32.dll 3.copy php_curl.dll to windows/system32 After trying all these i refreshed my xampp Even then error occurs This is my page where i am trying to import the gmail contacts ` // set URL and other appropriate options curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, "http://www.example.com/"); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HEADER, 0); // grab URL and pass it to the browser curl_exec($ch); // close cURL resource, and free up system resources curl_close($ch); ? • How to fix First Data payment gateway issues "unable to load certificate" ?

    - by Krishnan
Our asp.net team working on Shopping cart projects We have integrated First Data payment gateway for payment process We have included Visa/master card verification using Alternative First Data payment gateway After visa/master card verification we got cavv(secure code), xid, eci values. After getting cavv, xid and eci values we have appended these values to First data payment gateway. We have set the host as "secure.linkpt.net" and port as 1129 and also set the config and pem files. Now we got an error when sending the xml values to payment gateway as given below Unable to load certificate ERRs: wsa=33558530 err=33558530 ssl=537317504 sys=33558530. • Parsing the first column of a csv file to a new file.

    - by S1syphus
Operating System: OSX Method: From the command line, so using sed, cut, gawk, although preferably no installing modules. Essentially I am trying to take the first column of a csv file and parse it to a new file. Example input file EXAMPLEfoo,60,6 EXAMPLEbar,30,6 EXAMPLE1,60,3 EXAMPLE2,120,6 EXAMPLE3,60,6 EXAMPLE4,30,6 Desire output EXAMPLEfoo EXAMPLEbar EXAMPLE1 EXAMPLE2 EXAMPLE3 EXAMPLE4 So I want the first column. Here is what I have tried so far: awk -F"," '{print $1}' in.csv > out.txt awk -F"," '{for (i=2;i<=NF;i++)}' in.csv > out.txt awk -F"," 'BEGIN { OFS="," }' '{print $1}' in.csv > out.txt cat in.csv | cut -d \, -f 1 > out.txt None seem to work, either they just print the first line or nothing at all, so I would assume it's failing to read line by line.

  • How do I change a child's parent in NHibernate when cascade is delete-all-orphan?

    - by Daniel T.
I have two entities in a bi-directional one-to-many relationship: public class Storage { public IList<Box> Boxes { get; set; } } public class Box { public Storage CurrentStorage { get; set; } } And the mapping: <class name="Storage"> <bag name="Boxes" cascade="all-delete-orphan" inverse="true"> <key column="Storage_Id" /> <one-to-many class="Box" /> </bag> </class> <class name="Box"> <many-to-one name="CurrentStorage" column="Storage_Id" /> </class> A Storage can have many Boxes, but a Box can only belong to one Storage. I have them mapped so that the one-to-many has a cascade of all-delete-orphan. My problem arises when I try to change a Box's Storage. Assuming I already ran this code: var storage1 = new Storage(); var storage2 = new Storage(); storage1.Boxes.Add(new Box()); Session.Create(storage1); Session.Create(storage2); The following code will give me an exception: // get the first and only box in the DB var existingBox = Database.GetBox().First(); // remove the box from storage1 existingBox.CurrentStorage.Boxes.Remove(existingBox); // add the box to storage2 after it's been removed from storage1 var storage2 = Database.GetStorage().Second(); storage2.Boxes.Add(existingBox); Session.Flush(); // commit changes to DB I get the following exception: NHibernate.ObjectDeletedException : deleted object would be re-saved by cascade (remove deleted object from associations) This exception occurs because I have the cascade set to all-delete-orphan. The first Storage detected that I removed the Box from its collection and marks it for deletion. However, when I added it to the second Storage (in the same session), it attempts to save the box again and the ObjectDeletedException is thrown. My question is, how do I get the Box to change its parent Storage without encountering this exception? I know one possible solution is to change the cascade to just all, but then I lose the ability to have NHibernate automatically delete a Box by simply removing it from a Storage and not re-associating it with another one. Or is this the only way to do it and I have to manually call Session.Delete on the box in order to remove it?

  • Do the UI first with SketchFlow - Do I concern about the UI look?

    - by stacker
There is no questions: UI-First Software Development. But what does it takes to do the UI first? I started to build a website, a complicated one, and know I start to concern about the UI. Instead to start coding html+css, I decided to start with SkecthFlow. now, I'm very confused. Do I want to build a exact sketch? meaning to think about colors, fonts make sure that the button will look like a web link... etc, or just build the application sketch flow? meaning put a textboxes and buttons. Do I need to implement every thing in SketchFlow first? I'm looking for best practice.

