• The specified module (mod_h264_streaming) could not be found (Apache2)?

  I'm trying to get the mod_h264_streaming to work with my Apache2 server. I downloaded a precompiled version of the mod from here. I read here that all I have to do is extract the file to my modules folder, which I did, and add LoadModule h264_streaming_module modules/mod_h264_streaming.so AddHandler h264-streaming.extensions .mp4 to the httpd.conf, which I also did. However, I get this error when I restart Apache: Syntax error on line 173 of C:/Program Files (x86)/Apache Group/Apache2/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load C:/Program Files (x86)/Apache Group/Apache2/modules/mod_h264_streaming.so into server: The specified module could not be found. Note the errors or messages above, and press the <ESC> key to exit. 26... Even though the file exists right here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Apache Group\Apache2\modules\mod_h264_streaming.so Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

AGDLP principle said that I should assign permissions on the above folders to DL-Groups. Let's say I have a G-Group of users, G-Accounting-Payable, containing users that have access to the D:\Acctg\Payable folder. The way I see it, I have two strategies: - Strategy 1 Create three DL-Groups and assign them permissions: DL-D-Acctg_T -- allowed traversal of D:\Acctg folder DL-D-Acctg-Pay_LF -- allowed listing of D:\Acctg\Payable folder contents DL-D-Acctg-Pay__RW -- allowed full permissions to the contents of D:\Acctg\Payable folder Add G-Accounting-Payable as member to all the above DL-Groups - Strategy 2 Create just one DL-Group DL-D-Acctg-Pay__RW, and assign it the proper permissions for each level of the folder.   I have a load balancer that I created an auto-scaling-group and launch-config for. I created the auto-scaling-group with a min-size of 1 and max size of 20. I have a scaledown policy: as-put-scaling-policy SBMScaleDownPolicy --auto-scaling-group SBMAutoScaleGroup --adjustment=-1 --type ChangeInCapacity --cooldown 300 Then I set up an alarm: mon-put-metric-alarm SBMLowCPUAlarm --comparison-operator LessThanThreshold --evaluation-periods 1 --metric-name CPUUtilization --namespace "AWS/EC2" --period 600 --statistic Average --threshold 35 --alarm-actions arn:aws:autoscaling:us-east-1:policystuffhere:autoScalingGroupName/SBMAutoScaleGroup:policyName/SBMScaleDownPolicy --dimensions "AutoScalingGroupName=SBMAutoScaleGroup" When average CPU usage over 10 minutes is under 35, in CloudFront the alarm shows up as "In Alarm State" but doesn't decrease the number of instances. Also, if there's only one instance running it'll spin up another to 2 even if a scale up alarm isn't hit. It seems like the default value is just set to 2 somehow. How can I change this?

  Hi, I've set up my 877W according to the configuration listed in this forum post: IPTV over Cisco 877 (It's the working configuration at the bottom of the post) Note that I have an 877W, so it also has a wireless radio. Now, I've gotten the whole setup to work, so IPTV is working, and I can access the internet via the ethernet ports. Now I'm trying to figure out how to allow access via the dot11radio interface. I've gathered that I basically need to create a bridge group, and bridge the radio to the internet VLAN. However, when I add a bridge-group 2 command to VLAN1, it seems to take down the whole internet VLAN. (The IPTV continues to work.) This makes the router itself inaccessible (I've got a laptop, so no serial) and I end up having to reboot the router. Can anyone tell me how to a) Allow wireless access to the internet (preferably with WEP, to match my old router) b) Determine what makes the router inaccessible when I add the new bridge group c) Forward the IPTV traffic onto a machine on my internet VLAN

  I need to download a particular NNTP group. I do not need to setup any crons, put group contents in /opt and other stuff. Just run <fetch-nntp> <server> <group-name> <output-dir> and be done with it without putting a lot of garbage in the system. If that <fetch-nntp> would not fetch the same messages on the second run — fine. But I can live without it. All NNTP clients that I've looked at are trying to be a NNTP server as well. Is there something simpler that is suitable for my needs?

  Alright, so I've made a user and a group using dscl as follows: dscl . -create /Users/deadline dscl . -create /Groups/deadline dscl . -append /Groups/deadline GroupMembership deadline Now I'm trying to chown things like so: mkdir /tmp/stuff chown deadline:deadline /tmp/stuff But the problem is that it sets the user and group to nobody instead of this user 'deadline'. What magic voodoo property do I need to add to the user and group to have it set the unix permissions properly? Also, why must Apple hate me and my Unix background :(

  I have launched an instance of EC2. Initially the security group I created did not have the port 80 open. I sshed and installed Apache etc, and now want to open port 80. I am using elasticfox. So I go to Security Group - [My Group name] - Grant new permission Open up the port 80(Http with TCP) for network range 0.0.0.0/0 Now my assumption is that these ports should be opened up on the instance, but the instance is not responding on the allocated IPs, public DNS entry. What should I do next?

  Is it possible to have multiple VLANs in the same subnet, with the same gateway address (TMG)? I want to avoid having many Subnets (and vNIC's in TMG) just to isolate sets of a few hosts. IP: 10.0.0.1 (TMG server) VLAN:1 ~ 3 IP: 10.0.0.11 ~ 20 (Hosts group 1) VLAN:1 IP: 10.0.0.21 ~ 30 (Hosts group 2) VLAN:2 IP: 10.0.0.31 ~ 40 (Hosts group 3) VLAN:3 Note that I don't want them to connect to each other, so ARP/inter-vlan routing (within the subnet) is not required. The gateway is running in a VM within ESXi 5, I can pass the VLans to the VM using VGT or VLan Range, but I don't know how the OS/TMG should handle them.

