• [GoogleMaps] Get GLatLng from GPoint

  Hello everybody, I have a google map with my own map type: var currentProjection = new GMercatorProjection(maxLevels + 1); var mapBounds = new GLatLngBounds(new GLatLng(-9, -15), new GLatLng(9, 15)); var custommap = new GMapType(tilelayers, currentProjection, "Some project"); map.addMapType(custommap); map.setCenter(mapBounds.getCenter(), minLevels, custommap); When user clicks on map then context menu appears (singlerightclick event), from context menu user can add markers and I need a GLatLng value to add marker to the map but singlerightclick event contains only GPoint value. I try to use next statement: map.getCurrentMapType().getProjection().fromPixelToLatLng(pointValueFromEvent, map.getZoom()); but it wasn't helpfull (GLatLng value is outside of my map). I think it's because I use my own map type, how can I get GLatLng value to add the marker? Best regards, Alex.

  I am using hibernate on the server side with a client application started via Java Web Start. I can't sign the jars (I'd like to but I can't). I get a permission exception when I get a POJO with lazy fields. • Animating a CALayer's mask size change

  I have a UIView subclass which uses a CAShapeLayer mask on its CALayer. The mask uses a distinct shape, with three rounded corners and a cut out rectangle in the remaining corner. When I resize my UIView using a standard animation block, the UIView itself and its CALayer resize just fine. The mask, however, is applied instantly, which leads to some drawing issues. I've tried animating the mask's resizing using a CABasicAnimation but didn't have any luck getting the resizing animated. Can I somehow achieve an animated resizing effect on the mask? Do I need to get rid of the mask, or will I have to change something about the way I currently draw the mask (using - (void)drawInContext:(CGContextRef)ctx). Cheers, Alex

  Right so i am working with hibernate gilead and gwt to persist my data on users and files of a website. my users have a list of file locations. i am using annotations to map my classes to the database. i am getting a org.hibernate.LazyInitializationException when i try to add file locations to the list that is held in the user class. this is a method below that is overridden from a external file upload servlet class that i am using. when the file uploads it calls this method. the user1 is loaded from the database elsewhere. the exception occurs at user1.getFileLocations().add(fileLocation);   Hello StackOverflowers, If I make changes to .bashrc, how do I reload it without logging out and back in? I'm embarrassed that I don't know the answer to this question, since I do a fair amount of bash scripting. I'm also couldn't decide if I should post this on ServerFault, but since I do more scripting than sysadmin, I chose StackOverflow; go ahead and move it if you (the community) feel that SF would have been a better choice. Thanks in advance. I'm sure once I hear the answer I'll be saying "doh! I knew that.", but it'll probably be good to have the answer here for other folks like me that should know (or do), but can't remember (I did search before asking, and couldn't find the answer, sorry if this is a repost). --jed

• Bug in MvcFutures LinkBuilder.BuildUrlFromExpression

  I hope this is the right place to post this. The following code fails in the latest build of the MVC futures library. This works and correctly calls my controller: Html.ActionLink<CreatePlayerController>(x => x.PlayerDetails(), "Click") This fails: LinkBuilder.BuildUrlFromExpression<CreatePlayerController>(null, Html.RouteCollection, x => x.PlayerDetails() ) The error is: System.InvalidOperationException: The IControllerFactory 'SF.Client.Website.StructureMapControllerFactory' did not return a controller for the name 'CreatePlayer'. My StructureMapControllerFactory. GetControllerInstance method is never called. Do I need to register my controller factory in some other way? It seems like the MvcFutures code is ignoring it. • Port a live system from App Engine Helper to App Engine Patch

  I am running a live system that is currently serving about 20K pages a day which is based on App Engine Helper (Python) with session support provided by AppEngine utilities. One problem that I have been having is that sessions are occasionally randomly logging out. I would like to try using the App Engine Patch, since it has "native" django session support, but I am worried that this is possibly going to be like doing a brain transplant. Specifically, current database models are all inhereted from BaseModel provided by the App Engine Helper. While, App Engine Patch does not have this inheritance. Does anyone know if it is possible to migrate a live system from App Engine Helper to App Engine Patch? If so, do you have any advice or warnings that I should heed, before attempting this transition? Thank you and kind regards Alex

  Hi there I'm writing a brush for Alex Gorbatchev's Syntax Highlighter to get highlighting for Smalltalk code. Now, consider the following Smalltalk code: aCollection do: [ :each | each shout ] I want to find the block argument ":each" and then match "each" every time it occurrs afterwards (for simplicity, let's say every occurrence an not just inside the brackets). Note that the argument can have any name, e.g. ":myArg". My attempt to match ":each": \:([\d\w]+) This seems to work. The problem is for me to match the occurrences of "each". I thought something like this could work: \:([\d\w]+)|\1 but the right hand side of the alternation seems to be treated as an independent expression, so backreferencing doesn't work. So my question is: is it even possible to accomplish what I want in a single expression? Or would I have to use the backreference within a second expression (via another function call)? Cheers.

