  • Basic 301 Redirection Help

    - by Marc
I am trying to learn redirection for a WordPress site of my own. I am testing the concept of redirecting a single WordPress post by using a dummy site. However, it doesn't seem to be working for me. I am trying to redirect www.perfectmatchmaker[dot]org/finding-the-right-matchmaker to www.perfectmatchmaker[dot]org/finding-the-perfect-matchmaker I read that using the following is how to do this: Redirect 301 /old.html http://www.you[dot]com/new.html So this is what my .htaccess file currently looks like: # Use PHP5 as default AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php # BEGIN WordPress <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule . /index.php [L] </IfModule> # END WordPress Redirect 301 /finding-the-right-matchmaker.html http://www.perfectmatchmaker.org/finding-the-perfect-matchmaker.html I've also tried removing the ".html". The redirection of the URL is finally working, but the URL shows no posts available. If I try to redirect the other post on the site by adding the following on the next line of the .htaccess file, I get an error that there is a "redirect loop" occurring. redirect 301 /find-love-and-your-perfect-match-through-the-use-of-a-match-maker http://www.perfectmatchmaker.org/find-love-and-your-perfect-match Any help you can provide me would be much appreciated. Thanks! Marc

  • Server overloaded with log messages: tty_release_dev: pts0: read/write wait queue active!

    - by Raph
    In the logs, I have this (extract from the full kernel messages logges at 06:01:14): Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.863038] BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000015 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861081] Process telnet (pid: 20247, threadinfo ffff8800f8598000, task ffff8800024d4500) And then the server logs flooded by this message: Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861547] tty_release_dev: pts0: read/write wait queue active! In the end, 2 hours later, I had to reboot because it had become inaccessible: the load hat grown to 160%. The last command does not show anyone logged on pts0 at that time. I also don't know where this telnet process could come from.... This is an AWS instance running UBUNTU 10.04 LTS And here are the complete logs: Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.863038] BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000015 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861007] IP: [<ffffffff81363dde>] n_tty_read+0x2ce/0x970 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861019] PGD ee13d067 PUD f8698067 PMD 0 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861025] Oops: 0000 [#1] SMP Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861028] last sysfs file: /sys/devices/xen/vbd-2208/block/sdk/removable Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861032] CPU 0 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861034] Modules linked in: ipv6 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861040] Pid: 20247, comm: telnet Not tainted 2.6.32-312-ec2 #24-Ubuntu Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861042] RIP: e030:[<ffffffff81363dde>] [<ffffffff81363dde>] n_tty_read+0x2ce/0x970 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861047] RSP: e02b:ffff8800f8599d88 EFLAGS: 00010246 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861049] RAX: 0000000000000015 RBX: ffff8800f8598000 RCX: 0000000001aed069 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861052] RDX: 0000000000000000 RSI: ffff8800f8599e67 RDI: ffff8801dd833d1c Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861054] RBP: ffff8800f8599e98 R08: ffffffff8135eb10 R09: 7fffffffffffffff Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861057] R10: 0000000000000000 R11: 0000000000000246 R12: ffff8801dd833800 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861059] R13: 0000000000000000 R14: ffff8801dd833a68 R15: ffff8801dd833d1c Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861065] FS: 00007f90121f6720(0000) GS:ffff880002c40000(0000) knlGS:0000000000000000 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861068] CS: e033 DS: 0000 ES: 0000 CR0: 000000008005003b Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861070] CR2: 0000000000000015 CR3: 0000000032a59000 CR4: 0000000000002660 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861073] DR0: 0000000000000000 DR1: 0000000000000000 DR2: 0000000000000000 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861076] DR3: 0000000000000000 DR6: 00000000ffff0ff0 DR7: 0000000000000400 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861081] Process telnet (pid: 20247, threadinfo ffff8800f8598000, task ffff8800024d4500) Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861083] Stack: Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861085] 0000000000000000 0000000001aed069 ffff8801dd8339c8 ffff8800024d4500 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861089] <0> ffff8801dd8339c0 ffff8801dd833c90 0000000001aed027 ffff8800024d4500 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861094] <0> ffff8801dd8338d8 0000000000000000 ffff8800024d4500 0000000000000000 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861099] Call Trace: Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861107] [<ffffffff81034bc0>] ? default_wake_function+0x0/0x10 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861113] [<ffffffff8135ebb6>] tty_read+0xa6/0xf0 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861118] [<ffffffff810ee7e5>] vfs_read+0xb5/0x1a0 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861122] [<ffffffff810ee91c>] sys_read+0x4c/0x80 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861127] [<ffffffff81009ba8>] system_call_fastpath+0x16/0x1b Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861131] [<ffffffff81009b40>] ? system_call+0x0/0x52 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861133] Code: 85 d2 0f 84 92 00 00 00 45 8b ac 24 5c 02 00 00 f0 45 0f b3 2e 45 19 ed 49 63 84 24 5c 02 00 00 49 8b 94 24 50 02 00 00 4c 89 ff <0f> be 1c 02 e8 a9 d3 14 00 41 8b 94 24 5c 02 00 00 41 83 ac 24 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861171] RIP [<ffffffff81363dde>] n_tty_read+0x2ce/0x970 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861175] RSP <ffff8800f8599d88> Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861171] RIP [<ffffffff81363dde>] n_tty_read+0x2ce/0x970 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861175] RSP <ffff8800f8599d88> Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861177] CR2: 0000000000000015 Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861205] ---[ end trace f10eee2057ff4f6b ]--- Apr 21 06:01:14 ip-10-49-109-107 kernel: [233185.861547] tty_release_dev: pts0: read/write wait queue active!