  • In the JSON spec, what does "Since the first two characters of a JSON text will always be ASCII characters" mean?

    - by dan gibson
The spec is http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc4627.txt?number=4627 It contains this: Encoding JSON text SHALL be encoded in Unicode. The default encoding is UTF-8. Since the first two characters of a JSON text will always be ASCII characters [RFC0020], it is possible to determine whether an octet stream is UTF-8, UTF-16 (BE or LE), or UTF-32 (BE or LE) by looking at the pattern of nulls in the first four octets. What does it mean "Since the first two characters of a JSON text will always be ASCII characters [RFC0020]"? I've looked at RFC0020 but couldn't find anything about it. JSON could be {" or { " (ie whitespace before the quote.

  • jQuery how to add class to a parent div which has a 3rd level child div with a specific class name.

    - by Vikram
    Hello friends I have an issue adding a special class to a couple of my divs. My layout is like this. <div class="container"> <div class="grid-6 push-3 equal" style="height: 999px;"> <div class="block"> <div id="mainbody"> <!-- Body content here --> </div> </div> </div> <div class="grid-2 equal" style="height: 999px;"> <div class="block"> <div id="sidebar-a"> <!-- Sidebar-a content here --> </div> </div> </div> <div class="grid-2 equal" style="height: 999px;"> <div class="block"> <div id="sidebar-b"> <!-- Sidebar-b content here --> </div> </div> </div> <div class="grid-2 equal" style="height: 999px;"> <div class="block"> <div id="sidebar-b"> <!-- Sidebar-c content here --> </div> </div> </div> </div> I want to add a different background color to each of my sidebars via CSS and when I code like: #mainbody { background : #fff; } #sidebar-a { background : #eee; } #sidebar-b { background : #ddd; } #sidebar-c { background : #ccc; } It is applying the background only to that specific class but that specific class is not of equal height. I actually need to apply to this <div class="grid-2 equal" style="height: 999px;"> div. Now the issue is that in this <div class="grid-6 push-3 equal" style="height: 999px;"> and class="grid-2 equal" style="height: 999px;"> the class names grid-6 and grid-2 are generated dynamically by my PHP of 960 Grid System and also the style="height: 999px; is generated by a jQuery script for Equal-Columns. What I want is to add a unique class name like this...... Look for a div with a class of .equal which has a child div with a class of .block and which further has a child div with an ID of sidebar-a. IF TRUE then add a class of .sidebar-a to the maindiv which has a class of .equal So that the result looks like this: <div class="grid-6 equal push-3 mainbody" style="height: 999px;"> <div class="grid-2 equal sidebar-a" style="height: 999px;"> <div class="grid-2 equal sidebar-b" style="height: 999px;"> <div class="grid-2 equal sidebar-c" style="height: 999px;"> Then I'll be able to style it like this: .mainbody { background : #fff; } .sidebar-a { background : #eee; } .sidebar-b { background : #ddd; } .sidebar-c { background : #ccc; } Hence I thought since I am anyway using jQuery in my Template, why not use it to deal with this issue. Please feel free to suggest a better way if you have something else in mind.

  • Find first cell in a row that contains a number?

    - by Dexter
    I'm working in Excel with an exported table such as this: |-------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | | A | B | C | D | E | F | G | H | I | |---|-------------------|-----|-----|-----|-----|-----|-------|-----|-----------| | 1 | Domain | JAN | FEB | MAR | APR | MAY | Start | End | Change | |---|-------------------|-----|-----|-----|-----|-----|-------|-----|-----------| | 2 | www.mydomain1.com | | 1 | 4 | 3 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 0 | |---|-------------------|-----|-----|-----|-----|-----|-------|-----|-----------| | 3 | www.mydomain2.com | 2 | 4 | 12 | 18 | 23 | 2 | 23 | 21 | |---|-------------------|-----|-----|-----|-----|-----|-------|-----|-----------| | 4 | www.mydomain3.com | | | 14 | 12 | | 14 | xxx | NOT FOUND | |-------------------------------------------------------------------------------| I'm trying to compare the current state (last cell) to the original cell (first cell with a value). In column I, I have the formula =IF(G2 = "xxx", "NOT FOUND", IF(H2 = "xxx", "NOT FOUND", H2 - G2)) In column H, I have the formula =IF(F2 = "", "xxx", F2) In column G, I need to find the first cell with a number. If there isn't one in that range, I need G to be "xxx". I suppose I only need to check for the first cell in the range (B2 to F2) that contains a value, not just a number. I tried using an Index and Match combo, but I couldn't quite understand it.

