  • issue with keychain and updates from app store

    I am having a very frustrating error. I have tested for an app upgrade by first installing the previous version (1.0.1) and then running version (1.0.2). Everything worked fine. I submitted the app and then I am getting issues people are getting crashes when they upgrade. I tried doing the same thing, which is installing the 1.0.1 and then install the binary on the app store, then it crashed. However, the application checks every time it is run: the delay property seems to be ignored.   • Can I stagger UpdatePanel updates in .NET?

    I have a situation in which I select an account and I want to bring back its details. This is a single UpdatePanel round trip and its quite quick. In addition, I need to bring back some transactional information which is from a much bigger table and takes a couple of seconds for the query to come back. Ideally, I would like to put this into a second update panel and update this additional information once it has been received, but after the first update panel has updated i.e. the user sees: Change account See account details (almost instant) See transactional info (2 seconds later) The only way I can think of doing this is to use javascript to cause a SECOND postback once the account details have been retrieved to get the transaction information. Is there a better way?

  • Maintaining file permissions across SVN updates?

    I have a series of python scripts with execute permissions in Linux. They are stored in SVN. If I then run svn up to update them, the overwritten files are back to 644 - ie no execute permissions for anyone. Yes I could just script it to chmod +x * afterwards, but surely there's a way to store permissions in SVN or to maintain them when you update? Any suggestions appreciated.
