  • Revover original email from Sendmail log

    I have a website the contact form has been failing silently for two weeks (Wordpress + Contact form 7). Apparently updating to Contact Form 7 made the assigned email to fail [email protected], I also tested with [email protected] and it also failed until I tried with gmail and it finally worked. Apparently @telefonica.net and @me.com domains are not working with this version of the plugin, but I have to investigate the cause. I found the logs of the lost emails, but I would like to know If I can recover the sender or the content of the original messages.   • Change default profile directory per group

    Is it possible to force windows to create profiles for members of one active directory group in a different folder from members in another active directory group? The school here uses DeepFreeze to protect public computers. In a nutshell, DeepFreeze prevents all changes to a hard drive such that every time you restart the machine the disk is identical to it was at the time you froze it. This is a bit different than restoring to an image, in that it never really wrote changes to disk in a permanent way in the first place. This has a few advantages over images: faster recover times, and it's easy to thaw the machine for a few minutes to perform maintenance such as windows updates (which can even be automated). DeepFreeze also allows you to configure a "thawspace" partition, where changes are persistent across reboots. One of the weaknesses of DeepFreeze is that you end up needing to create a new profile every time you log in, unless your profile existed at the time the machine was frozen. And even then, any changes you make to your profile while working on a frozen machine are lost. As students have frequent legitimate needs to log in to our classroom machines, there is currently a lot of cleanup involved from time to time in removing their old profiles and changes, so I want to extend DeepFreeze to protect our classroom computers as well as public computers. The problem is that faculty have a real need to keep a stateful profile locally on these classroom computers. The solution I would like to use is to configure Windows via group policy (or even manually, if that's the way I'll have to do it) to place profile folders on the thawspace partition, but only for members of the faculty security group. Is this possible?

  • IIS7.5 - about app pool ID's and folder read/write access

    I did some searching and it looks like for each app pool, there should be an account created called IIS APPPOOL\AppPoolName - however i can see no such account when i try to modify the permissions on a folder to give that app write access. The closest I have found is the IIS_IUSRS group. Now, if i go into that group and look at the members, i see several IIS APPPOOL\PoolName members. But where are these members coming from? Why don't they show up under the users? And why can't i add a specific one to a folder? It doesn't make sense to me to add the IIS_IUSRS group to a folder since they gives every site access to the folder. To be more specific, I'm setting up wordpress and it unfortunately wants write access to the root folder. So i want to restrict it as much a possible. I was trying to figure out how to set it so that the WP root folder has write access only for the ID that the blog's app pool is running under. When i drill down into the IIS_IUSRS group, i do not see the app pool for the blog listed there. The settings for the blog's app pool are: No managed code, Classic, ApplicationPoolIdentity, and it's named 'blog' So any explanations regarding these users that are created for the app pools, and why the blog doesn't seem to belong to the iusrs group? thanks

  • .htaccess issue on Apache Web Server in Ubuntu VM

    I just installed Apache Web Server on Ubuntu 11.04 in VMWare Workstation. I created a basic HTML page, named it index.html and placed it in /var/www directory (document root). I am able to access this web page from my Host OS (Windows 7), by pointing the browser to: http://192.168.2.2/index.html where, 192.168.2.2 is the IP Address of the Ubuntu VM. Next, to test various configurations of .htaccess files, I created a new directory in /var/www called, members. Inside this directory, I created and placed a .htaccess file with the following configuration: AuthUserFile /www/Neon/auth/.htpasswd AuthName "neon's home" AuthType Basic require valid-user IndexIgnore */* I created a directory path like /var/www/Neon/auth/ and then placed a .htpasswd file inside it. To place the username and hash inside the .htpasswd file: I created a username "neon" and calculated the DES hash of a password and placed it inside .htpasswd file in format: username:hash Now, when I try to access the web page: http://192.168.2.2/members/ It does not prompt me to enter the username and password with a popup box. Instead it just displays the index.html which is placed inside members directory. I would like to get this configuration working :)

    ok so ive had a 4x2TB(samsung HD204UI w/firmware patch) raid5 array working normally for about a month. It was in a h57 gigabyte motherboard using the intel raid with Windows 7 x64. Today I got an intel h67 motherboard, so I upgraded the intel raid drivers to 10.1.0.1008 from 9.6.0.1014, and I'm not sure if i checked after a reboot, but it caused no problems. I swapped in the new dh67 motherboard, and my array status was "failed". 2 of the 4 drives listed themselves as members, while the other two drives listed themselves as non-members. I tried going back to the old h57 mobo, and downgrading the raid drivers, but the issue remains. It's not port dependent, 2 of the drives always come up as non-members regardless of what port or motherboard they are plugged into. This screenshot should show that the SNs match, which raises the question why the software doesn't realize the drive is a member of the array. I'd like to know if anyone has experienced anything similar, and what should I do, can I force the drive to be recognized as a member (without wiping data)?

