I have two hyperlinks on a page. I'm happy with the css on 'link1' (white text / red rollover) however I want to have a different styling for 'link2'.
I've created a seperate css for this section and have managed to colour it green but I can't get rid of the red rollover effect?
Does anyone know how to override the red rollover effect just on 'link2'?

I'm trying to change the default color for the options menu which is white. I want a black background for every item on the options menu. I've tried some shoots like android:itemBackground="#000000" on the item element within the menu element but it doesn't work.
I don't know if this is doable or not. Any idea would be welcome! :)
When I set style color it changes both the text color for the selected item/component label and the text in the dropdown menu.
color
Type: uint Format: Color CSS Inheritance: yes
Color of text in the component, including the component label. The default value is 0x0B333C.
I would really like the label to be white and the text to be black. Is it possible?
I have a sprite that I'm using for rounded corners. The left corner sits on top of a gradient background, but the right corner sits on a white background. I don't want to have to put the images on the page as I'd rather have them in a sprite and just move the placement through the background property.
Will something like pngfix not work if the png is not in the markup?
I'm spending a lot of time programming and as I'm right now quite late with my work I need to work harder than usual.
I find the combination of white background and black font not so good. But it seems I can't find the proper one.
What do you use folks?
Thank you!
I need a lightbox plugin that is styled similar to FancyBox but will allow me to add text to the same white background as the image. Lightweight because I don't want many features as it's going to be added to an already heavy JS page. Preferably without Ajax features as I'll be handling this myself.
Therefore I'm ruling out the use of Thickbox, Fancybox and jQuery UI.
Basically I want the plugin to be a currently supported light-box jQuery plug-in that handles all the cross browser styling issues which I can then customise.
Getting started with ImageMagic and trying to find a way to do this... If an image is less than 50 pixels tall or 50 pixels wide, I'd like to place it (un-scaled) in the horizontal/vertical center of a new 50x50 pixel canvas on top of a white background - and save that as the new image. Anyone know if this is possible with ImageMagick? Thanks!
hi,
can I hide the borders of the checkbox ? I would like it completely white, just the text should be visible.
And I need a solution for all browsers.

Hello,
when my user enters data validated as wrong a red circle with a white exclamation mark is shown in the right part of the textbox with the wrong data. The error message is only shown when the user hovers the textbox with wrong data.
Do you think that is a bad User experience ?
I could show the red error message text to the right side of the textboxes if there would still be space...
I have a font resize function on my page which increases the font size via javascript for the entire page.
This works fine in most browsers except IE. When decreasing the font size after increasing it, the select boxes new height does not decrease, even though the font size is decreasing on it. Instead the smaller font appears to be padded with white space.
Any ideas as to what IE is doing here, and a work around?
I am currently developing this site: tochat.vn
As viewing in Firefox 7.0.1, it has annoying white border at top of the page. I have been trying to remove the border in many ways, but nothing really works.
Actually, there are 2 things I noticed,
when I removed "margin: 0" on body tag (on reset.css)
OR when I removed the "fixed" value of background-attachment of the "body" class (on style.css)
the border disappeared.
But I can't remove these attributes :(
Any suggestion?
I'm trying to build a voip application on a new android device, i use AudioRecorder to read the microphone but I'm getting no valid results, just white noise.
This happen only on this new device(other work well) and this is probably because this device has PTT ability.
Is there some workaround to avoid using AudioRecoder to receive streaming data from the microphone?
Thanks.

