• Where do I file bugs for the Ubuntu One music client for Android?

  I've recently started using the Ubuntu One Music streaming client for Android. From the web page it says that the android app is based on Subsonic. I want to file bugs on the app, mostly feature requests and things like that, and from looking at the screenshots, the application seems to be Subsonic preconfigured to use my U1 music collection. Is it appropriate for me to file feature requests with Subsonic, or is there a Launchpad project where we're supposed to file bugs which are then vetted and sent upstream?

• Ubuntu 12.04 + Wifi not working

  i'm having problems connecting over wireless. At the moment, I'm using wicd. It seems to get stuck on "Verifying AP association...". Without wicd I can get the connection up and ping the Net - but if I take eth0 down (ifconfig eth0 down), my wireless goes away too (same result if I unplug the wire instead). wicd is the only way I can bring eth0 back (which is the main reason I'm using it) - ifconfig eth0 and/or ifup eth0 do not re-enable the connection (I just discovered it leaves out the gateway. Adding the gateway back in re-enables the connection including wifi; I didn't want to delete the info about wicd above in case it gives someone an idea.)   I have been using ubuntu 11.10 for 1 year,today it made me surprised. When I open google chrome it just closes itself. Firstly i thought that it is just for chrome and tried Firefox : It also closes itself and one thing more : I tried desktop programs such as image viewer it also closes itself.I restarted it but there is no changing.What can do this ? is it virus or another system problem ? • Will deleting files on my computer delete them them in Ubuntu one?

  OK. So I usually save my files online and not on my computer. I am hoping to be able to set up my Ubuntu One cloud to recognise changes made to documents and add new documents when synchronising. But not delete from the cloud, files I have deleted from my computer. Does anyone know if this is possible? • Why suspend / hibernate does not work in Ubuntu 10.10? (blank screen problem)

  I've got a problem with Ubuntu 10.10 suspend / hibernation. When I try to do one of these actions, computer prepares but in the end a blank screen comes up with just a single underscore blinking. Computer becomes unresponsive to mouse/keyboard and only pressing power button on chasis restores it. Disks and coolers are working during the suspend / hibernation as if nothing happened. Can anyone give me some advice how to solve it? Thank you.

• ImagickDraw::setFont has no effect on my system; suggestions?

  Running on Ubuntu LTS 8.04, PHP 5.2.8, ImageMagick 6.6.1-5 installed from source, and Imagick 2.3.0 installed from pecl. ImageMagick's 'convert' command sets fonts properly, and ImagickDraw::setFont properly complains if an invalid path to a font has been specified. However, specifying a valid font has no effect in changing the appearance of the drawn font whatsoever. Also, specifying a valid filename that contains invalid font data fails to trigger an error. It's almost as if Imagick isn't doing anything other than verifying that the specified file exists. Any suggestions?

I'm connected to a Ubuntu server via SSH (PuTTY) and when I run this command, I expect the bash script that downloads and executes to allow user input and then echo that input.   I have been trying to run configure to prepare the make file for GTK 2,9 on a fresh Linux box (running Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx). it complained about some dependencies, including: glib-2.0 atk (1.29.2) pango (1.20) cairo (1.6) I managed to find the glib 2.22.0, downloaded the atk but did not compile yet, did not start the pango yet, but when tried to get the cairo package I didn't know where to get it from! nothing on GNU site, not on GTK site! anyone knows where to get it from?

Otherwise, you should install GRUB somewhere. Continue without installing GRUB? <Yes> <No> Apparently there is a bug in ubuntu 10.04. But this hang the system. Any ideas on how to fix this? All I wanted was to install gcc that is missing.

  i was given the task of installing jboss-5.1.0.GA on a remote ubuntu 10.4 Lts server., with all those resources out there i was able to run jboss successfully but my problem was that i wasn't able to get auto start on boot work so that jboss would be running on the server. i followed a couple of tutorials that said me create a separate user called jboss and to copy the jboss_init_Redhat.sh to the /etc/init.d/jboss (jboss home, java path ,jboss user and the binding to 0.0.0.0 is all set) and used /etc/init.d/jboss start but cant get to see the Jboss page at the Ip on a browser., but if i do a ./run.sh -b 0.0.0.0 == the servre is up ... can some body shed some light on this issue????

