simple scala question about httpparser

hi all. i'm a scala newbee. i have one question. in my code ,i try to import httpparse library like this scalac -classpath /home/kula/code/201005/kookle/lib/htmlparser.jar crawler.scala and i run this code. scala main and it tell me that java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/htmlparser/Parser at FetchActor$$anonfun$act$1$$anonfun$apply$1.apply(crawler.scala:21) at FetchActor$$anonfun$act$1$$anonfun$apply$1.apply(crawler.scala:13) at scala.actors.Reaction.run(Reaction.scala:78) at scala.actors.FJTask$Wrap.run(Unknown Source) at scala.actors.FJTaskRunner.scanWhileIdling(Unknown Source) at scala.actors.FJTaskRunner.run(Unknown Source) i check the file./home/kula/code/201005/kookle/lib/htmlparser.jar and it is no problem.anyone can tell me how cause this bug?

Need better Java application deployment strategy

I have various Java Swing applications that are used by multiple users. My deployment strategy is to locate the .jar file on a network share, and users create shortcuts to that file. When the user launches an application, the file is copied to their machine and executed locally. This method allows for a single copy of the code and easy updating. The problem is that I can't update the file on the network share if any user is using the application at that time. I can't use Web Start because I don't have access to a cert for signing the jar. My current workaround is a separate application that copies the desired app to the user's local machine, launches the application, and then the launcher exits. There is a several second delay from when the launcher app exits and the user's app becomes visible. Can anyone suggest a better deployment method where I can easily update a central copy of the application, one where Windows XP won't maintain a lock on the file?

Change Iframe Content from Cached HTML?

Is there any way that I can change the content of iframe from a cached html string? I am not talking about iframe.Attribute["src"] = "url", but rather given a string of html and change the content. An ugly workaround might be saving the html into a file and change iframe src to it. Any other ways? Maybe javascript can help?

JQuery validation not working for checkbox group

I'm having trouble getting JQuery validation to work with a set of checkboxes. I'm generating the checkboxes using an ASP.NET checkboxlist, and I've used JQuery to set the 'name' attribute to the same thing for each checkbox in the list. Here's the code that gets written to the browser. I'm setting the 'validate' attribute on the 1st checkbox to set the rule that at least one checkbox must be selected. The JQuery validation works for all other elements on the form, but not for the checkbox list. How to package AIR 2 native installer?

I have made an AIR 2.0 app that uses NativeProcess so it needs to be packaged as a native installer (.exe) rather than a .air file. I first tried using Package Assistant but I kept getting an error telling me it cannot load keystore file. so I tried using the command line I use: pathToAirSDK>adt -args but I get an error telling me that "adt" is not a known command so I try: pathToAirSDK>adt.jar -args but I get a pop up telling me windows does not know how to open adt.jar files. Has anyone packaged a native installer for an AIR 2.0 app? How did you do it? edit forgot to mention I am doing this in windows using the windows command line.

quick check on use of map api (android)

When you use the Google map api, it is not part of the Android SDK, and you have to mention it in your manifest xml file. Do you have to do anything to access the jar file containing the map api code? Or is that automatically present on the device or emulator, the way the SDK code is? Do you need put the map api jar file in your class path, either when compiling or when executing? Or is it kept somewhere where it is already visible, and the requirement of an XML mention is merely to remind you of the licensing issue? Thanks, Peter

How to launch a web server and point the browser to it when it finishes?

I am writing a windows batch file to do the following things: Display a picture in the middle of the screen, showing the beautiful icon of my software. Kick of the launch of the web server. Finish displaying the picture. Point the browser to the start page. I have already know how to do it in step 2 and 4. However, I have the following questions in writing the windows batch file: 1. How do I know that the launch of the web server is finished, taking jetty as the example? 2. How do I display a picture and stop displaying it when I want to? What regular expression(s) would I use to remove escaped html from large sets of data.