I'm using theExpression Dark WPF Theme(http://wpfthemes.codeplex.com/) with a ListView(view property set to a GridView) to display some user data like the following :
<ListView
Grid.Row="1"
ItemsSource="{Binding RegisteredUsers}"
SelectedItem="{Binding SelectedUser}"
>
<ListView.View>
<GridView>
<GridViewColumn
Header="Login"
DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding Login}"
Width="60"/>
<GridViewColumn
Header="Full Name"
DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding FullName}"
Width="180"/>
<GridViewColumn
Header="Last logon"
DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding LastLogon}"
Width="120"/>
<GridViewColumn
Header="Photo"
Width="50">
<GridViewColumn.CellTemplate>
<DataTemplate>
<Image
Source="{Binding Photo}"
Width="30"
Height="35"/>
</DataTemplate>
</GridViewColumn.CellTemplate>
</GridViewColumn>
</GridView>
</ListView.View>
</ListView>
The rows have white text with a dark background and white background when selected, however the text color doesnt change when selected and it makes very difficult to read, I would like the text to have a dark color when the row is selected. I have searched for a way to style the text color but with no success, here is the control template for the ListViewItem :
<Border SnapsToDevicePixels="true" BorderBrush="{TemplateBinding BorderBrush}" BorderThickness="{TemplateBinding BorderThickness}" CornerRadius="2" x:Name="border">
<Grid Margin="2,0,2,0">
<Rectangle x:Name="Background" IsHitTestVisible="False" Opacity="0.25" Fill="{StaticResource NormalBrush}" RadiusX="1" RadiusY="1"/>
<Rectangle x:Name="HoverRectangle" IsHitTestVisible="False" Opacity="0" Fill="{StaticResource NormalBrush}" RadiusX="1" RadiusY="1"/>
<Rectangle x:Name="SelectedRectangle" IsHitTestVisible="False" Opacity="0" Fill="{StaticResource SelectedBackgroundBrush}" RadiusX="1" RadiusY="1"/>
<GridViewRowPresenter SnapsToDevicePixels="{TemplateBinding SnapsToDevicePixels}" Margin="0,2,0,2" VerticalAlignment="Stretch" />
</Grid>
</Border>
The trigger that changes the background color simply applies an animation to change the 'SelectedRectangle' opacity, but I cant change the text color on the same trigger(I tried using a setter for the foreground color on the ListViewItem, but with no success).
Does someone have a clue on that?
I am having trouble displaying a webview. I have a webview inside a custom view. I load this custom view as a subview of the window, and then have an object controller linking a text field to the content of the web view. Once a page is loaded, it loads all the content, but it is visually white. You can click on links. If you go to a Youtube video you can listen to it, but it still displays nothing.
For some odd reason, my project is generating two icons, same name, launches the same project, in the app drawer. I can't figure out what is causing this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The M in the white circle is my default icon. If you view the screenshot, you'll see it appears twice. I've checked the applications area, and it is only installed once.
I want to remove hyphens (-), slashes (/) and white space () from a string name(i) so that I can use it as a structure field name.
This is the ugly way I am currently doing it using the function strrep:
cell2mat(strrep(strrep(strrep(name(i), '-',''),'/',''),' ', ''))
I have also tried other variations, such as:
strrep(name(i),{'-','/'},{'',''});
strrep(name(i),['-','/'],['','']);
What is a more efficient way of doing this?
hi
i'm using serialize/unserialize functions in php 5.2. the text to be stored is POSTed via a form. btw, no white-space before or after. if text contains " or ' it serializes successfully. the problem is it does not unserialize back. what i'm doing wrong?
i will be printing the access report. the report will not be printed a regular white paper. it will be printed on top of a paper with checkboxes and fields on it. i need those checkboxes and fields to be printed on according to the access data.
are there any libraries for access that make this easier? is there a feature that will help to print on specific coordinates?

If I have a string
"this is a string"
How can I shorten it so that I only have one space between the words rather than multiple? (The number of white spaces is random)
"this is a string"
If i try to use to add a white space in my xslt code a question mark is displayed after it converted to html. Please help to solve this issue.
Thanks

I have a div (.header) contained within other divs. When my page loads, momentarily just that one .header div "flashes" white as the page is loading, especially in in Firefox, but a little bit in IE8 too. I can't find what kind of CSS or lack thereof is causing this - there's no images or background color associated with that div. There is a logo.png within the .header. Thoughts?
