  • InfoPath: How to display a third column of a datasource?

    - by Michael Bray
I have an InfoPath 2007 browser-enabled form that has a datasource with three columns, let's say columns A, B, and C. I have a dropdown that is keyed to column A and displays column B. Column C contains some data that I want to display in an expression box, and that I also want to use in some data validation against another field on the form. I'm looking for some help on how to reference that column C for displaying and use in validation. Thanks!

  • How to style forms in the Zend framework?

    - by user505988
Hi, I really like the idea of putting forms into a seperate class that manages validation etc, but I don't like everything ending up in a DL and also not being able to use square bracket notation in post elements like <input type='checkbox' name='data[]'>. Is there another way of generating forms - like in views so I can style them the way I want, but also keeping the validation aspect? Also how would I load this view into my current view (using partial view somehow?)

  • php+jquery+captcha, is this is the correct way?

    - by user354051
I am using combination of php+jQuery for captcha validation and later sending mails and do other stuff. The pseudo code is something like this: captcha_code = jQuery.post(.....execute captcha script and get status) if(captcha_code == "correct"){ send_mail_using_php_script; } Now I have no idea whether spammers can directly execute the "send_mail_using_php_script". Do they? If yes, then shall I move captcha validation in send_mail_using_php_script to make it more safer? Is there any other safer method? Prashant

  • XML Serialization in C# without XML attribute nodes

    - by Alex Marshall
Hello, I have an XML document format from a legacy system that I have to support in a future application. I want to be able to both serialize and deserialize the XML between XML and C# objects, however, using the objects generated by xsd.exe, the C# serialization includes the xmlns:xsi..., xsi:... etc XML attributes on the root element of the document that gets generated. Is there anyway to disable this so that absolutely no XML attribute nodes get put out in the resulting XML ? The XML document should be elements only. Duplicate? XmlSerializer: remove unnecessary xsi and xsd namespaces

  • Spring rejecting bean name, no URL paths specified

    - by richever
I am trying to register an interceptor using a annotation-driven controller configuration. As far as I can tell, I've done everything correctly but when I try testing the interceptor nothing happens. After looking in the logs I found the following: 2010-04-04 20:06:18,231 DEBUG [main] support.AbstractAutowireCapableBeanFactory (AbstractAutowireCapableBeanFactory.java:452) - Finished creating instance of bean 'org.springframework.web.servlet.mvc.annotation.DefaultAnnotationHandlerMapping#0' 2010-04-04 20:06:18,515 DEBUG [main] handler.AbstractDetectingUrlHandlerMapping (AbstractDetectingUrlHandlerMapping.java:86) - Rejected bean name 'org.springframework.web.servlet.mvc.annotation.DefaultAnnotationHandlerMapping#0': no URL paths identified 2010-04-04 20:06:19,109 DEBUG [main] support.AbstractBeanFactory (AbstractBeanFactory.java:241) - Returning cached instance of singleton bean 'org.springframework.web.servlet.mvc.annotation.DefaultAnnotationHandlerMapping#0' Look at the second line of this log snippet. Is Spring rejecting the DefaultAnnotationHandlerMapping bean? And if so could this be the problem with my interceptor not working? Here is my application context: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <beans xmlns="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:p="http://www.springframework.org/schema/p" xmlns:context="http://www.springframework.org/schema/context" xmlns:mvc="http://www.springframework.org/schema/mvc" xsi:schemaLocation=" http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans/spring-beans-3.0.xsd http://www.springframework.org/schema/context http://www.springframework.org/schema/context/spring-context-3.0.xsd http://www.springframework.org/schema/mvc http://www.springframework.org/schema/mvc/spring-mvc-3.0.xsd" default-autowire="byName"> <!-- Configures the @Controller programming model --> <mvc:annotation-driven /> <!-- Scan for annotations... --> <context:component-scan base-package=" com.splash.web.controller, com.splash.web.service, com.splash.web.authentication"/> <bean id="authorizedUserInterceptor" class="com.splash.web.handler.AuthorizedUserInterceptor"/> <bean class="org.springframework.web.servlet.mvc.annotation.DefaultAnnotationHandlerMapping"> <property name="interceptors"> <list> <ref bean="authorizedUserInterceptor"/> </list> </property> </bean> Here is my interceptor: package com.splash.web.handler; import javax.servlet.http.HttpServletRequest; import javax.servlet.http.HttpServletResponse; import org.apache.log4j.Logger; import org.springframework.beans.factory.annotation.Autowired; import org.springframework.web.servlet.handler.HandlerInterceptorAdapter; public class AuthorizedUserInterceptor extends HandlerInterceptorAdapter { @Override public boolean preHandle(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response, Object handler) throws Exception { log.debug(">>> Operation intercepted..."); return true; } } Does anyone see anything wrong with this? What does the error I mentioned above actually mean and could it have any bearing on the interceptor not being called? Thanks!