  • CNAME subdomain of subdomain with content on first subdomain

    - by BandonRandon
Okay so maybe that title is a bit confusing but here is what I'm trying to do: I have a subdomain with content at my.example.com I want to set up something like sub.my.example.com This does not seem to work if there is content on my.example.com However if there is not content on the first subdomain it seems that it's okay to CNAME the record to example2.org This is my first real experiance with CNAME so I'm wondering about common errors to check for. my.example.com is an A record and sub.my.example.com is a CNAME EDIT I am managing the DNS though Web Host Manger (WHM) Dns records. The content is at http://vbx.knowconceptdw.net and I'm trying to set a voicemail CNAME to point to http://api.twillio.com at http://voicemail.vbx.knowconceptdw.net

  • Configuring IIS7 for TLS 1.0 only

    - by tomfanning
I have been tasked with configuring an IIS7 server to accept TLS 1.0 HTTPS connections only. I have come up with the following list of cipher suites which I have deduced are TLS 1.0. TLS_DHE_DSS_WITH_3DES_EDE_CBC_SHA TLS_DHE_DSS_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA TLS_DHE_DSS_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA TLS_RSA_WITH_3DES_EDE_CBC_SHA TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA I have put that list in the box in the following policy: Computer Configuration | Administrative Templates | Network | SSL Configuration Settings | SSL Cipher Suite Order Is that sufficient? Are any of the suites in my list not TLS 1.0? Are there any other TLS 1.0 suites supported by IIS7 that aren't in the list? The server, by the way, is Windows Server 2008 R2. Thanks

  • How do I create a Linked Server in SQL Server 2005 to a password protected Access 95 database?