Our database is filled with articles retrieved from RSS feeds. I was unsure of what data I would be getting, and how much filtering was already setup (WP-O-Matic Wordpress plugin using the SimplePie library). This plugin does some basic encoding before insertion using Wordpress's built in post insert function which also does some filtering. I've figured out most of the filters before insertion, but now I have whacko data that I need to remove. This is an example of whacko data that I have data in one field which the content I want in the front, but this part removed which is at the end: <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/SoundOnTheSound?i=xFxEpT2Add0:xFbIkwGc-fk:V_sGLiPBpWU" border="0"></img> <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/SoundOnTheSound?d=qj6IDK7rITs" border="0"></img> <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/SoundOnTheSound?i=xFxEpT2Add0:xFbIkwGc-fk:D7DqB2pKExk" Notice how some of the images are escape and some aren't. I believe this has to do with the last part being cut off so as to be unrecognizable as an html tag, which then caused it to be html endcoded. Another field has only this which is now filtered before insertion, but I have to get rid of the others: <img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2183/2289902369_1d95bcdb85.jpg" alt="post_img" width="80" (all examples are on one line, but broken up for readability) Question: What is the best way to work with the above escaped html (or portion of an html tag)? I can do it in Perl, PHP, SQL, Ruby, and even Python. I believe Perl to be the best at text parsing, so that's why I used the Perl tag. And PHP times out on large database operations, so that's pretty much out unless I wanted to do batch processing and what not. PS One of the nice things about using Wordpress's insert post function, is that if you use php's strip_tags function to strip out all html, insert post function will insert <p> at the paragraph points. Let me know if there's anything more that I can answer. Some article that didn't quite answer my questions. Problem with Eclipse and a Maven multi-module project

I have created a Maven project with the following structure: + root-project pom.xml (pom) + sub-projectA (jar) + sub-projectB (jar) I have done the following steps: mvn archetype:create –DgroupId=my.group.id –DartifactId=root-project mvn archetype:create –DgroupId=my.group.id –DartifactId=sub-projectA mvn archetype:create –DgroupId=my.group.id –DartifactId=sub-projectB So I have, obviously, in the top-level pom.xml the following elements: <modules> <module>sub-projectA</module> <module>sub-projectB</module> </modules> The last step was: mvn eclipse:clean eclipse:eclipse Now if I import the root-project in Eclipse, it seems to look at my projects as resources and not like java projects. However if I import each of child projects sub-projectA and sub-projectB, it looks them like java projects. This is a big problem for me because I have a deeper hierarchy. Any help would be appreciated!

Cannot work for 2nd iteration because of writing delay.

My code's IF-THEN does not work for 2nd iteration. This is due to, the jar processing take some time to write it result inside the output.txt. Since the writing is a bit late, my code's 2nd iteration will always read the previous written value inside the output.txt in order to pass it to the IF-THEN. For example, in 1st iteration: output.txt -- 0.9888 twrite.txt -- msg: ok 2nd iteration: output.txt -- 0.5555 twrite.txt -- msg: ok //the IF-THEN still gives this result which is based on previous iteration. it should be msg: not ok . since it is < 0.7 I need help, how to solve this 'delay' problem? Selenium Test Results are empty

I've Jenkins and selenium configured to run tests after the app is build, everything is ok till the moment that selenium tests should run, actually the selenium test suite starts correctly and then it stops after the first test and does not go forward. I'm using VNC to watch what is happening. The logs produces by selenium are empty. Im testing those test via java -jar /var/lib/selenium/selenium-server-jar -browserSessionReuse -htmlSuite *firefox https://test-a.4pm.si /var/lib/jenkins/jobs/4pm_test/workspace/4pm_ee-test/selenium_tests/suite.html /var/lib/jenkins/jobs/4pm_test/workspace/selenium-result.html the selenium-result.html is empty it just execute the first test which is OK and stops there is there any selenium server setting I need to set?

