  • Issues loading Jquery (Galleria) script from inside an i-frame (beginner javascript?)

    Hello, first of all - I'm not entirely new to javascript, but am not fluent in it as I am with html and css, and am especially new to jQuery... so please excuse me if this questions seems easy or obvious, but after days of google I still have no solution to the problem... using jQuery 1.4.2.min, jQuery-ui-1.8.1 .... the site in question: http://homecapture.ca/sets/project_index.html The scenario: I have a tabbed menu generated from an unordered list, when a menu item is clicked it reveals an iframe which links to the page containing an image gallery. I am using jQuery UI tabs for the tabbed menu, and the galleries to which I'm linking are jQuery Galleria pages, automatically generated with Jalbum. The problem: The galleria plug-in only works normally from inside of the containing iframe in Chrome, has inconsistent behaviour in IE8 (seems to work in my local copy, but won't load properly online), and is not loaded properly in Firefox. Instead of displaying a thumbnail area and the first large image, the Galleria page shows the first thumbnail only, then when it is clicked the image it links to, but if you right-click and go Back, the iframe content shows up as a properly rendered Galleria page. Jalbum generates more script in the < head of the page in addition to linking to jquery and the galleria plug-in. All of it seems to be in charge of the gallery navigation , and I have relocated it to the < body of the page, in an effort to make it load after the parent page scripts, and together with the gallery content. At this point I am not sure what else I could do to solve the problem, without digging around in all or some of the library and pluging .js files (which I am not knowledgeable enough to do without some pointers). Has anyone dealt with a similar issue? I'm seeing some solutions for manipulating iframe content from a parent page with jQuery on here, is that what I should be researching instead? When i click on the button the MAIN.class of the jar is called and program is running in independent window(JFrame). After user is finished with the program and exits, I need to get the String of program that is generated on exit and paste it into the textbox (The String is HTML code) Is anyone else having this problem and has a solution?     Hi, I am trying to implement google map api into one of my web page which is generated by jsp document, and I am having trouble getting it work. I found some jsp taglibrary by www.lamatek.com/GoogleMaps, but it doesn't seem to work.(I mean even examples on their web site don't work) Has anyone done work on google map in jsp document? I can really use some help or advice.(It seems like jsp docuemnt and javascript just don't get along) p.s I can get static google map work, but that's not my client wants.

  • Regular - Take all numeric characters following a text character

    Given a string in the format: XXX999999v99 (where X is any alpha character and v is any numeric character and v is a literal v character) how can I get a regex to match the numeric chatacters following the v? So far I've got 'v\d\d' which includes the v but ideally I'd like just the numeric part. As an aside does anyone know of a tool in which you can specify a string to match and have the regex generated? Modifying an existing regex is one thing but I find starting from scratch painful!

  • is there difference between debug and release reference path while compiling?

    I am building a SL3 + RIA application in VS2008. When compiled the application in debug mode it compiles fine with out any error, but when I compile the same application with out any code change in release mode I get an error 'The type of namespace name 'BusyIndicator' does not exist in the namespace 'System.Windows.Controls' (are you missing an assembly reference). All the errors are coming from the generated code name.g.cs Just curious anyone run into this problem.

    I have a serializable POCO called DataUnification.ClientData.ClientInfo in a .NET class library project A. It's used in a parameter for a web service defined in project B: public XmlDocument CreateNewClient(ClientInfo ci, string system) I now wish to call this web method from project C and use the original DataUnification.ClientData.ClientInfo type in the parameter. However due to the generated proxy class it has now become a different type: WebServices.ClientDataUnification.DataUnificationWebService.ClientInfo. As far as .NET is concerned these are not the same types. How can I get around this?

  • Is there any way to disable Erubis from printing "** Erubis 2.6.5" when starting the Rails environme

    I have several frequent Cron jobs that are run via Rake and the output of those jobs are e-mailed (via a MAILTO). Due to the fact that these tasks load the Rails environment (which includes Erubis) they always prints out "** Erubis 2.6.5" on startup. This means that an e-mail is always generated since Cron receives output. Is there any way to configure Erubis to cease printing this startup message to the console?

    Does ColdFusion offer a mechanism for splitting CFCs into multiple files? I am NOT talking about extension, I am talking about splitting the SAME CFC into multiple files; the same way C# allows for "partial" classes. The reason for this is because I am using T4 to generate a bunch of CFCs and I want to be able to tag functionality onto the generated CFC by doing so in another file. I want to do this in a way that doesn't violate the Open-Closed Principle.

  • how to time out an ant task

    Without writing a custom ant task is there a way to use a timeout on a regular ant target? To give some background info ... we are using the delete task to remove all contents of a given directory. Sometimes this directory is massive with lots of generated folders and files. We wanted to have that task say timeout after 5 minutes. I could not find anything online anywhere ... any ideas?