  • How can I capitalize the first letter of an input ?

    - by Safirio
I'm currently trying to capitalize the very first letter from an input. Here's what I tryed : fieldset input { text-transform:capitalize; } But it doesn't work the way I want, as every word is capitalized. I also tryed this : fieldset input:first-letter { text-transform:uppercase; } But it seems <input /> doesn't work at all with first-letter... Anyway, do you have any idea of how to achieve this without javascript (or as little as possible) ?

  • How to keep the first result of a function from Prolog?

    - by zuhakasa
I need to write a customized function that will be called many times by other fixed functions. In this function, at the first called time, it will return the total number of lines of a file. The second called time of this function, forward, will return the number of lines in small sections of this file. My question is how I keep the first returned result(total number of lines of a file) and use it for the next called times of my function. I need to write or declare any thing only in this function(not in the caller). Something like this: myFunction(Input, MyResult, FirstResult) :- calculateInputFunction(Input, Result), !, MyResult is Result, ... . The problem is, every time myFunction is called, it receives different Input and returns different MyResult. But I would like to keep the first MyResult to use for next called times of myFunction. How can I do that? Thanks very much for your answer in advance.

  • SQL Server 2008 second instance times out when logging in -- but only the first time?

    - by Kromey
This is a strange one that has plagued me for a while now. When logging in to the second instance of SQL Server 2008 on one of our database servers, we get a timeout error: Cannot connect to servername\mssqlserver2. Additional information: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. (Microsoft SQL Server)") (This is the error message when trying to connect with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio; other tools experience the same error, but of course say it in different ways.) Immediately re-attempting to log in works just fine, so whatever the cause it's ephemeral! This happens regardless of user or authentication type (both Windows and SQL Server authentication methods are supported on this instance). What's even weirder, though, is that the first instance on this server has never once demonstrated this problem. Server is a Windows Server 2008 R2 virtual server, hosted in Microsoft Hyper-V (host is likewise Server 2008 R2). The server has 2GB of RAM, and seems to regularly be using 90% of that -- could low memory be the cause of this issue? I could see this second instance -- which is not used very often yet -- being swapped out to disk, and then taking too long to load back into memory to respond in time to the connection request, but I'd rather have more than just my own hunch before I go scheduling a downtime for this server (the first instance is used regularly) and then just throwing extra resources at it in the blind hope that the problem goes away.

  • MS Word 2010: Hide citation title when 2 publications by same first author from different years are in one citation block

    - by srunni
I'm trying to hide the display of the titles for two publications by the same first author from different years that are in the same citation block. By default, the title is shown in citations when there are two publications by the same author in a given document. The easiest way to get around this is to right click on the citation, click "Edit Citation", and then suppress the title. However, the issue with this is that if there are 2 citations in 1 citation block (i.e., "(Smith, J., et al. 2010, Smith, J., et al. 2011)" rather than "(Smith, J., et al. 2010) (Smith, J., et al. 2011)"), then using that suppress option only suppresses the title for the first citation (in this case, the 2010 publication). OTOH, if I try to initially insert the publications in separate citation blocks, I can suppress the title in both citations, but I can't cut and paste one into the other's citation block. I can click "Cut" and the citation that was just cut disappears, but the "Paste" option is not available when my cursor is in the second citation block. Any ideas? Thanks!

  • SSL configuration issue. SSL/IIS7 not loading all scripts/CSS on user's first visit

    - by Chris
Hi all, Hopefully this isnt a tricky one. I've got a web app that doesn't load all javascript/css/images on the first visit. Second visit is fine. After approximately 2 minutes of inactivity the problem reoccurs. These problems only started occuring after the customer requested SSL be applied to the application. Ajax requests stop working after 2 minutes of activity despite a successful page load of all javascript elements. Application timeout is 30 minutes - like I said, everything was fine before SSL was applied. All javascript and CSS files use absolute URLS - e.g https://blablabla There appears to be no pattern as to why certain files arent loaded. The firebug Net output shows the status for the failed elements as 'Aborted'. For example, site.css and nav.css are in the same folder, are declared after each other in the head tag yet one is loaded and the other is not. Both will load fine after refreshing the page (unless roughly two minutes have passed). An Ajax request also shows as aborted after two minutes. However, if i do the request again the Ajax request will succeed. Almost as if the first request woke something up. None of these problems occur in Chrome Any ideas? FYI this is a .Net 4 C# MVC app running under IIS7 but I'm not sure its relevant since it works in Chrome. Everything worked fine before SSL was applied. Originally posted on stackoverflow but recommended to list here. Can provide additional details if necessary.