  Possible Duplicate: Can an agile shop every really score 12 on the Joel Test? I really like the Joel test, use it myself, and encourage my staff and interviewees to consider it carefully. However I don't think I can ever score more than 9 because a few points seem to contradict the Agile Manifesto, XP and TDD, which are the bedrocks of my world. Specifically the questions about schedule, specs, testers and quiet working conditions run counter to what we are trying to create and the values that we have adopted in being genuinely agile. I ssh to the server and start thin with command 'thin start -C config/thin.yml', following the thin.yml, port: 3000 log: log/thin.log timeout: 30 chdir: /home/byht/56platform/dev/tracker environment: production servers: 1 daemonize: true After thin starts successfully, I visit the project and it works well. Then, I close the terminal, I can also visit the pages that have been visited, but when I visit the pages that not been visited before closing ssh terminal, a "500" error appears on the page. I didn't find the error messages in the log file. I have tried start thin with nohup and sudo, but they are useless. I sign in the ubuntu server locally, then the problem disappears. But I need sign in the server to stat thin with ssh when I'm home.

D'autres existent, dotés notamment de six coeurs (ou plus), mais ils sont assez chers et plutôt destinés à des usages professionnels dans des serveurs ayant un grand nombre de charges de travail à traiter en parallèle. Plus il y a de coeurs, plus il y a de rapidité, si tant est que les programmes en face puissent tirer tout l'avantage de cette puissance. Généralement, les serveurs utilisant ce type de puces les lient ensemble en un gros cluster. AMD amène donc sur le marché un processeur encore plus puissant, doté de 12 coeurs.

  Das zweite Release von Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c ist jetzt verfügbar und zwar für alle Plattformen, auf denen auch das Vorgängerrelease genutzt werden konnte. Das gab es bei Enterprise Manager noch nie: Alle Plattformen haben die gleiche Priorität! In dem neuen Release wurde die Stabilität nochmals verbessert und einige Wünsche unserer Kunden verwirklicht. Auch einige neue Funktionalitäten, wie zum Beispiel "Java as a Service" stehen nun zur Verfügung. Neben dem Cloud Control Framework wurden auch einige Plug-Ins erneuert. Cloud Control 12.1.0.2 ist ein komplettes Release und der Download enthält alles für die Installation des OMS und Agenten. Damit kann mit der Software eine komplette Neuinstallation oder ein Upgrade von EM 10.2.0.5, 11.1 oder 12.1.0.1 (auch ohne Bundle Patch 1) vorgenommen werden.   On Ubuntu 10.10 machine Upgrade to Ubuntu 11.04 using the update manager. The upgrade fails and leaves the system in an unstable state. When I reboot the system I get a kernel panic on boot. The error points to /opt/abc/runtime/lib/libc.so.6. By researching on this I found that there is a third party software abc causes problem. It has it's own runtime(libc) library. In /lib/ directory there is a link file /lib/ld-abc.so.2 ---/opt/abc/runtime/lib/ld-linux.so.2. If we rename this file to /lib/abc.so.2 or remove this file the the upgrade is success. Here is the upgrade log of where it crashes(apt-term.log) ===== Services restarted successfully. Processing triggers for libc-bin ... ldconfig deferred processing now taking place /usr/bin/dpkg: /opt/abc/runtime/lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.11' not found (required by /usr/bin/dpkg) /usr/bin/dpkg: /opt/abc/runtime/lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.8' not found (required by /lib/libselinux.so.1) ===== Could you please let me know what would be the problem of having a run time link library file in /lib directory. Does the ubuntu upgrade check the 3rd part runtime as well?
