  Hi I have two floating tables side by side. One is set to float left, the other one is set to float right. The problem is when two table are floating, they both are out of flow so next table comes without any spacing. So I add a width attribute clear:both. • Missing DLL Problem

  Hi everyone. I have a C++ native application that was built under VS2005 (sp1),On machine A. (Debug Mode) Now,I need to run this application on a "clean" computer, Clean means it has no VS installed on. When i copy the runtime folder from machine A to the "clean" machine and try to activate the application it demands to reinstall the application. obviously missing DLLs are causing this problem cause on machine A the app works just fine, Is there any "clean" solution for this kind of problem besides gessing which DLLs are missing ? maybe a smart tool or installer that indicates which DLLs are missing at the runtime ? • PHP Image content type problem

  Hi everybody, I have a specific problem, and cant get over it. For my latest project I need a simple PHP script that display an image according to its ID sent through URL. Here's the code: header("Content-type: image/jpeg"); $img = $_GET["img"]; echo file_get_contents("http://www.somesite.hr/images/$img"); The problem is that the image doesn't show although the browser recognizes it (i can see it in the page title), instead I get the image URL printed out. It doesn't work neither on a server with remote access allowed nor with one without. Also, nothing is printed or echoed before the header. I wonder if it is a content type error, or something else.   Hey Guys, i have a big Problem with jQuery UI Datepicker. I have two Input Fields "From Date" and "To Date". When i choose a From Date - a Daterange of only 5 Days should appear on the "To Date" Picker. I used the Code from "Russ Cam" http://stackoverflow.com/questions/330737/jquery-datepicker-2-inputs-textboxes-and-restricting-range It worked perfect. Now my Problem: I have a second Calendar which is INLINE, means no Input Fields - it's shown directly on the Page - with "From Date" and "To Date". In this Calendar the Script does not work! All Fields in "From Date" and in the "To Date" are available - no Date Range Restrictions or something else. What's wrong here? Can someone give me a hint?

Quite cruel, actually), has an accepted answer with O(n^3) complexity. The problem is equivalent to this Google Code Jam, which should be solvable for N=2000000000. It seems that the O(n^3) solution is not good enough to solve it. From looking in the solutions page, jdmetz's solution (#2) seems to be O(n log n). I don't quite understand the algorithm. • very weird problem concerning date and time in silverlight + ria services

  Hello Friends i'm facing a very weird problem in sliverlight 4 + RIA Services, or maybe it's not weird and i'm just a newbie anyway i hope someone here can help, the problem is the following i've created a function on the server side inside the domain service this function is very simple and has a line in it that adds the server current date and time to the database (it's an HR application and employees should sign in and out thrue it each from it's own pc ) Emp.TimeOut = system.DateTime.now (C# syntax) the weird part is that for some users it always adds 3 hours to the current time(exp if he signes out at 5 it shows 8) and for others it works perfectly. the server and all the stations in the company have exactly the same time settings and the same time zone, and anyway my fucntion is on the server side so it should no be realted to the users time. any ideas why this is happening ? i've bin trying to find out why for days now but with no luck

  hi to all! i am suffering with an unexpected behavior,here is problem definitation i have applications communicating on LAN via UDP protocol, i am reading the Ip and Port no from a text file, initially the Ip and Port is working nicely but after some time the Ip that is a char array is corrupted and it takes garbage values, also the file writing is effected by this i mean the values that are in ip array are also written in text file that is written by the same application, i cant understand what is the problem. sorry for weak english. thanx in advance.

• Problem with Juggernaut and transparent wmode in Adobe AIR

  Hi, I am trying to use juggernaut in Adobe AIR application, however the big issue with this is that the juggernaut flash file should have wmode parameter set to 'transparent'. This is a bit of a problem for juggernaut because it seems that it doesn't work with that parameter included. The interesting part is that it is working under Linux on all browsers and in air application, but on Windows it's working only with Safari all other browsers including the AIR application are not even connecting to the juggernaut server. So the question is, what is the cause of this and if anyone had similar problem I would be interested to hear about solutions or workarounds. Thanks, Peco

• Problem with running a program from flashdrive

  I have a USB drive with two partitions in it, one hidden and one normal. I have an application which swaps the memory and runs the flash application in hidden zone. The problem is that the application works fine on Windows 7 and when run on Win XP, it swaps the partitions but doesn't run the flash applications but just keeps running in the background. I can see it in task manager. But, when I copy the application to desktop and run, it runs with no glitch. I was facing the same problem on Win 7 too, but it was running as required when I ran it using "Run in XP mode" and then I applied a SHIM and is running since then as required. The application is built using VC++ 2008. does anyone know the solution?