All examples i could google always generate the key themselves, but I already have a key. I have tried keytool -import -keystore ./broker.ks -file mycert.crt but this only imports the certificate and not the key file and results in 2009-05-25 13:16:24,270 [localhost:61612] ERROR TransportConnector - Could not accept connection : No available certificate or key corresponds to the SSL cipher suites which are enabled. I have tried concatenating the cert and the key but got the same result How do I import the key?

Now, the questions: 1 - i've generated GTAGS with Gnu Global in my /usr/include, how can i check if semantic is using GTAGS? 2 - can I keep my GTAGS in another directory and instruct semantic to use that dir?? 3 - In c/c++ sources, completion on include statement (from system headers) doesn't list all available headers.   When we build web software releases, we prepare the release in a temporary directory and then replace the release directory with the temporary one just prepared: # Move and replace existing release directory. mv /path/to/httpdocs /path/to/httpdocs.before mv /path/to/$newReleaseName /path/to/httpdocs Under this scheme, it happens that with about 1 in every 15 releases, a user was using a file in the original release directory exactly at the time the commands above are run, and a fatal error occurs for that user. • Dynamically create sprite images for Cocos2d-iPhone

  Hey guys, I'm working on a platformer, and looking for a way to create a sprite for an arbitrarily sized platform. For example, I may know I have a platform that should appear 200 pixels wide by 32 pixels high, and, say, I have a texture of bricks that I can tile to fill that area. I may also want to draw a black border around the platform. Is this possible at all? Anyone have any ideas for how I might go about doing this? I could always try generating the image on the fly and building a sprite with that image, but I sincerely doubt (hope) that this isn't the most efficient way of doing something like this.   I have a Bourne Shell script that has several functions in it, and allows to be called in the following way: my.sh <func_name> <param1> <param2> Inside func_name() will be called with param1 and param2. I want to create a "help" function that would just list all available functions, even without parameters. The question: how do I get a list of all function names in a script from inside the script? The source of the configuration was net.sf.ehcache.config.generator.Configuratio nSource$DefaultConfigurationSource@15ed0f9. The diskStore path for this CacheManager will be set to C:\DOCUME~1\user5\LOCALS ~1\Temp\\ehcache_auto_created_1276682367586. To avoid this warning consider using the CacheManager factory methods to create a singleton CacheManager or specifying a separate ehcache configuration (ehcache .xml) for each CacheManager instance. What am I missing here?

So that users can add languages and edit the files easily if my translations are wrong at the moment i use ResourceBundle.getBundle("package.MessageBundle"); But i would like to do something like this ResourceBundle.getBundle("lang/MessageBundle"); Where lang is a folder under my application installation directory. is this a good idea (if not, why not)? can someone point me in the right direction, or some sample code that does this thanks Alex

  Hi guys, I am trying to reproduce Process Exporer's feature to tag a process running on the current machine with a Comment (Please see the Comment section in the Process properties in Process Explorer). I couldn't find any way to do it with managed code, had a try with wmic utility but I wasn't able to find a way to set a property to an existing process. Also, searching the web returns some pretty vague responses since all the search terms are so general.. If anybody has at least a hint I will appreciate it. Alex. P.S I am using C# for the project but I am opened to use unmanaged code if that's what it takes :)

ID (integer with auto-increment) Name (varchar) The text file is a large collection of names with one name per line ... (example) John Doe Alex Smith Bob Denver I know how to import a text file via phpMyAdmin however, as far as I understand, I need to import data that has the same number of fields as the target table.   Hi, I'm trying to create a report with Jasper, but I keep getting this exception when running from my app (runs ok from IReport): net.sf.jasperreports.engine.JRException: Error preparing statement for executing the report query Here's the query I'm using: SELECT produtos.`Descricao` AS produtos_Descricao, saidas.`Quantidade` AS saidas_Quantidade, saidas.`Data` AS saidas_Data, motivossaidas.`Motivo` AS motivossaidas_Motivo FROM `produtos` produtos INNER JOIN `saidas` saidas ON produtos.`Id` = saidas.`Id_Produto` INNER JOIN `motivossaidas` motivossaidas ON saidas.`Id_MotivoSaida` = motivossaidas.`id` WHERE motivossaidas.`motivo` = $P{MOTIVO} and the parameter definition: <parameter name="MOTIVO" class="java.lang.String"/> The exception occurs when I do JasperPrint jasperPrint = JasperFillManager.fillReport(relatorio, parametros); where relatorio is a JasperReport object loaded with JRLoader.loadObject(URL) and parametros is a HashMap with the following key/values: REPORT_CONNECTION = MySQL JDBC connection, MOTIVO = "Venda" I really don't know what to do here. I keep getting the exception event if I use a query without any parameters. Why do I get this exception? What should I do here? Thanks!