  • Reading input from a text file, omits the first and adds a nonsense value to the end?

    - by Greenhouse Gases
Hi there When I input locations from a txt file I am getting a peculiar error where it seems to miss off the first entry, yet add a garbage entry to the end of the link list (it is designed to take the name, latitude and longitude for each location you will notice). I imagine this to be an issue with where it starts collecting the inputs and where it stops but I cant find the error!! It reads the first line correctly but then skips to the next before adding it because during testing for the bug it had no record of the first location Lisbon though whilst stepping into the method call it was reading it. Very bizarre but hopefully someone knows the issue. Here is firstly my header file: #include <string> struct locationNode { char nodeCityName [35]; double nodeLati; double nodeLongi; locationNode* Next; void CorrectCase() // Correct upper and lower case letters of input { int MAX_SIZE = 35; int firstLetVal = this->nodeCityName[0], letVal; int n = 1; // variable for name index from second letter onwards if((this->nodeCityName[0] >90) && (this->nodeCityName[0] < 123)) // First letter is lower case { firstLetVal = firstLetVal - 32; // Capitalise first letter this->nodeCityName[0] = firstLetVal; } while(n <= MAX_SIZE - 1) { if((this->nodeCityName[n] >= 65) && (this->nodeCityName[n] <= 90)) { letVal = this->nodeCityName[n] + 32; this->nodeCityName[n] = letVal; } n++; } //cityNameInput = this->nodeCityName; } }; class Locations { private: int size; public: Locations(){ }; // constructor for the class locationNode* Head; //int Add(locationNode* Item); }; And here is the file containing main: // U08221.cpp : main project file. #include "stdafx.h" #include "Locations.h" #include <iostream> #include <string> #include <fstream> using namespace std; int n = 0,x, locationCount = 0, MAX_SIZE = 35; string cityNameInput; char targetCity[35]; bool acceptedInput = false, userInputReq = true, match = false, nodeExists = false;// note: addLocation(), set to true to enable user input as opposed to txt file locationNode *start_ptr = NULL; // pointer to first entry in the list locationNode *temp, *temp2; // Part is a pointer to a new locationNode we can assign changing value followed by a call to Add locationNode *seek, *bridge; void setElementsNull(char cityParam[]) { int y=0, count =0; while(cityParam[y] != NULL) { y++; } while(y < MAX_SIZE) { cityParam[y] = NULL; y++; } } void addLocation() { temp = new locationNode; // declare the space for a pointer item and assign a temporary pointer to it if(!userInputReq) // bool that determines whether user input is required in adding the node to the list { cout << endl << "Enter the name of the location: "; cin >> temp->nodeCityName; temp->CorrectCase(); setElementsNull(temp->nodeCityName); cout << endl << "Please enter the latitude value for this location: "; cin >> temp->nodeLati; cout << endl << "Please enter the longitude value for this location: "; cin >> temp->nodeLongi; cout << endl; } temp->Next = NULL; //set to NULL as when one is added it is currently the last in the list and so can not point to the next if(start_ptr == NULL){ // if list is currently empty, start_ptr will point to this node start_ptr = temp; } else { temp2 = start_ptr; // We know this is not NULL - list not empty! while (temp2->Next != NULL) { temp2 = temp2->Next; // Move to next link in chain until reach end of list } temp2->Next = temp; } ++locationCount; // increment counter for number of records in list if(!userInputReq){ cout << "Location sucessfully added to the database! Any ideas why? Thank you in advance.

