    Hi folks, I have configured the standard "frontpage" view in order to display a list of nodes, just by displaying a field (the banner image). Unfortunately the URL /frontapge does not return the previewed template, but the same page that would get displayed before the views module was installed. Help would be much appreciated.

    When a user moves the Google map, I would like to display items in the viewing range of the user automatically. How can I efficiently and quickly display the items? I have basic understanding of calling getBounds() method every time the user moves the map, but I am not sure how I can efficiently search and get from my database the items within the lat/lng of the bounds of the current viewport. Is there easier and faster way of doing this?

  • Why do custom styled Google Maps (v3) not support marker animation (pin drop)?

    For example, I cannot combine the concepts of this simple example: link text with the concepts of this example: link text, which uses the styled V3 api. In Chrome I get an error saying that: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'DROP' of undefined And it refers to this line of code: animation: google.maps.Animation.DROP, When I replace the javascript link reference to use the version of the API from the first example, the error goes away, but I lose the custom styling. Then you remember http://super.duper.domain.example Oh. So then you think, okay, find the last period, go back a word and get everything before! Then you remember http://super.duper.domain.co.uk And you're back to square one. Anyone have any great ideas besides storing a list of all TLDs? John
