    How do you order items when you override the QueryOverride property of the Content Query Web Part? I have been given responsibility for a Web Part which extends the Content Query Web Part. The QueryOverride property of this Web Part is programmatically changed. Currently, the Web Part does not function as designed, as it does not order the items according to the appropriate field. If I add an <OrderBy> node to the QueryOverride property I get an error message along the lines of 'something wrong with the query this web part is...' and the Content Query Web Part doesn't seem to have an OrderBy property which I could use instead. The "QueryOverride property" part of this msdn article seems to suggest I should be able to add an <OrderBy> node to the QueryOverride but a number of web sites I've been reading suggest that this is not true. So, wow do you order items when you override the QueryOverride property of the Content Query Web Part?

  • IE HTTPS Ajax request image not showing up

    Hi: In IE (7 or 8) and HTTPS mode, following RESPONSE is delivered for an AJAX request. My issue is the img was NOT requested at all by IE (figured out using Fiddler), broken img is shown instead. It all works perfectly in HTTP mode in IE and other browsers no problem rendering in both mode (please don't tell me not to use IE). Any thoughts/work-arounds/suggestions?     Hello: we currently do not use asp.net controls (no web forms). The way we do is: 1 Read HTML file from disk 2 lookup database, parse tags and populate data finally, Response.Write(page.ToString()); here there is no possibility of using asp.net controls. What I am wondering is, if we use asp.net controls in those HTML files, is there way to process them during step 2? Thanks and appreciate your response.

    Hi all, I wanted to have users within my website to have their own URL like http://mysite.com/username (similar to GitHub, e.g. my account is http:// github. com/sr3d). This would help with SEO since every profile is under the same domain, as apposed to the sub-domain approach. My site is running on Rails and Nginx/Passenger. Currently I have a solution using a bunch of rewrite in the nginx.conf file, and hard-coded controller names (with namespace support as well). I can share include the nginx.conf here if you guys want to take a look. I wanted to know if there's a better way of making the URL pretty like that.     Hi! i'm doing a project, i'm not going to details but i will simplify my idea, i'm using Morse Code ( dot and dash) and i have 2 methods: convert_MorseToChar() and Convert_MorseTonum() in the convert_MorseToChar() method there is swich to compare the input from a user which will be Morse codes and mapping it to characters: private String convert_MorseToChar(ref string Ch) { switch (Ch) { Case ".-": MorsetoChar = "a" break; Case "-...": MorsetoChar = "b" break; Case "-.-.": MorsetoChar = "c" break; Case "-..": MorsetoChar = "d" break; Case ".": MorsetoChar = "e" break; } } and the other method Convert_MorseToNum(), ues the SAME combinations of Morse codes but mapping them to numbers: private String Convert_MorseToNum(ref string Ch) { switch (Ch) { Case ".-": MorsetoChar = "1" break; Case "-...": MorsetoChar = "2" break; Case "-.-.": MorsetoChar = "3" break; Case "-..": MorsetoChar = "4" break; Case ".": MorsetoChar = "5" break; } } now the senario is: there are 2 Textbox, one the user will write Morse codes in it and the other is for the output. The user will write dot "." and dash "-" from the keyboard and press Enter then the program will go to ONE of the 2 methods to convert the Morse codes. Now what tells the program where to go to convert?? my question is: I want to create mode key to swich between 2 modes: MorseTochar and MorseToNum. i want the down arrow key to act like a mode, when a user press the down arrow then it the program will be in MorseToChar mode, when ever the user input the program directly use the method convert_MorseToChar to convert to characters. and when the user press the down arrow agian, the prohram will swich to MorseToNum mode here when ever the user input as morsecode, the program will directly use the method Convert_MorseToNum() to convert to numbers.   • Finding missing symbols in libstd++ on Debian/squeeze

    I'm trying to use a pre-compiled library provided as a .so file. This file is dynamically linked against a few librairies : $ ldd /usr/local/test/lib/libtest.so linux-gate.so.1 = (0xb770d000) libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 = not found libm.so.6 = /lib/i686/cmov/libm.so.6 (0xb75e1000) libc.so.6 = /lib/i686/cmov/libc.so.6 (0xb7499000) /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0xb770e000) libgcc_s.so.1 = /lib/libgcc_s.so.1 (0xb747c000) Unfortunately, in Debian/squeeze, there is no libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.* file. Only a libstdc++.so.* file provided by the libstdc++6 package. I tried to link (using ln -s) libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 to the libstdc++.so.6 file. It does not work, a batch of symbols seems to be lacking when I'm trying to ld my .o files with this lib. /usr/local/test/lib/libtest.so: undefined reference to `__builtin_vec_delete' /usr/local/test/lib/libtest.so: undefined reference to `istrstream::istrstream(int, char const *, int)' /usr/local/test/lib/libtest.so: undefined reference to `__rtti_user' /usr/local/test/lib/libtest.so: undefined reference to `__builtin_new' /usr/local/test/lib/libtest.so: undefined reference to `istream::ignore(int, int)' What would you do ? How may I find in which lib those symbols are exported ?

  • setting up log4j for gmail, does not recognize System.setProperty("mail.smtps.port", "587")

    Hi I am trying to setup a smtpappender for log4j using gmail as the smtp host. I have read that the port number needs to be 465 or 587 (depending on tls or ssl) and that log4j for some reason doesnt allow a different port to be set inside log4j.properties configuration file. I have read that the best way of doing this would be to use System.setProperty which would change the default javaxmail port to gmail. However when I try to set the System.property entries the the default port still remains as 25 System.setProperty("mail.smtp.starttls.enable", "true"); System.setProperty("mail.smtp.port", "587"); I was wondering if someone could help me out, I am open to suggestions, I just need to smtpAppender to work for gmail, dont really care how to get it to work.     Hi, I am having issues with JSF/ADF/PPR on refreshing the page incorrectly. I have a selectManyCheckBox with 5 options in it, one of the option is 'All'.