  • Hide/Show some HTML table cells individually and align the remaining cells as they belong to the same row [closed]

    - by Brian
    [Edited at the resquest of admins] The best way I can explain my problem is showning an example. I have the table that you can see on the link below (since I can't post images...), that ha a table head (blue) and four rows, whose cells are green and white in color. I just want the white cells to hide/show alternately by clicking on green cells, which would remain always visible as parent cells. After hiding white cells, the green ones should be aligned into the same row, as they would fit like tetris bricks. That's all, I think more clear is impossible. http://i.stack.imgur.com/3n3In.jpg (follow the link to see the image explanation) The table code: <table class="columns" cellspacing="0" border="0"> <tr> <td class="left" rowspan="2"> <div style="text-align:center;"></div> </td> </tr><tr><td class="middle"> <div id="detail_table_source" style="display:none"></div> <br> <table id="detail_table" class="detail"> <colgroup> <col style="width:20px;"> <col style="width:40px;"> <col style="width:70px;"> <col style="width:20px;"> </colgroup> <thead> <tr> <th width="88">Blahhh</th> <th width="211">BLAHH</th> <th width="229">BLAHH</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr class="parent" id="row123" style="cursor: pointer; " title="Click to expand/collapse"> <td bgcolor="#A6A4CC">Blahhh</td> <td bgcolor="#A6A4CC">blah blah </td> <td bgcolor="#A6A4CC">Blahh</td> </tr> <tr class="child-row123" style="display: none; "> <td rowspan="3" bgcolor="#5B5B5B">&nbsp;</td> <td>blah blah </td> <td>blah blah</td> </tr> <tr class="child-row123" style="display: none; "> <td>blah blah</td> <td>blah blah</td> </tr> <tr class="child-row123" style="display: none; "> <td>blah blah</td> <td>blah blah</td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#6B7A94" class="parent" id="row456" style="cursor: pointer; " title="Click to expand/collapse"><strong>Blahh</strong></td> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF" class="child-cell456" style="display: none; ">blah blah</td> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF" class="child-cell456" style="display: none; ">blah blah</td> </tr> <tr> <td rowspan="4" valign="top" bgcolor="#5B5B5B" class="child-row456" style="display: none; ">&nbsp;</td> <td bgcolor="#6B7A94" class="parent" id="cell456" style="cursor: pointer; " title="Click to expand/collapse">blah blah</td> <td bgcolor="#6B7A94" class="parent" id="cell456" style="cursor: pointer; " title="Click to expand/collapse">blah blah</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="child-cell456" style="display: none; ">blah blah</td> <td class="child-cell456" style="display: none; ">blah blah</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="child-cell456" style="display: none; ">blah blah</td> <td class="child-cell456" style="display: none; ">blah blah</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> The script to hide/show whole rows (this works because it is copied from another example): <script language="javascript"> $(function() { $('tr.parent') .css("cursor","pointer") .attr("title","Click to expand/collapse") .click(function(){ $(this).siblings('.child-'+this.id).toggle(); }); $('tr[@class^=child-]').hide().children('td'); }); </script> And the failed attempt at expanding/hiding individual cells: <script language="javascript"> $(function() { $('td.parent') .css("cursor","pointer") .attr("title","Click to expand/collapse") .click(function(){ $(this).siblings('.child-'+this.id).toggle(); }); $('td[@class^=child-]').hide().children('td'); }); </script>