getResourceAsStream not loading resource

The project that I am currently working on utilizes an old application contained within a .jar file. One of the responsibilities of this application is that it updates the database when changes to the configuration files are made. Every time I try to run this file (which is a simple Ant Task extension), I get an exception thrown early in the process. I decompiled the Java file responsible, and found that the exception being thrown happens here. I do not know what the issue is, as "hibernate.cfg.xml" is contained within the same .jar file as the .class throwing the exception. ClassLoader loader = Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader(); InputStream in = loader.getResourceAsStream("hibernate.cfg.xml"); if (in == null) { throw new RuntimeException("Couldn't find built in hibernate config"); } If anyone has any ideas, even pointing me in the right direction, I would be grateful. Of course, any solution will have to be external, as the client already has this build of the program in production use.

Maven downloads have .lastUpdated as extension

I am a beginner to Eclipse and maven. I have an Eclipse setup with m2eclipse and subversive. I have imported a maven2 project from svn. But I get the error message that a whole bunch of artifacts are missing (for instance: Missing artifact org.springframework:spring-test:jar:3.0.1.RELEASE:test). If I look in my repository I see the jar files there but they have an extra extension .lastUpdated. Why is maven appending .lastUpdated to the jars? And more importantly: how can I fix this? Btw there is no mention of the type lastUpdated in my POMs.

Clojure load files

I'm trying to set up a simple clojure project, and I'm not sure how to load files between the project. I'm sure that the answer is in the documentation, but I can't find a simple answer any where and I'm not sure where to look. Essentially, my directory looks like this: Clojure/ clojure/ clojure.jar other clojure files clojure-contrib/ clojure-contrib.jar other contrib files project/ main.clj utils.clj And I want main.clj to be something like this: (ns project.main (:require project.utils)) (greet) and utils.clj to be something like this: (ns project.utils) (defn greet [] (println "Hello, World!")) But that fails with: Exception in thread "main" java.io.FileNotFoundException: Could not locate project/utils__init.class or project/utils.clj on classpath: (main.clj:1) When I attempt to run it. How do you set up a simple clojure project?

JNDI Issues: Jboss 4.2.2 Spring 2.5 and hibernate ejb

I have a strange problem, that is causing me some grief. If the following jar is in my classpath: <dependency> <groupId>org.hibernate</groupId> <artifactId>org.hibernate.ejb</artifactId> <version>3.3.2.GA</version> </dependency> My JNDI lookup for my datasource returns null. Here is the basic code I am using to do the lookup: InitialDirContext ctx = new InitialDirContext(env); DataSource dataSource = (DataSource)ctx.lookup("java:dataContent"); Otherwise, the DataSource returns fine from the context. Unfortunately, I need the jar in order to avoid ClassCastExceptions within Jboss 4.2.2. Any help is appreciated.

What is the simplest way to manage dependencies of Java classes to data files present in the classpath? More specifically: How should data dependencies be annotated? Perhaps using Java annotations (e.g., @Data)? Or rather some build entries in a build script or a properties file? Is there build tool that integrates and evaluates such information (Ant, Scons, ...)? Do you have examples? Consider the following scenario: A few lines of Ant create a Jar from my sources that includes everything found on the classpath. Then jarjar is used to remove all .class files that are not necessary to execute, say, class Foo. The problem is that all the data files that class Bar depends upon are still there in the Jar. The ideal deployment script, however, would recognize that the data files on which only class Bar depends can be removed while data files on which class Foo depends must be retained. Any hints?

Is there any way I can save all the things that is happening on my Windows 7 Command Prompt in a file. So that I can see what are the things that got printed on the console. Debug a local maven dependency with eclipse

i have two maven projects, the first one is a library and the other one use it to works properly, the both have to elvolve regardless each other, this is why i use two different project. But breakpoints on my library code doesn't work when i launch my app (the second application).