• SQLite problem with some parameterized queries

  I am having some trouble using SQLite and parameterized queries with a few tables. I have noticed some queries using the "SELECT * FROM Table WHERE row=?" are returning 1 row when there should be more rows returned. If I change the parameterized query to "SELECT * FROM Table WHERE row='row'" then the correct number of rows is returned. Does anyone know why sqlite3_step would return only 1 row when using a parameterized query vs. using the same query in a traditional non-parameterized way? I am using a very thin C++ wrapper around SQLite3. I suspect there could be a problem with the wrapper, but this problem only exists on a few tables. It makes me wonder if there is something wrong with the way those tables are setup. Any advice is appreciated.

  hi as my client needs, I developed a code to login via cURl. login to www.web1.com and store cookies in cookie.txt go to www.web2.com and browse a page using that cookie.txt no problem with www.web2.com so when i want to do this with www.web3.com, the problem appears. the www.web3.com uses session and cookies itself and I have to gather and use them. it means I should have tow series of cookies, first those from www.web1.com , and second those from www.web3.com , then request the www.web3.com/somepage how I can do that?

  Hello Guyz, Presently I need to serialize one of my object which contains more my own classes object. But the problem is I dont want to save it in a file and then retrieve it into memory stream. Is there any way to directly serialize my object into stream. I used BinaryFormatter for seializing. First I used a MemoryStream directly to take serialize output but it is giving error at time of deserialization. But later when I serialize it with a file then close it and again reopen it , it works perfectly. But I want to take it direct into stream because in my program I need to do it frequently to pass it into network client. And using file repeatedly might slow down my software. Hope I clear my problem. Any Sugetion ?

• circles and triangles problem

  Hello everyone, I have an interesting problem here I've been trying to solve for the last little while: I have 3 circles on a 2D xy plane, each with the same known radius. I know the coordinates of each of the three centers (they are arbitrary and can be anywhere). What is the largest triangle that can be drawn such that each vertice of the triangle sits on a separate circle, what are the coordinates of those verticies? I've been looking at this problem for hours and asked a bunch of people but so far only one person has been able to suggest a plausible solution (though i have no way of proving it). The solution that we have come up with involves first creating a triangle about the three circle centers. Next we look at each circle individually and calculate the equation of a line that passes through the circle's center and is perpendicular to the opposite edge. We then calculate two intersection points of the circle. This is then done for the next two circles with a result of 6 points. We iterate over the 8 possible 3 point triangles that these 6 points create (the restriction is that each point of the big triangle must be on a separate circle) and find the maximum size. The results look reasonable (at least when drawn out on paper) and it passes the special case of when the centers of the circles all fall on a straight line (gives a known largest triangle). Unfortunate i have no way of proving this is correct or not. I'm wondering if anyone has encountered a problem similar to this and if so, how did you solve it? Note: I understand that this is mostly a math question and not programming, however it is going to be implemented in code and it must be optimized to run very fast and efficient. In fact, I already have the above solution in code and tested to be working, if you would like to take a look, please let me know, i chose not to post it because its all in vector form and pretty much impossible to figure out exactly what is going on (because it's been condensed to be more efficient). Lastly, yes this is for school work, though it is NOT a homework question/assignment/project. It's part of my graduate thesis (abet a very very small part, but still technically is part of it). Anyway, in continuation to this thread http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2843218/problem-configure-jboss-to-work-with-jndi2 I discovered that when running an application that is deployed on my JBoss 4.2.3.GA, when I perform: Context initialContext = new InitialContext(); Object dataSource = initialContext.lookup("java:/DefaultDS"); I get null as a return value even though DefaultDS is the default datasource that comes with Jboss installation. and generally, how come initialContext return null value? if the datasource is not found it should throw NamingException and in other case it should return real object. What can I do with null? isn't it a bad error handling of javax.naming.InitialContext ???

When i have about 50 or more records in one of my table view which is below in the stack of view controllers and if i tap the back button quickly the navigation bar on the tap changes but the view does't change. For example: if i have the search controller below in the stack and detail controller up in the stack in this case on tapping the back button quickly the navigation bar comes to the search but the view controller remains on detail page. can any one can give me cause or solution of this problem. your help will be highly appreciated.

  I am trying cache a class instance with AppFabric but it return class instance with empty members. The reason is DataContract Attribute. My class is marked with [Serializable] and [DataContract(Name = "TestClass", Namespace = "CustomNameSpace.TestClass")] attributes. Problem solving if I mark all properties with DataMember or remove DataContract attribute. But I do not want to remove DataContract attributte because of other serialization needs (such as json or something else) Or I do not want to add DataMember attribute to other classes. (a lot of) Do you have any idea to solve that problem ? Thanks.

They are for cars and similar parts (eg cam/pistons) work better than others in different combinations (eg one product will work well with another, while another combination of 2 parts may not). There are so many possible permutations, what solutions apply to this problem? So far, I feel that these are possible approaches (Where I have question marks, something tells me these are solutions but I am not 100% confident they are). Neural networks (?) Collection-based approach (selection of parts in a collection for cam, and likewise for pistons in another collection, all work well with each other) Business rules engine (?)   i'm trying to put large amount of data in a java me application for a BlackBerry mobile and i noticed that the max file size to be accepted in BlackBerry is 150 KB, by the way i'm developping the application in arabic language so i'm converting every litter to his corresponding unicode so every char gets to 6 chars so its another big problem, some ppl told me that i can write arabic as arabic letters without the need to write its unicode, by viewing the mobile form as an html page, my problem is that i dont know how to view the page as html page and what is XMLParser ?? can anyone help me to get all this together, cos i really need some serious help thank you alot Hesham