  • Jboss Seam: Enabling Debug page on WebLogic 10.3.2 (11g)

    - by Markos Fragkakis
Hi all, SKIP TO UPDATE 3 I want to enable the Seam debug page on Weblogic 10.3.2 (11g). So, I have done the following: I have the jboss-seam and jboss-seam-debug jars as dependency in both my ejb and web maven projects (both are modules of my superproject) I put this context parameter in my web.xml: <context-param> <param-name>org.jboss.seam.core.init.debug</param-name> <param-value>true</param-value> </context-param> Now, when I hit the URL of my application, I get the debug page with this exception (full stacktrace at the end of the post): Caused by java.lang.IllegalStateException with message: "No phase id bound to current thread (make sure you do not have two SeamPhaseListener instances installed)" From posts I read it seems that this is somehow related to two jars of jboss-seam or jboss-seam-debug being in the classpath. I opened my ear file and only one of each is present (in the ear) whereas the war itself has no libraries in the WEB-INF/lib. I have also read of another way to initialize debug page using the components.xml. I also tried to include the following components.xml in the WEB-INF, but it didn't work either: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <components xmlns="http://jboss.com/products/seam/components" xmlns:core="http://jboss.com/products/seam/core" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation=" http://jboss.com/products/seam/core http://jboss.com/products/seam/core-2.2.xsd http://jboss.com/products/seam/components http://jboss.com/products/seam/components-2.2.xsd"> <core:init debug="true"/> </components> Any suggestions on what to do to enable the debug page correctly? Cheers! They have an outer EAR project containing the inner WAR project. They discuss that this may be related to how jars end up in the projects. I use Maven, and I had set it to create "Skinny Wars", that is excluding all jar dependencies from the inner WAR project, so that it remains small in size. All its dependencies are contained in the EAR and are used by all other modules. I changed the settings of the maven-war-plugin to leave inside the war the web-specific jars (the ones mentioned in the link, like RichFaces, jboss-seam-debug, Facelets etc). However, the problem has reverted to its previous form. I now get the debug page, whatever link I press, with the initial exception. Caused by java.lang.IllegalStateException with message: "No phase id bound to current thread (make sure you do not have two SeamPhaseListener instances installed)" UPDATE 3: The structure of the application .ear is the following: application.ear |--> APP-INF | |--> classes |--> lib (all jar dependencies go here, including the WAR dependencies, EJB module dependencies) |-->META_INF | |--> application.xml | |--> data-sources.xml | |--> MANIFEST.MF | |--> weblogic.xml | |--> weblogic-application.xml |--> jboss-seam-2.2.0.GA.jar |--> myEjbModule1.jar |--> myEjbModule2.jar |--> myEjbModule3.jar |--> myEjbModule4.jar |--> myWar.war (NO libraries in WEB-INF/lib, finds everything in EAR/lib) When deploying .ear application WITHOUT debug enabled (not including the jboss-seam-debug.jar in the ear), the application is loaded correctly. When deploying WITH jboss-seam-debug.jar in the EAR (EAR/lib directory), the application does not appear, but ONLY the debug page with the following exception (stacktrace at the end): Exception during request processing: Caused by java.lang.IllegalStateException with message: "No phase id bound to current thread (make sure you do not have two SeamPhaseListener instances installed)" When "JBoss-izing" the same EAR (remove hibernate jars, which are provided by JBoss, and move all libraries from EAR/lib to EAR root), the application loads correctly. BOTH the application AND the debug page appear correctly. I get this error: No endpoint mapping found for [SaajSoapMessage {http://mycompany/coolservice/specs}ChangePerson] Following is my ws config file: <bean class="org.springframework.ws.server.endpoint.mapping.PayloadRootAnnotationMethodEndpointMapping"> <description>An endpoint mapping strategy that looks for @Endpoint and @PayloadRoot annotations.</description> </bean> <bean class="org.springframework.ws.server.endpoint.adapter.MarshallingMethodEndpointAdapter"> <description>Enables the MessageDispatchServlet to invoke methods requiring OXM marshalling.</description> <constructor-arg ref="marshaller"/> </bean> <bean id="marshaller" class="org.springframework.oxm.jaxb.Jaxb2Marshaller"> <property name="contextPaths"> <list> <value>org.company.xml.persons</value> <value>org.company.xml.person_allextensions</value> <value>generated</value> </list> </property> </bean> <bean id="persons" class="com.easy95.springws.wsdl.wsdl11.MultiPrefixWSDL11Definition"> <property name="schemaCollection" ref="schemaCollection"/> <property name="portTypeName" value="persons"/> <property name="locationUri" value="/ws/personnelService/"/> <property name="targetNamespace" value="http://mycompany/coolservice/specs/definitions"/> </bean> <bean id="schemaCollection" class="org.springframework.xml.xsd.commons.CommonsXsdSchemaCollection"> <property name="xsds"> <list> <value>/DataContract/Person-AllExtensions.xsd</value> <value>/DataContract/Person.xsd</value> </list> </property> <property name="inline" value="true"/> </bean> I have then the following files: public interface MarshallingPersonService { public final static String NAMESPACE = "http://mycompany/coolservice/specs"; public final static String CHANGE_PERSON = "ChangePerson"; public RespondPersonType changeEquipment(ChangePersonType request); } and @Endpoint public class PersonEndPoint implements MarshallingPersonService { @PayloadRoot(localPart=CHANGE_PERSON, namespace=NAMESPACE) public RespondPersonType changePerson(ChangePersonType request) { System.out.println("Received a request, is request null? " + (request == null ? "yes" : "no")); return null; } } I am pretty much new to WebServices, and not very comfortable with annotations. I am following a tutorial on setting up jaxb marshaller in springws. I would rather use xml mappings than annotations, although for now I am getting the error message.

