• Can I trigger an Update Panel from a Drop Down list in a User Control

  I have a user control in a master page with two drop down lists. When the user selects an item out of either ddl, I want to load a specific user control inside an update panel on the content page. I know how to load the controls in the update panel, but I can't figure out how to get the user control to trigger the update panel. Any suggestions are very much appreciated.

We currently have 4 different build machines building different things at different times and have a bit of a headache to manually balance the load somehow.   I am using ASP.Net and jQuery + jQuery UI. Everything works fine with the jQuery on any other page, however when I create a popup window with window.open(...) jQuery seems to no longer function. I have all of the script files included on the Popup's Master page, so am not sure why it won't fire. Any Thoughts?

  From hard experience I've found it useful to occasionally save the state of my long computations to disk to start them up later if something fails. Can I do this in a distributed computation package in R (like SNOW or multicore)? It does not seem clear how this could be done since the master is collecting things from the slaves in a non-transparent way.

  To update my multiple repos, I did: git bulk fetch origin git bulk pull origin master Now it appears that some of the functionality which was working initially is not working now and so I want to revert back to previous state of my repos.