  • Varnish 3.0.2 to Apache2 sometimes return error 503

    - by Ronnie Jespersen
Hey guys I hope you can help me out here. I have an Ngingx parsing http and https to a varnish cache(3.0.2). From the varnish it is sent to apache2. Now I have for some time been tracking some strange 503 errors. But I cant seem to find the silver bullet. Currently I am logging the 503 errors through varnish this way: sudo varnishlog -c -m TxStatus:503 >> /home/rj/varnishlog503.log and then referring to the apache access log to see if any 503 requests have been handled. Today I had a health check from the firewall that failed: 20 SessionOpen c 127.0.0.1 34319 :8081 20 ReqStart c 127.0.0.1 34319 607335635 20 RxRequest c HEAD 20 RxURL c /health-check 20 RxProtocol c HTTP/1.0 20 RxHeader c X-Real-IP: 192.168.3.254 20 RxHeader c Host: 192.168.3.189 20 RxHeader c X-Forwarded-For: 192.168.3.254 20 RxHeader c Connection: close 20 RxHeader c User-Agent: Astaro Service Monitor 0.9 20 RxHeader c Accept: */* 20 VCL_call c recv lookup 20 VCL_call c hash 20 Hash c /health-check 20 VCL_return c hash 20 VCL_call c miss fetch 20 Backend c 33 aurum aurum 20 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 20 VCL_call c error deliver 20 VCL_call c deliver deliver 20 TxProtocol c HTTP/1.1 20 TxStatus c 503 20 TxResponse c Service Unavailable 20 TxHeader c Server: Varnish 20 TxHeader c Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 20 TxHeader c Retry-After: 5 20 TxHeader c Content-Length: 879 20 TxHeader c Accept-Ranges: bytes 20 TxHeader c Date: Wed, 06 Jun 2012 12:35:12 GMT 20 TxHeader c X-Varnish: 607335635 20 TxHeader c Age: 60 20 TxHeader c Via: 1.1 varnish 20 TxHeader c Connection: close 20 Length c 879 20 ReqEnd c 607335635 1338986052.649786949 1338986112.648169994 0.000160217 59.997980356 0.000402689 Now the backend server (apache) does not have any 503 error in the access log at this point. So I am confused. Is this varnish throwing a 503 because it thinks apache is to slow? There is a lot traffic coming through at this point so I know the server is up and running. I do have other 503 error codes with posts and gets so there is really no pattern. It seems to be at random times and random requests. Even in the morning when the server dosen't seem to be doing anything. I do see another pattern in the log: 4 VCL_call c recv pass 4 VCL_call c hash 4 Hash c /?id=412 4 VCL_return c hash 4 VCL_call c pass pass 4 FetchError c no backend connection 4 VCL_call c error deliver 4 VCL_call c deliver deliver Here fetcherror says "no backend connection". A summery of the FetchErrors in todays log: 16 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 5 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 4 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 19 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 5 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 23 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 24 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 16 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 6 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 4 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 5 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 4 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 4 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 22 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 6 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 21 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 26 FetchError c no backend connection 4 FetchError c no backend connection 20 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) 39 FetchError c http first read error: -1 11 (No error recorded) I haven't changed the default timeout values for varnish. This is my configuration for one of the backend servers. backend xenon { .host = "192.168.3.187"; .port = "80"; .probe = { .url = "/health-check/"; .interval = 3s; .window = 5; .threshold = 2; } } I'm running prefork module on apache2 with this configuration <IfModule mpm_prefork_module> StartServers 1 MinSpareServers 2 MaxSpareServers 5 MaxClients 200 MaxRequestsPerChild 75 </IfModule> and only PHP files is sent to the server. Every other static file is handled by Nginx. • I'm trying to pass a string from my first ViewController to my second ViewController but it returns NULL

    - by Dashony
In my first view controller I have 3 input fields each of them take the user input into and saves it into a string such as: address, username and password as NSUserDefaults. This part works fine. In my second view controller I'm trying to take the 3 strings from first controller (address, username and password) create a html link based on the 3 strings. I've tried many ways to access the 3 strings with no luck, the result I get is NULL. Here is my code: //.h file - first view controller with the 3 input fields CamSetup.h #import <UIKit/UIKit.h> @interface CamSetup : UIViewController <UITextFieldDelegate> { NSString * address; NSString * username; NSString * password; IBOutlet UITextField * addressField; IBOutlet UITextField * usernameField; IBOutlet UITextField * passwordField; } -(IBAction) saveAddress: (id) sender; -(IBAction) saveUsername: (id) sender; -(IBAction) savePassword: (id) sender; @property(nonatomic, retain) UITextField *addressField; @property(nonatomic, retain) UITextField *usernameField; @property(nonatomic, retain) UITextField *passwordField; @property(nonatomic, retain) NSString *address; @property(nonatomic, retain) NSString *username; @property(nonatomic, retain) NSString *password; @end //.m file - first view controller CamSetup.m #import "CamSetup.h" @interface CamSetup () @end @implementation CamSetup @synthesize addressField, usernameField, passwordField, address, username, password; -(IBAction) saveAddress: (id) sender { address = [[NSString alloc] initWithFormat:addressField.text]; [addressField setText:address]; NSUserDefaults *stringDefaultAddress = [NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults]; [stringDefaultAddress setObject:address forKey:@"stringKey1"]; NSLog(@"String [%@]", address); } -(IBAction) saveUsername: (id) sender { username = [[NSString alloc] initWithFormat:usernameField.text]; [usernameField setText:username]; NSUserDefaults *stringDefaultUsername = [NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults]; [stringDefaultUsername setObject:username forKey:@"stringKey2"]; NSLog(@"String [%@]", username); } -(IBAction) savePassword: (id) sender { password = [[NSString alloc] initWithFormat:passwordField.text]; [passwordField setText:password]; NSUserDefaults *stringDefaultPassword = [NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults]; [stringDefaultPassword setObject:password forKey:@"stringKey3"]; NSLog(@"String [%@]", password); } - (void)viewDidLoad { [addressField setText:[[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] objectForKey:@"stringKey1"]]; [usernameField setText:[[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] objectForKey:@"stringKey2"]]; [passwordField setText:[[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] objectForKey:@"stringKey3"]]; [super viewDidLoad]; } @end //.h second view controller LiveView.h #import <UIKit/UIKit.h> #import "CamSetup.h" @interface LiveView : UIViewController { NSString *theAddress; NSString *theUsername; NSString *thePassword; CamSetup *camsetup; //here is an instance of the first class } @property (nonatomic, retain) NSString *theAddress; @property (nonatomic, retain) NSString *theUsername; @property (nonatomic, retain) NSString *thePassword; @end //.m second view LiveView.m file #import "LiveView.h" @interface LiveView () @end @implementation LiveView @synthesize theAddress, theUsername, thePassword; - (void)viewDidLoad { [super viewDidLoad]; theUsername = camsetup.username; //this is probably not right? • Storing hierarchical (parent/child) data in Python/Django: MPTT alternative?

