    I have two classes X and Y, like this: class X implements Serializable { int val1; Y val2; } class Y implements Serializable { int val; } I want to transmit an object of type X from a client to server but i can't because the class X has a field of type Y. I replaced the field of type Y with a field of type X in class X and it works.

  • How to create a lookup column that targets a Doc Lib and uses the 'Name' of the document?

    How do you create a lookup column to a Document Library that uses the 'Name' of the document as the lookup value? I found a blog post that recommends adding another custom field like "FileName" and then using a item reciever to populate the custom field with the value from the Name field but that seems cheesy.   • My App working fine in Samsung but acting weird in HTC Desire S?

    I have created an app demo app using cordova2.7 the app only contains a search box and two buttons in header and the same in the content field. When run the app in Emulator its working fine and then i tried to run it in Samsung mobile its working fine but when i tried to run it in HTC Desire S when i try to enter character to search element its dispalys some white box above the header and when i try to enter the character in the serach field that i have in the content field it does not show the keypad.Please refer the snapshot I have uploaded below from HTC Desire S

    I have multiple textfields on a UIView. I resign for a previous textField in textFieldShouldBeginEditing method, where following sequence of events are performed UIKeyboardWillHideNotification is received corresponding to that field where the keyboard for the previous field is hidden. the method textFieldShouldBeginEditing returns a YES and then UIKeyboardWillShowNotification is received where the keyboard for the current field is displayed. However, in OS 3.2 even though textFieldShouldBeginEditing returns a YES, UIKeyboardWillShowNotification for the current field is not received. The logic works for OS < 3.2 Any ideas where I might be doing wrong?

    I'm having some trouble with the query below. I am trying to determine if the "category" field is A, B or C and then creating a field based on the category. That field would sum up payments field. But I'm running into error saying "incorrect syntax near keyword As". I am creating this in a SQL View.   • How can I get the "Latency" of a process that has a TCP connection open?

    Hello, I am looking to get the "Latency" field of a TCP connection. I notice windows Resource Monitor has this field, and I was wondering if there was a way I can find it. Preferrably without using WMI. If you are unsure what field I am talking about, open Task Manager, goto the Performance tab and hit the Resource Monitor button. Once Resource Monitor is open, expand the TCP Connections area and you will see a Latency field. Is there anyway to access this programatically? Thanks!

  • Javascript auto calculating with (+) and (-)

    I need some help finding the error in my javascript calculation. I need to calculate the sum of my input boxes automatically and have my user be able to edit the calculation using + or - buttons. The code I have already does the calculation automatically if you manually enter the numbers, but pressing the + or - does not change the calculation.   • Solr 'text' fields not accepting wild-cards

    Hi, I am trying to search on a field declared as 'text' using the wildcard '*' but am getting mixed results. Basically, it seems to me that it's stripping off the '*' character and isn't handling numbers or spaces well. I'm using the 'text' field type for case insensitive fields but after running an analysis, am starting to think itmight be the wrong type to use as it runs a lot more filters when compared with the string field. Basically all I want is a field type that can index or search on lowercase only with spaces stripped out (and works with wildcards). Is such a type available? Thanks MARCO

  • Query with UDF works in Access but gives Undefined function in expression (Err 3085) in Excel

    I have an Access table with a date/time field. I wanted to make a composite Key field out of the date/time field and 3 other text fields in the same format as the matching Key field in another database. So I concatenated the 3 text fields and wrote a User-Defined-Function in a Module to output the date field as a string in the format "YYYYMMDD". Public Function YYYYMMDD(dteDate As Date) As String YYYYMMDD = Format(dteDate, "YYYYMMDD") End Function I can then successfully run my queries in Access and it all works fine. But when I set up some DAO code in Excel and try to run the query that works fine within Access... db.Execute "qryMake_tblValsDailyAccount" ...Excel gives me the "Undefined function in expression. (Error 3085)" error. To me this is a bug in Excel and/or Access, because the (Excel) client shouldn't need to know anything about the internal calculations that normally take place perfectly in the (Access) server when in isolation. Excel should send the querydef (name with no parameters) to the server, let the server do its work then receive the answers. Why does it need to get involved with a function internal to the server? Does anyone know a way around this?