  • Exception when deploying a JSR 286 portlet into WebLogic+WebCenter 11g

    - by Rambaldi
I get the following exception when deploying a JSR 286 portlet into Oracle WebLogic Server 11g (to deploy it later in Oracle WebCenter 11g): <19-ene-2010 13H32' CET> <Error> <oracle.portlet.server.containerimpl.PortletApplicationImpl> <BEA-000000> <Error al procesar el archivo "/WEB-INF/portlet.xml" en la lÝnea 6 columna 68. org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'portlet-app' The error message is in spanish. It means: "Error processing the file "/WEB-INF/portlet.xml at line 6 column 68" The portlet.xml of my portlet seems to be correct and I've deployed it in other portal servers. So I don't understand the error message. This is the portlet.xml of my portlet (eclipse XML validator said it was a valid XML) <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <portlet-app version="2.0" xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/portlet/portlet-app_2_0.xsd" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/portlet/portlet-app_2_0.xsd http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/portlet/portlet-app_2_0.xsd" xmlns:dnd="http://www.denodo.com/widget/portlet/portletjsr286"> <portlet> <description>Test Inter Portlet Communication (JSR286)</description> <portlet-name>Test IPC</portlet-name> <display-name>Test IPC</display-name> <portlet-class>com.denodo.ipc.TestIPCPortlet</portlet-class> <supports> <mime-type>text/html</mime-type> <portlet-mode>VIEW</portlet-mode> </supports> <supported-locale>en</supported-locale> <resource-bundle>PortletMessages</resource-bundle> <portlet-info> <title>Test IPC</title> <short-title>Test IPC</short-title> <keywords>Test IPC,Denodo</keywords> </portlet-info> </portlet> </portlet-app> How do I deploy my portlet I convert my portlet into to a WSRP portlet by executing java -jar wsrp-predeploy.jar source EAR target EAR as explained in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/webcenter.1111/e12405/wcadm_portlet_prod.htm#CHDECJHI) I try to deploy it into WebLogic with the WebLogic Console and I get this exception. My Environment WebCenter Suite (11.1.1.2.0) + WebLogic Server (10.3.2) downloaded from the oracle.com. Default configuration S.O: Windows XP SP3 Thanks in advance for your time.

  • XML Schema to Java Classes with XJC

    - by nevets1219
I am using xjc to generate Java classes from the XML schema and the following is an excerpt of the XSD. <xs:element name="NameInfo"> <xs:complexType> <xs:sequence> <xs:choice> <xs:element ref="UnstructuredName"/> <!-- This line --> <xs:sequence> <xs:element ref="StructuredName"/> <xs:element ref="UnstructuredName" minOccurs="0"/> <!-- and this line! --> </xs:sequence> </xs:choice> <xs:element ref="SomethingElse" minOccurs="0"/> </xs:sequence> </xs:complexType> </xs:element> For the most part the generated classes are fine but for the above block I would get something like: public List<Object> getContent() { if (content == null) { content = new ArrayList<Object>(); } return this.content; } with the following comment above it: * You are getting this "catch-all" property because of the following reason: * The field name "UnstructuredName" is used by two different parts of a schema. See: * line XXXX of file:FILE.xsd * line XXXX of file:FILE.xsd * To get rid of this property, apply a property customization to one * of both of the following declarations to change their names: * Gets the value of the content property. I have placed a comment at the end of the two line in question. At the moment, I don't think it will be easy to change the schema since this was decided between vendors and I would not want to go this route (if possible) as it will slow down progress quite a bit. I searched and have found this page, is the external customization what I want to do? I have been mostly working with the generated classes so I'm not entirely familiar with the process that generates these classes. A simple example of the "property customization" would be great! Alternative method of generating the Java classes would be fine as long as the schema can still be used.