    - by Brad Knowles
I need to create a linked server with SQL Server Management Studio 2005 to an Access 95 database, which happens to be password protected at the database level. User level security has not been implemented. I cannot convert the Access database to a newer version. It is being used by a 3rd party application; so modifying it, in any way, is not allowed. I've tried using the Jet 4.0 OLE DB Provider and the ODBC OLE DB Provider. The 3rd party application creates a System DSN (with the proper database password), but I've not had any luck in using either method. If I were using a standard connection string, I think it would look something like this: Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source='C:\Test.mdb';Jet OLEDB:Database Password=####; I'm fairly certain I need to somehow incorporate Jet OLEDB:Database Password into the linked server setup, but haven't figured out how. I've posted the scripts I'm using along with the associated error messages below. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'll provide more details if needed, just ask. Thanks! Method #1 - Using the Jet 4.0 Provider When I try to run these statements to create the linked server: sp_dropserver 'Test', 'droplogins'; EXEC sp_addlinkedserver @server = N'Test', @provider = N'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0', @srvproduct = N'Access DB', @datasrc = N'C:\Test.mdb' GO EXEC sp_addlinkedsrvlogin @rmtsrvname=N'Test', @useself=N'False',@locallogin=NULL, @rmtuser=N'Admin', @rmtpassword='####' GO I get this error when testing the connection: TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio ------------------------------ "The test connection to the linked server failed." ------------------------------ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch. (Microsoft.SqlServer.ConnectionInfo) ------------------------------ The OLE DB provider "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0" for linked server "Test" reported an error. Authentication failed. OLE DB provider "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0" for linked server "Test" returned message "Cannot start your application. The workgroup information file is missing or opened exclusively by another user.". (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 7399) ------------------------------ Method #2 - Using the ODBC Provider... sp_dropserver 'Test', 'droplogins'; EXEC sp_addlinkedserver @server = N'Test', @provider = N'MSDASQL', @srvproduct = N'ODBC', @datasrc = N'Test:DSN' GO EXEC sp_addlinkedsrvlogin @rmtsrvname=N'Test', @useself=N'False',@locallogin=NULL, @rmtuser=N'Admin', @rmtpassword='####' GO I get this error: TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio ------------------------------ "The test connection to the linked server failed." ------------------------------ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch. (Microsoft.SqlServer.ConnectionInfo) ------------------------------ Cannot initialize the data source object of OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "Test". • htaccess rewriterule works in one virtualhost, but not a second virtualhost

    - by Casey Flynn
I have two virtualhosts configured with xampp on mac os x snow lion. Both use the following .htaccess file. <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / # Protect hidden files from being viewed <Files .*> Order Deny,Allow Deny From All </Files> #Removes access to the system folder by users. #Additionally this will allow you to create a System.php controller, #previously this would not have been possible. #'system' can be replaced if you have renamed your system folder. RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^application.* RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php?/$1 [L] #Checks to see if the user is attempting to access a valid file, #such as an image or css document, if this isn't true it sends the #request to index.php RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php/$01 [L] # If we don't have mod_rewrite installed, all 404's # can be sent to index.php, and everything works as normal. # Submitted by: ElliotHaughin ErrorDocument 404 /index.php My goal is to eliminate /index.php/ from my url strings. • Adding an user to samba

    - by JustMaximumPower
I'm trying to setup some samba shares in my home network on an Ubuntu 12.04 machine. Everything works fine for my user account (max) but I can not add any new user. Every time I try to add new user they can not use the shares. It's likely that the error is very basic to the concept of samba but please don't just tell me to read the docs. I've been trying that for about 2 weeks now. I've set up the server with my user max who can mount transfer and the share max. Than I added the user simon with sudo adduser --no-create-home --disabled-login --shell /bin/false simon because the user should not be able to ssh into the machine. I did an sudo smbpasswd -a simon and set an (samba) password for simon and added an share for simon. I also added simon to transferusers to give him access to the share transfer. But simon can't connect to transfer or simons. ---- output of testparam: ------- Load smb config files from /etc/samba/smb.conf rlimit_max: increasing rlimit_max (1024) to minimum Windows limit (16384) Processing section "[printers]" Processing section "[print$]" Processing section "[max]" Processing section "[simons]" Processing section "[transfer]" Loaded services file OK. • ServerFault Wiki: How does Subnetting Work?

    - by Kyle Brandt
How does Subnetting Work, and How do you do it by hand or in your head? Can someone explain both conceptually and with several examples? Serverfault gets lots of subnetting homework questions, so we could use an answer to point them to on serverfault itself. If I have a network, how do I figure out how to split it up? If I am given a netmask, how do I know what the network Range is for it? Sometimes there is a slash followed by a number, what is that number? Sometimes there is a subnet mask, but also a wildcard mask, they seem like the same thing but they are different? Someone mentioned something about knowing binary for this? Not looking for links to other sites (unless maybe you have one post with a bunch of good ones). I already know how to subnet, I just thought it would be nice if serverfault had a generic subnetting answer.

  • Event 4098, 0x80070533 Logon failure: account currently disabled?