• Finding the most common errors in event logs using Powershell.

  I have the event logs for one of our servers locally in .evtx format. I can load the log file into PS using the command: Get-WinEvent -Path D:\Desktop\serverlogs.evtx What I would like to do is on the Message field group events where the text matches by a certain percent (say 80% the same). As we have stacktraces for errors in the details which will be the same, but we also log the client's IP, url that was accessed which will likely be different. I want to group them so that I can work out the most common errors to prioritize fixing them and as there are 25,000+ errors in the log file I would rather not do it manually. I think I can work out how to do most of this, but am not sure how I could do the 'group fields which are mostly the same' part, does powershell have anything like this built in?

Do I have to create 2 OU's and 2 policies just for this? I see I can't create a group and apply the GPO to the group and add the users to that group.   I've got some legacy code which checks that some file is read-only and readable only by it's owner, i.e. permissions set to 0400. I also need to give read-only access to this file to some other user on the system. I'm trying to set extended ACLs, but this changes 'regular' permission bits in a strange way also: $ ls -l hostkey.pem -r-------- 1 root root 0 Jun 7 23:34 hostkey.pem $ setfacl -m user:apache:r hostkey.pem $ getfacl hostkey.pem # file: hostkey.pem # owner: root # group: root user::r-- user:apache:r-- group::--- mask::r-- other::--- $ ls -l hostkey.pem -r--r-----+ 1 root root 0 Jun 7 23:34 hostkey.pem And after this the legacy code starts complaining that the file is group-readable (while it is actually not!)   Hi, We would like to have put a File Server in DataCentre to allow user to upload/download files when they are home. Since we have hundreds of users and would like to let the user to authenticate with the existing AD in our office. Basically, I will setup the IIS server to allow users to list various directories in the File Server based on their user group. For example, Group A will have list the D:\Files\A and the Group B will have list the D:\Files\B ...etc. After some initial study, I found that the PPTP based Site to Site VPN might fit our need to do the authentication part but I still don't have any idea on how to let them upload files to the server. Is there any suggestions such as any better option to do this (either authentication or upload part) or any area I need to be careful of? Thank you in advance.

  In my current LDAP schema I have an objectclass (let's call it group) that has 2 attributes that extend userpassword. Like this: attributeType ( groupAttributes:12 NAME 'groupPassword1' SUP userPassword SINGLE-VALUE ) attributeType ( groupAttributes:13 NAME 'groupPassword2' SUP userPassword SINGLE-VALUE ) group extends organisation so already has a userpassword attribute. If I use that to enter a new group using PHPLDAPAdmin it uses SSHA (by default) and encrypts/hashes the password I entered. But the passwords I entered for groupPassword1 en groupPassword2 don't get encrypted. Is there a way to make it so that those attributes are encrypted too?

  I'm working on the same directory with some friends and they access it via SSH. I added us in the same group and defined a sticky bit to keep the user:group values the same. But when a user create a file/folder, the Write attribute is not defined for the group, disabling other to write it/on it. How can I define the Umask to add the Write value for groups in the specific directory and it's subfolders ? I tried to find some help before, but I only saw helps for Fedora/CentOs, and I'm using Debian Squeeze. Thanks for your help

  Is it possible with an EyeFinity enabled card to make multiple display groups at once? I was playing with a FirePro 2460 and while a 4x1 or 2x2 display group works quite nicely, if I make a 2x1 display group and then select one of the other displays to try to make a second 2x1 display group, it disables the first one. Is there any way to circumvent this behavior and set up two separate spans on the same card? Additionally, can you set up distinct display groups if they're on different cards? I will have the opportunity to test several of these cards in one machine very shortly, but I'm curious if anyone has any experience. EDIT: I can confirm that you can make multiple spans on multiple cards (as long as they don't cross cards, obviously) (If the answers are different for FirePro/FireMV cards and Radeon cards, that is helpful and relevant knowledge - I doubt it, though.)

  I am trying to provide taskpads to few admins to operate on few tasks delegated to them at OU level.I ran into the following problem; lets say i delegated access to the admin on OU X and which is ability to modify groups such as sample group X1 , he must be able to add any users from OU X to the group X1. The issue here is while testing i found out the admin can do the above but also can add a user Y1 from the OU Y(which he doesnt have delegated permissions) to the group X1.What am i missing? how to restrict admin from adding users out of OU to the groups he has modify access to? • FTP Error 550 when trying to access a folder via symbolic link

  I'm configuring svftp on a linux machine. At the moment local users can login via ftp and they will see listened their home dir. They have write acces to it. No I want the users to write in de /var/www/ dir. Therefore I created an new group apache. Added users to the group and gave the group write access to /var/www. Via the terminal all users can write .var/www/. I created a link in the home directory to /var/www via ln -s /var/www/ /home/user/www ls gives: drwxr-xr-x 2 orangetux orangetux 4096 Jun 23 15:06 ftp lrwxrwxrwx 1 orangetux orangetux 21 Jun 23 15:00 www -> /var/www/ But when I use FTP I see the link but I cannot follow it. Error 550 which means file not found or bad access. How can I solve this, so that the users have access to /var/www via their home dir?

• powershell Read-host does not stop for input

  I thought this would be fairly basic, but i'm stuck. I have 3 lines of powershell script in which I want to collect a mailbox name from user input, then create names based on that mailbox name. (later the script proceeds to create the groups in AD, etc) my problem is that when I run all 3 of these lines by pasting them into powershell window, I don't get a change to enter the response to read-host.