    Hi, Assume i have a book entity with an isbn field. When entered a isbn number, i want 2 fields to be updated: title and author. My controller looks like this: def ajaxGetBook = { def book = Book.findByIsbn(params.isbn) if(book==null) book = new Book() render book as JSON } So my call works, and i get a full JSON Book. Now i would like to update 2 texfields by the update attribute <g:remoteField action="ajaxGetBook" update="title" name="isbn" value="${bookInstance?.book?.isbn}" paramName="isbn"/> Now the title field gets updated with the full book object, so that doesn't work. Is it possible to update field title with only the JSON book.title? Is it possible to update more fields at once? I could render book.title as JSON but that works for only one field. Thank you

    All, I'm wondering if this is a MySQL bug, but since I've seen others playing with larger numbers than this, I'm thinking I'm doing something wrong here.   • How to add indexes to MySQL tables?

    I've got a very large MySQL table with about 150,000 rows of data. Currently, when I try and run SELECT * FROM table WHERE id = '1'; the code runs fine as the ID field is the primary index. However, recently for a development in the project, I have to search the database by another field. For example SELECT * FROM table WHERE product_id = '1'; This field was not previously indexed, however, I've added it as an index but when I try to run the above query, the results is very slow. An EXPLAIN query reveals that there is no index for the product_id field when I've already added one and as a result the query takes any where from 20 minutes to 30 minutes to return a single row.     I am having a find a replace in a bunch of RTF documents, The basic pattern I need is \{(?:\\\*)?\\field\\fldlock\{\\\*\\fldinst ?MERGEFIELD ?((?:\\.*?)?[\w\[\]]+?)(?:\\.*?)?\}(?:\{\\fldrslt\})?\} However I then found out there could potentialy be a newline before each slash, so it turned in to this. \{(?:\s*\\\*)?\s*\\field\s*\\fldlock\s*\{\s*\\\*\s*\\fldinst\s*MERGEFIELD\s*((?:\\.*?)?[\w\[\]]+?(?:\s*\\.*?)?)?\s*\}(?:\s*\{\s*\\fldrslt\s*\})?\s*\} But then I hit this it fails fees totaling $\protect {\field\fldlock{\*\fldinst MERGEFIELD ENTEROUTSTANDINGVETERINARYF EES}}\plain\f0\fs24\prot Is there way have to have it match a new line anywhere in the search too without adding (?:\r?\n)? everywhere? EDIT To clear up confusion on the new lines. I need to keep the newlines in the document, I only want to remove the newlines if they are inside my match, so in the final example I posted it should replace fees totaling $\protect {\field\fldlock{\*\fldinst MERGEFIELD ENTEROUTSTANDINGVETERINARYF EES}}\plain\f0\fs24\prot with fees totaling $\protect ENTEROUTSTANDINGVETERINARYFEES\plain\f0\fs24\prot

  • Having onFocus do several things.

    So I have this input tag <input ... onFocus=...> and what I want is for a warning popup to come up if somebody clicks to write in the input field. After the person has read the warning he/she closes the popup and can continue to write in the field. I have managed to implement the popup just fine but my problem is that I lose focus on the input field when the popup comes up so the next time I click the field the popup comes back again and im back on square one. The system I work on uses php and javascript so and I cannot use anything other than that to solve the problem and my experience with both php and javascript is limited.

  • How do I prevent my table cell's textview from being editable after editing is done?

    So this is an interesting problem. I have custom tableviewcells that include a text field. When In my cellForRowAtIndexPath I have an if statement that determines whether or not the cell's text field should be editable- it looks like this: (self.isEditing) ? [infoCell.textField setEnabled:YES] : [infoCell.textField setEnabled:NO]; This actually works well - except for the issue I'm having. It makes it so that when the tableview is displayed, the rows' text field cannot be edited. When the user clicks "Edit" to put it into editing mode, then the text fields are enabled for editing. The Problem: When I am editing a field, and click "Done", it goes back to the regular tableview but the keyboard stays visible and the last cell's text field I was editing continues to be editable. What Should happen: The keyboard should go away and all the cells' text fields should no longer be editable. Any ideas about what could be going wrong? Things to look for? Thanks!

    Hi I have a model which has 2 many to many fields in it. one is a standard m2m field which does not use any through tables whereas the other is a bit more complecated and has a through table. I am using the Django forms.modelform to display and save the forms. The code I have to save the form is if form.is_valid(): f = form.save(commit=False) f.modified_by = request.user f.save() form.save_m2m() When i try to save the form I get the following error: Cannot set values on a ManyToManyField which specifies an intermediary model. I know this is happening when I do the form.save_m2m() because of the through table. What I'd liek to do is tell Django to ignore the m2m field with the through table but still save the m2m field without the through table. I can then go on to manually save the data for the through table field. Thanks

Since I want to expose it, I want an unique text-input field for all CCK Fields: is that possible ? At the moment I can only add a new filter for each CCK field. Thanks