  • SQLServer:Namespaces preventing access to query data

    - by Brian
Hi A beginners question, hopefully easily answered. I've got an xml file I want to load into SQLServer 2008 and extract the useful informaiton. I'm starting simple and just trying to extract the name (\gpx\name). The code I have is: DECLARE @x xml; SELECT @x = xCol.BulkColumn FROM OPENROWSET (BULK 'C:\Data\EM.gpx', SINGLE_BLOB) AS xCol; -- confirm the xml data is in @x select @x as XML_Data -- try and get the name of the gpx section SELECT c.value('name[1]', 'varchar(200)') as Name from @x.nodes('gpx') x(c) Below is a heavily shortened version of the xml file: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <gpx xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" version="1.0" creator="Groundspeak Pocket Query" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/0 http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/0/gpx.xsd http://www.groundspeak.com/cache/1/0 http://www.groundspeak.com/cache/1/0/cache.xsd" xmlns="http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/0"> <name>EM</name> <desc>Geocache file generated by Groundspeak</desc> <author>Groundspeak</author> <email>[email protected]</email> <time>2010-03-24T14:01:36.4931342Z</time> <keywords>cache, geocache, groundspeak</keywords> <wpt lat="51.2586" lon="-2.213067"> <time>2008-03-30T07:00:00Z</time> <name>GC1APHM</name> <desc>Sandman's Noble Hoard by Sandman1973, Unknown Cache (2/3)</desc> <groundspeak:cache id="832000" available="True" archived="False" xmlns:groundspeak="http://www.groundspeak.com/cache/1/0"> <groundspeak:name>Sandman's Noble Hoard</groundspeak:name> <groundspeak:placed_by>Sandman1973</groundspeak:placed_by> </groundspeak:cache> </wpt> </gpx> If the first two lines are replaced with just: <gpx> the above example works correctly, however I then can't access groundspeak:name (/gpx/wpt/groundspeak:cache/groundspeak:name), so my guess its a problem with the namespace. Any help would be appriciated.

  • PHP SOAP Transfering Files

    - by blackmage
Hey, I am new to SOAP and I am trying to learn how to transfer files (.zip files) between a client and server using PHP and SOAP. Currently I have a set up that looks something like this: enter code here require('libraries/nusoap/nusoap.php'); $server = new nusoap_server; $server-configureWSDL('server', 'urn:server'); $server-wsdl-schemaTargetNamespace = 'urn:server'; $server-register('sendFile', array('value' = 'xsd:string'), array('return' = 'xsd:string'), 'urn:server', 'urn:server#sendFile'); But I am unsure on what the return type should be if not a string? I am thinking of using a base64_encode but I am not sure how to. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • WCF XmlSerializer assembly not speeding up first request

    - by Matt Dearing
I am generating proxy classes to a clients java webservice wsdls and xsd files with svcutil. The first call made to each service proxy class takes a very long time. I was hoping to speed this up by generating the XmlSerializers assembly myself (based on the article How to: Improve the Startup Time of WCF Client Applications using the XmlSerializer), but when I do the first call to each service still takes the same amount of time. Here are the steps I am following: //generate strong name key file sn -k Blah.snk //generate the proxy class file svcutil blah.wsdl blah2.wsdl blah3.wsdl ... base.xsd blah.xsd ... /UseSerializerForFaults /ser:XmlSerializer /n:*,SomeNamespace /out:Blah.cs //compile the class into an assembly signing it with the strong name key file csc /target:library /keyfile:Blah.snk /out:Blah.dll Blah.cs //generate the XmlSerializer code this will give us Blah.XmlSerializers.dll.cs svcutil /t:xmlSerializer Blah.dll //compile the xmlserializer code into its own dll using the same key to sign it and referencing the original dll csc /target:library /keyfile:Blah.snk /out:Blah.XmlSerializers.dll Blah.XmlSerializers.dll.cs /r:Blah.dll I then create a standard Console application that references both Blah.dll and Blah.XmlSerializers.dll. I will then try something like: //BlahProxy is one of the generated service proxy classes BlahProxy p = new BlahProxy(); //this call takes 30ish seconds p.SomeMethod(); BlahProxy p2 = new BlahProxy(); //this call takes < 1 second p2.SomeMethod(); //BlahProx2y is one of the generated service proxy classes BlahProxy2 p3 = new BlahProxy2(); //this call takes 30ish seconds p3.SomeMethod(); BlahProxy2 p4 = new BlahProxy2(); //this call takes < 1 second p4.SomeMethod(); I know that the problem is not server side because I don't see the request made in Fiddler until around 29 seconds. Subsequent calls to each service take < 1 second, so thats why I was hoping the main slow down was the .net runtime generating the xmlserializer code itself, compiling it and loading the assembly. I figured this would be the reason the first call to each service is slow and the rest are fast. Unfortunatley, me generating the code myself is not speeding anything up. Does anyone see what I am doing wrong?

