• Getting values from datagrid view column to list<>

  My main form in my application has a datagrid view that can have 1 to many user selected inputs. Column 8 of this grid is for the user to input "time in minutes." I have a separate class where I have built a timer that counts down from whatever time the user specifies down to 0. What I need is to create a series of alarms that go off as the timer counts down that are triggered by the user input values in column 8 of my datagrid. I think the best way to do this is to build a list< from the values in the datagrid. I for whatever reason can't quite figure out how to get the values from the datagrid in to a list< in my other class. Hopefully I explained in a way that makes sense.

  I've created a sub class of UITableViewController named LoginViewController with the XIB file using XCode. Then I opened the XIB file with IB and set the table's style to grouped. • UIDocumentInteractionController change title of presented view

  I am using the UIDocumentInteractionController to display pdf files. My files are stored in the filesystem using encoded filenames that are not user-friendly. I do have access to a more friendly name for the file, but the file is not stored with this name (for uniqueness reasons). When I load the document into the UIDocumentInteractionController then the view displays the unfriendly 'real' filename in the titlebar. Is there any way to change the displayed title as presented by the UIDocumentInteractionController? Thanks.

  So. You know how when you click a post in the Google+ app, the entire View becomes blue. I want to do that as well, but with an ImageView. I have the following code snippet, setting the actual image as the background and the selector as the main resource. This looks good, but doesn't respect scaleType for the background image: <ImageView android:id="@+id/painting_image" android:layout_width="match_parent" android:layout_height="200dp" android:background="@drawable/img" android:src="@drawable/selector" android:scaleType="centerCrop" /> By the way, @drawable/selector is just a selector that shows a tranparent color for state_pressed: <item android:state_pressed="true"> <shape xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"> <solid android:color="#44521400" /> </shape></item> How can I make this work while respecting the scaleType?

• Rotate view of PDF on a WinForm

  I have to display a PDF inside a winform (c# on .net 2.0 framework). For now, I am using the ActiveX PDF control provided by Adobe. I have to disable the entire control so that a user can't print or save via right-click or hotkeys. Unfortunately, many of the documents need to be rotated (just viewed, not permanently saved that way). I'd like to allow them to rotate the view by pressing a button control. I've tried enabling the control then programmatically sending the hotkeys (ctrl shift +) using SendKeys and SendInput but the timing issues make this a non-viable solution. I've asked on the proper Adobe boards and they said it was not possible being that all of my clients will only have the reader version installed.

• jQuery changing css on navigation when div # scrolls into view

  I'm looking to recreate the effect used on this site: http://www.brizk.com/ The site uses one large page that scrolls down. As you scroll down and pass different sections the menu navigation on the left changes css class to "current" as the corresponding div comes into view. I presume this can be done with jQuery using $(window).height(); I'm fairly new to jQuery and what I want to write is something like this (in laymans terms): Get height of browser window – if div#content1 is 100px from top and/or 200px from bottom change menu a#link1 to '.current' – else remove .current from all menu a links ... and repeat for 4 different content divs. Can anyone point me in the right direction..? Thanks.

• Filter Empty Directories in Package Explorer View

  Is there a way in eclipse to filter/hide empty directory trees in the package explorer view? This is different than filtering directories like '.svn' or maven's target, or filtering empty packages. It's more trying to clean up empty directories trees that show up as a result of filter rules. Context- We have a generic project in our workspace that uses filters to ignore non text based files(mp3s, jpgs, etc). It allows us to quickly edit our files in eclipse. The problem is because of the filters there are a lot of empty folders present. If eclipse can ignore any empty folders due to filters it would make the project cleaner.

In all tutorials I saw, there are some simple examples like public void LoadList(IEnumerable<String> data) where there is no need reference to model. But how i.e DataGridView can publish current row data?

• iPhone Application crashing upon loading a new Detail View

  Hi, My problem is when trying to load a detail view through a table cell, the application constantly crashes. The error that comes up when running through debug is "__TERMINATING_DUE_TO_UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION___" objc exception thrown. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. • using helper methods in a view in rails 3

  Hello everyone, there is something that is disturbing me a bit about rails 3. i am trying to upgrade my application from rails 2 to rails 3. i followed all the steps necessary to do and things were working well for me till now except one thing: i have a helper method that is defined differently in different helpers, for example it is defined in the application_helper in one way and the same method defined in a different way in the homepage_helper, and defined differently in another helper, let's say video_helper, in addition to that, it is used in a shared view that is used throughout the application, now if i am in the homepage, i want this function to get called from the homepage_helper and if i am in the video page, the function must be called from the video_helper, based on the concept of convention in rails, this worked perfectly in rails 2 but in rails 3, the function is always called from the last helper, alphabetically ordered, that is in the example, video_helper. How can i fix this? Kindly advice. Appreciate all the help.

  Hi all! Hopefully you can help me with this. I've displayed an Announcement web part on a page with 20 items. I opened up SharePoint Designer 2007 and set the paging to 6 items. I've added a little bit of (OOB) functionality so that I have buttons for START, PREVIOUS, and NEXT. These work well without any problems but I'm wondering how do I get END to work? I tried using the $LastRow & $RealLastRow values supplied by the web part but those just give me the number of how many items are in the current view, not the total items in the list. Little help!

  I am making a simple navigation based application that drills down one level and show a new xib file each time. When I drill down one level my screen shows up blank. I still have the navigation controller at the top with a back button but my view dosent load.   hello, i want to make a notification function, and i need fields from 2 different models. how can i access those fields? in my notification view i wrote this data = Notices.objects.filter(last_login<date_follow) where last_login belongs to the model class User , and date_follow to Follow but it is not a proper and correct way of accessing those variables. How can i access them? I need to compare the two dates for realising the notifications that one did not see since his last login. Thanks!

  I've been trying to switch two views from two separate view controllers for a while and it never works, the simulator always crashes to the home screen.   My class inherit from UITableViewCell, i have make some custom transitions to push a new detail view when an image get selected. [UIView transitionWithView:self.masterView duration:0.5 options:UIViewAnimationOptionShowHideTransitionViews animations:^ { [self.masterView addSubview:self.detailImage]; } completion:nil]; My code works fine, the detailImage subview is shown with a transition, but this transition is not what i want exactly. What i want to perform is a simple transition from bottom to up. The list of UIViewAnimation doesn't contain such animation. Is there any way to use that transition without changing my class inheritance to UINavigationController ?

The result of which needs to be redirected to the same page.