  • apache htaccess rewrite rules make redirection loop

    Hi guys, Have a very strange problem with Apache .htaccess URL Rewriting and Redirection. Here's my setup: I have a zend application with a single point of entry (index.php) directly under my apache document root (call this the "public" folder). I also have all other public files (images, js, css, etc.) under the public folder. Here, I also have a wordpress blog under the "blog" folder. There's an empty test folder too The Problem When I go to mydomain.com/blog, I get redirected to http://www.theredpin.com/blog (correctly), then to http://www.theredpin.com/blog/ (just with an extra / at end), finally to http://theredpin.com/blog/ -- and we're back where we started. The loop continues. What I don't understand is why would wordpress try to remove the www? I'm guessing it's wordpress because my empty test folder acts just fine! PLEASE HELP. I"M REALLY DESPERATE :( Thank you very much Other things that happen: When I go to mydomain.com, i correctly get redirected to www.mydomain.com When I go to www.mydomain.com, i correctly stay where I am When I go to www.mydomain.com/test or mydomain.com/test, behaviour is correct. Setup So my .htaccess file does the following: If there's no www., then add it and do a 301 redirect.     Hello everybody. On my wordpress website one little thing doesn't work. Sometimes the Webserver adds the port number 16080 in the URL, which leads to an error (network timeout). Wrong: http://www.example.com:16080/about-us/weekly-program/?month=may&yr=2010 Correct: http://www.example.com/about-us/weekly-program/?month=may&yr=2010 Has someone a "Server port 16080 problem fix"?   • C# XMLRPC Multi Threaded newPost something is not right

    I recently decided to get my feet wet with c# multi threading and my progress was good until now. My program uses XML-RPC to create new posts on wordpress. When I run my app on the localhost everything works fine and i successfully able to create new posts on wordpress using a multi threaded approach. However when I try to do the same with a wordpress installed on a remote server , new posts won't appear, so when i go to see all posts, the total number of posts remains unchanged. Another thing to note is the function that creates a new post does return the ID of a supposedly created posts. But as I mentioned previously the new posts are not visible when I try to access them in admin menu. Since I'm new to the multithreading I was hoping some of you guys can help me and check if I'm doing anything wrong.   • My PHP code is commented out

    Before everything happened, I was running this wordpress install for developing themes using xampp. But I decided to upgrade the memory of this machine from 2GB to 6GB since I need extra room for applications. I back-up my code in a separate partition by copying them. Since I have a 32bit OS at the time, I format the computer and installed a 64bit version. All is well and fine the OS side. When I setup my web dev environment something goes wrong. When I imported my htdocs back, first by just fully copying them to a new fresh install of xampp and notice that all of the codes that put are not working. My CI code is displaying my PHP code in the browser. My theme in wordpress is also commenting out my PHP code when I view the source. The themes included in my fresh wordpress install works so there's something I am missing here. From the looks of it, the php is being executed properly since anything that I install works. Just that the ones that came from a previous xampp is not.

  • Jquery failure after site went live

    I have been designing a site for weeks using JQuery. I don't have a local server or a testing server so I just created a directory through FTP, '/testing'. Everything was working great in the testing directory. I attempted to go live tonight by moving all the files in '/testing' to the root directory and I changed all file paths and script sources accordingly. The site loads, but everything related to JQuery is non-functional. Javascript console gives errors of (just as an example from a plugin): '$.os.name' is not a function I'm at loss for what to do. I changed the paths referencing the JQuery library, installed a fresh copy of JQuery (to a new directory), etc. There is a wordpress installation in a different directory '/blog'. I've read about some compatibility issues with wordpress, but that seems to be related to using JQuery inside wordpress, which I am not. I'm not sure if any code would be beneficial since it was all functional in a different directory. Your help is greatly appreciated.

    What am I trying to do: export data to csv. I have a form which allows user to select the format (from a drop down menu). So based on the selection of the format the ouput is displayed using a ajax call. Works fine for html but when I select the format as csv I don't see any pop up on the screen (asking to save or open the file) and neither any file gets downloaded directly. I tried using Fastercsv (but the problem is that I don't see any pop up asking me whether I want to save or open the file) and CSV::Writer where I get this error message on the console.   • WPF-Prism CanExecute method not being called

    I am coding a simple login UserControl with two TextBoxes (Username and Password) and a Login button. I want the Login button to be enabled only when the username and password fields are filled in. I am using Prism and MVVM. The LoginViewModel contains a property called LoginCommand that is bound to the Login button. I have a CanLoginExecute() method in my ViewModel but it fires only when the application comes up and then never again. So the Login button is never enabled. What am I missing?   • JSP/Servlet CRUD form with special input field based on join table relationship

    There's database with a bunch of tables that are joined with join tables. E.g. Members and Division are joined with MembersDivisions table. JSP/Servlet login functionality has been developed, but now the CRUD functionality needs to be implemented and I was unable to find any tutorials about it, especially involving the join table(when creating new division you can add members to it, or add more to the existing one). Maybe someone could, theoretically, explain how to do the Division part of the CRUD web form?

There is no offset in this case. So is there a better solution to get a pointer to the data? For the FAnotherClass member, the Instance would be: FInstance := Parent.Value.AsObject; So far the solution works, and data manipulation can be done by using rtti or the original types, without losing information. But things get harder, when working with arrays. Especially the second array of Points. How can I get the instance for the members of points in this case?

    Hi, suppose I have a class with many explicit (statically allocated) members and few pointers that are allocated dynamically. When I declare a copy constructor in witch I make a deep copy of manually allocated members, I wouldn't like to copy each statically allocated member explicite. How can I use implicit (default) copy constructor functionality in explicit copy constructor?