  • Disable debug output in libxml2 and xmlsec

    - by ereOn
Hi, In my software, I use libxml2 and xmlsec to manipulate (obviously) XML data structures. I mainly use XSD schema validation and so far, it works well. When the data structure input by the client doesn't match the XSD schema, libxml2 (or xmlsec) output some debug strings to the console. Here is an example: Entity: line 1: parser error : Start tag expected, '<' not found DUMMY<?xml ^ While those strings are useful for debugging purposes, I don't want them to appear and polute the console output in the released software. So far, I couldn't find an official way of doing this. Do you know how to suppress the debug output or (even better) to redirect it to a custom function ? Many thanks.

    - by Maddy.Shik
Please suggest some free tools or some in build feature in Eclipse for intellisense of xml. I am using Eclipse Europa which is for EE java developers. <?xml version ="1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"?> <tests xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="http://jtestcase.sourceforge.net/dtd/jtestcase2.xsd"> </tests> Xml code above is part of xml file i am working upon. I am expecting eclipse to suggest me tags based upon xsd specified above. I am using ctrl+space for suggestion of new tag. Please suggest if i am using wrong key for intellisense or am i missing some tool or plugin. Thanks

    try { const string siteURL = "http://ops.epo.org/2.6.1/soap-services/document-retrieval"; const string docRequest = "<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap='http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/' xmlns:xsi='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance' xmlns:xsd='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema'><soap:Body><document-retrieval id='EP 1000000A1 I ' page-number='1' document-format='SINGLE_PAGE_PDF' system='ops.epo.org' xmlns='http://ops.epo.org' /></soap:Body></soap:Envelope>"; var request = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create(siteURL); request.Method = "POST"; request.Headers.Add("SOAPAction", "\"document-retrieval\""); request.ContentType = " text/xml; charset=utf-8"; Stream stm = request.GetRequestStream(); byte[] binaryRequest = Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(docRequest); stm.Write(binaryRequest, 0, docRequest.Length); stm.Flush(); stm.Close(); var memoryStream = new MemoryStream(); WebResponse resp = request.GetResponse(); var buffer = new byte[4096]; Stream responseStream = resp.GetResponseStream(); { int count; do { count = responseStream.Read(buffer, 0, buffer.Length); memoryStream.Write(buffer, 0, count); } while (count != 0); } resp.Close(); byte[] memoryBuffer = memoryStream.ToArray(); System.IO.File.WriteAllBytes(@"E:\sample12.pdf", memoryBuffer); } catch (Exception ex) { throw ex; } The code above is to retrieve the pdf webresponse.It works fine as long as the request remains canstant, const string docRequest = "<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap='http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/' xmlns:xsi='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance' xmlns:xsd='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema'><soap:Body><document-retrieval id='EP 1000000A1 I ' page-number='1' document-format='SINGLE_PAGE_PDF' system='ops.epo.org' xmlns='http://ops.epo.org' /></soap:Body></soap:Envelope>"; but how to retrieve the same with dynamic requests. When the above code is changed to accept dynamic inputs like, [WebMethod] public string DocumentRetrivalPDF(string docid, string pageno, string docFormat, string fileName) { try { ........ ....... string docRequest = "<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap='http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/' xmlns:xsi='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance' xmlns:xsd='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema'><soap:Body><document-retrieval id=" + docid + " page-number=" + pageno + " document-format=" + docFormat + " system='ops.epo.org' xmlns='http://ops.epo.org' /></soap:Body></soap:Envelope>"; ...... ........ return "responseTxt"; } catch (Exception ex) { return ex.Message; } } It return an "INTERNAL SERVER ERROR:500" can anybody help me on this???
