  Hi, Im making an asyncronous call from a client class to a server class. From this client class i call the method "execute", and in background the server class call the "doInBackground" method. How could i know from the client class when the "doInBackground" is finished? Should i implement an event on the server class and suscribe to it from the client one? Thanks in advance. Best Regards. • Using SimpleXMLTreeBuilder in elementtree

  I have been developing an application with django and elementtree and while deploying it to the production server i have found out it is running python 2.4. I have been able to bundle elementtree but now i am getting the error: "No module named expat; use SimpleXMLTreeBuilder instead" Unfortunately i cannot upgrade python so im stuck with what i got. How do i use SimpleXMLTreeBuilder as the parser and/or will i need to rewrite code?

• Keeping a certain row or column in an HTML table fixed

  I have huge amounts of data populating an HTML <table> having more than 200 rows and 200 columns. However, when i scroll the page horizontally or vertically to view the data, the header columns (like th for instance) go beyond the page. How can i scroll through the table and still keep the top row and leftmost column fixed so that i will always know what data im seeing.

How can I detect whether the execution is from CLI or through browser (I know it can be done by passing some arguments with the cron files but I dont have access to crontab). Is there any other way ?   Im using perl's imagemagick. i can rotate a picture, and i can crop a picture. but after rotating a picture, cropping is all messed up. it's like theres some underlying data in the picture that is damaging the crop operation. how can i crop a picture after having rotated it in imagemagick?

  Hello, Im using Collections.sort() to sort a LinkedList whose elements implements Comparable interface, so they are sorted in a natural order. In the javadoc documentation its said this method uses mergesort algorithm wich has n*log(n) performance. My question is if there is a more efficient algorithm to sort my LinkedList? The size of that list could be very high and sort will be also very frequent. Thanks!

  hi i wonder if there are some GUI softwares to administrate a svn repo? or do you actually have to log into the ubuntu server with ssh and use all the svn commands to copy the trunk to a branch, merge the data back and forth, copy to a tag, delete and so on. im using netbeans in mac. i think it's only handling the communication between a local project and the repo. not the flows between trunc, branch and tag (creating, deleting, viewing differences etc)