    - by Parand
I'm looking for a good way to store and use hierarchical (parent/child) data in Django. I've been using django-mptt, but it seems entirely incompatible with my brain - I end up with non-obvious bugs in non-obvious places, mostly when moving things around in the tree: I end up with inconsistent state, where a node and its parent will disagree on their relationship. My needs are simple: Given a node: find its root find its ancestors find its descendants With a tree: easily move nodes (ie. change parent) My trees will be smallish (at most 10k nodes over 20 levels, generally much much smaller, say 10 nodes with 1 or 2 levels). I have to think there has to be an easier way to do trees in python/django. Are there other approaches that do a better job of maintaining consistency?

  • How to generate proxy for a child class when my web service return a parent class?

    - by Amir Borzoei
Hi * I have a web method like this: public class ParentClass{ public String str1; } public class ChildClass : ParentClass{ public String str2; } public class WebService{ public ParentClass WebMethod(){ return GetFirstChildClass(); //Return a child class } } When I generate proxy for this web service by Visual Studio, VS just generate proxy for ParentClass but I need ChildClass too. For workaround I add a dummy method to WebService that return ChildClass to generate proxy for ChildClass in client. public class WebService{ ... //This is a dummy method to generate proxy for ChildClass in client. public ChildClass DummyWebMethod(){ return null; } } In addition I write web service in java (JAX-WS) and my client is a SilverLight Application. Is there a better solution for this problem? tanx for your help ;)

  • How to refresh parent and ancestor windows after closing the child windows?

    - by truthseeker
Hi, I have three windows: 1st - main window 2nd - child window - it's opened using window.showModalDialog from 1st widnow. 3rd - window - is an ancestor of 1st window and is's opened from 2nd window using window.showModalDialog. And now what I need to achieve is to open 1, 2 and 3 window. Next after closing the 3rd one, refresh the 2nd one. And after closing the 2nd one, refresh the 1st one. But there is one more assumption, I don't want to have any post-back during this process. Dose anybody have any idea how to make it?

  • Why won't binding to a child object property with rdlc Report work in vs2010?

    - by andrej351
A while ago someone asked how to bind to a child object's property in a rdlc report. Question here. The solution was to use an expression like this: =Fields!ChildObject.Value.SomeProperty I have recently tried to upgrade to version 10 of the reporting libraries (Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms and Microsoft.ReportViewer.Common) and for some reason this does not work anymore. I have got the report rendering and displaying all data fine except any which uses this technique. Instead of the property value i get the text: "#Error" Why doesn't this work anymore? Anybody know how to to this in the new version?

  • What's the best way to move "a child up" in a C# XmlDocument?

    - by Mike
Hi everyone, Given an xml structure like this: <garage> <car>Firebird</car> <car>Altima</car> <car>Prius</car> </garage> I want to "move" the Prius node "one level up" so it appears above the Altima node. Here's the final structure I want: <garage> <car>Firebird</car> <car>Prius</car> <car>Altima</car> </garage> So given the C# code: XmlNode priusNode = GetReferenceToPriusNode() What's the best way to cause the priusNode to "move up" one place in the garage's child list? Thanks! -Mike
