    I am trying to Upload & Download file to server using FTP and Download File using HTTP i am able to do this, my problem is when i am trying to show seek bar with Upload status of file using ftp then it's not showing. In this attached image Using HTTP it's showing seekbar with Network spped like this i need to display seek bar & Network sppeed in FTP. Below code i wrote for FTP to upload file into server.   • How do I show all group headers in Access 2007 reports?

    This is a question about Reports in Access 2007. I'm unsure whether the solution will involve any programming, but hopefully someone will be able to help me. I have a report which lists all records from a particular table (call it A), and groups them by their associated record in a related table (call it B). I use the 'group headers' to add the information from table-B into the report. The problem occurs when I filter the records from table-A that are shown in the report. If I filter out all table-A records that relate to a particular record (call it X) in table-B, the report no longer shows the record-X group header. As a possible workaround, I have tried to ensure that I have one empty record in table-A for each of the records in table-B. That way I can specify NOT to filter out these empty records. However, the outcome is ugly one-record-high blank spaces at the start of each group in the report. Does anyone know of an alternative solution?

    Hi All, I have 2 tables, user and userprofile. The userprofile table has a lot of fields similar to the user table. What I need to do is, on click of a button I need to copy all the fields of user table to userprofile table. UserModel AttData = UserModel[0]; DataServices.Save((UserProfile)AttData.ProfileModel.Instance); UserModel[0] contains all the data in user table. I want to copy this data to AttData.ProfileModel.Instance. How can I do that?

    In many projects, we come across various utility methods, e.g. Email validation Convert from dd/mm/yyyy to mm/dd/yyyy or other date formats I would like to know as what are the varoius common utility method that we genrally use? I know that some methods are project specific but many will be common. I searched in net to get a list of as much as possible but none I found to be very informative. Could you please help? Well I am more interested in the method behaviour and not in their implementation. If I can get the method names and what it does e.g. ConvertMMDDYYYY to ConvertDDMMYYYY it will server my purpose.   • iPhone SDK: Why is my view not lining up?

    When I run my app, for some reason the view is pushed up too far. The space it is pushed up too far appears to be the height of the status bar. ( I am using a NIB. I have verified that both MainWindow and this view has the simulated status bar checked. I'm not sure what could be wrong? Any help appreciated.

    Hello, I have a form which asks the user his or her date of birth. Its a drop down box since I use the select input type. The first drop down has Months, second has Days, the third has the Years. So the format should be Month(October), Day(25), Year(1990). In other words the months spell out the actual month and not simply the number representation of the month. However, I would like to save the Day and Year in their respective formats. How can I do this in phpMyAdmin? Should I use the DATE type? what should the value be? I just need to know how to correlate all of this in phpmyadmin, so I can save it properly. Thank you.

    I have a situation I am getting data from some external sources and is populating into the datatable. The data looks like this DATE WEEK FACTOR 3/26/2010 1 RM_GLOBAL_EQUITY 3/26/2010 1 RM_GLOBAL_GROWTH 3/26/2010 2 RM_GLOBAL_VALUE 3/26/2010 2 RM_GLOBAL_SIZE 3/26/2010 2 RM_GLOBAL_MOMENTUM 3/26/2010 3 RM_GLOBAL_HIST_BETA I have a object model like this public class FactorReturn { public int WeekNo { get; set; } public DateTime WeekDate { get; set; } public Dictionary<string, decimal> FactorCollection { get; set; } } As can be seen that the Date field is always constant. And a single(means unique) week can have multiple FACTORS. i.e. For a date(3/26/2010), for Week No. 1, there are two FACTORS(RM_GLOBAL_EQUITY and RM_GLOBAL_GROWTH). Similarly, For a date(3/26/2010), for Week No. 2, there are three FACTORS(RM_GLOBAL_VALUE , RM_GLOBAL_SIZE and RM_GLOBAL_MOMENTUM ). Now we need to populate this data into our object model. The final output will be WeekDate: 3/26/2010 WeekNo : 1 FactorCollection : RM_GLOBAL_EQUITY FactorCollection : RM_GLOBAL_GROWTH WeekNo : 2 FactorCollection : RM_GLOBAL_VALUE FactorCollection : RM_GLOBAL_SIZE FactorCollection : RM_GLOBAL_MOMENTUM WeekNo : 3 FactorCollection : RM_GLOBAL_HIST_BETA That is, overall only 1 single collection, where the Factor type will vary depending on week numbers.     Is this possible? i get weird error message when i put char as the type: inline bool operator==(const char *str1, const char *str2){ // ... } Error message: error C2803: 'operator ==' must have at least one formal parameter of class type ... which i dont understand at all. I was thinking if i could directly compare stuff like: const char *str1 = "something"; const char *str2 = "something else"; const char str3[] = "lol"; // not sure if this is same as above and then compare: if(str1 == str2){ // ... } etc. But i also want it to work with: char *str = new char[100]; and: char *str = (char *)malloc(100); I am assuming every char array i use this way would end in NULL character, so the checking should be possible, but i understand it can be unsafe etc. I just want to know if this is possible to do, and how.

  • How to find the real problem line in my code with Application Verifier ?

    I am now trying to use this Application Verifier debugging tool, but i am stuck, first of all: it breaks the program at a line that is simple variable set line (s = 1; for example) Secondly, now when i run this program under debugger, my program seems to have changed its behaviour: i am drawing image, and now one of the colors has changed o_O, all those parts of the image that i dont draw on, has changed the color to #CDCDCD when it should be #000000, and i already set the default color to zero, still it becomes to #CDCDCD. How do i make any sense to this? Here is the output AV gave me: VERIFIER STOP 00000002: pid 0x8C0: Access violation exception. 14873000 : Invalid address causing the exception 004E422C : Code address executing the invalid access 0012EB08 : Exception record 0012EB24 : Context record AVRF: Noncontinuable verifier stop 00000002 encountered. However, when I mwrite the same piece of code in Window service public partial class RiskFactoryService : ServiceBase { IRiskFactory objIRiskFactory = null; public RiskFactoryService() { InitializeComponent(); objIRiskFactory = new RiskFactoryService(); <- ERROR } /// <summary> /// Starts the service /// </summary> /// <param name="args"></param> protected override void OnStart(string[] args) { objIRiskFactory.StartService(); } /// <summary> /// Stops the service /// </summary> protected override void OnStop() { objIRiskFactory.StopService(); } } It throws error: Cannot implicitly convert type 'RiskFactoryService' to 'IRiskFactory'. An explicit conversion exists (are you missing a cast?) When I type cast to the interface type, it started working objIRiskFactory = (IRiskFactory)new RiskFactoryService(); My question is why so?