    - by Windos
Having started to upgrade our PCs to Windows 7 we have noticed that we are getting group policy warnings in Event Viewer such as: "The user 'Word.qat' preference item in the 'a_Office2007_Users {A084A37B-6D4C-41C0-8AF7-B891B87FC53B}' Group Policy object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070533 Logon failure: account currently disabled.' This error was suppressed." 15 of these warnings appear every two hours on every Windows 7 PC, most of which are to do with core office applications and two are for plug-ins to out document management system. These warnings aren't afecting the users, but it would be nice to track down the source of them before we rollout Win7 to the rest of the Organisation. Any ideas as to where the login issue could be comming from (All users are connecting to the domain and proxy, etc fine)?

  • TMG Forefront Proxy blocking internal HTTP requests

  • Windows Network Load Balancing on ESX Cluster with Dell PowerConnect stacks

    - by dunxd
We recently switched out our Cisco 6500 core switch for a pair of Dell PowerConnect 6248 stacks. Since then, our Network Load Balanced Sharepoint, which runs on two virtual machines on an ESX cluster has been behaving very poorly. The symptoms are that opening and saving documents stored in sharepoint takes a very very long time. There are no errors showing up on the Sharepoint servers or SQL server, just a lot of annoyed users. Initially I thought there was no way NLB could cause this, but as soon as we repointed the DNS records for our intranet to the ip address of one of the web front ends, the problems disappeared. We suspect there is an issue related to multicast in the Dell configs - NLB is configured for multicast, but not IGMP. Has anyone got a similar set up to us and fixed this sort of issue? Sharepoint on VMware ESX, with Dell PowerConnect switches.

  • Windows Server 2008 R2 LDAPS

    - by Chad Moran
I have a Server 2008 R2 server with ADDS installed. I'm trying to configure HP's ILO utility to connect to it over SSL. I installed the Active Directory Certificate Service, after doing so I'm still not able to connect to LDAP over SSL. I checked the event log and it's showing warnings with Event ID 36886 saying that there aren't default credentials yet. I'm not too sure why this is happening. I haven't done anything with ADCS other than installing the service do I need to create a certificate for the server?

  • WebDav rename fails on an Apache mod_dav install behind NginX

    - by The Daemons Advocate
I'm trying to solve a problem with renaming files over WebDav. Our stack consists of a single machine, serving content through Nginx, Varnish and Apache. When you try to rename a file, the operation fails with the stack that we're currently using. To connect to WebDav, a client program must: Connect over https://host:443 to NginX NginX unwraps and forwards the request to a Varnish server on http://localhost:81 Varnish forwards the request to Apache on http://localhost:82, which offers a session via mod_dav Here's an example of a failed rename: $ cadaver https://webdav.domain/ Authentication required for Webdav on server `webdav.domain': Username: user Password: dav:/> cd sandbox dav:/sandbox/> mkdir test Creating `test': succeeded. dav:/sandbox/> ls Listing collection `/sandbox/': succeeded. Coll: test 0 Mar 12 16:00 dav:/sandbox/> move test newtest Moving `/sandbox/test' to `/sandbox/newtest': redirect to http://webdav.domain/sandbox/test/ dav:/sandbox/> ls Listing collection `/sandbox/': succeeded. Coll: test 0 Mar 12 16:00 For more feedback, the WebDrive windows client logged an error 502 (Bad Gateway) and 303 (?) on the rename operation. The extended logs gave this information: Destination URI refers to different scheme or port (https://hostname:443) (want: http://hostname:82). Some other Restrictions: Investigations into NginX's Webdav modules show that it doesn't really fit our needs, and forwarding webdav traffic to Apache isn't an option because we don't want to enable Apache SSL. Are there any ways to trick mod_dav to forward to another host? I'm open to ideas :).

  • mono: application not running when web.config in subfolder

    - by Quandary
I run asp.net on mono. I wanted to run blogengine: http://www.dotnetblogengine.net/ I downloaded, put it in /var/www/blogengine, on the console went to /var/www/blogengine and started xsp2. I went to http://localhost:8080, and it ran without problems. Then I stopped xsp2, went to /var/www and started xsp2. I went to http://localhost:8080/blogengine It ended with a strange error: The section <blogProvider> can't be defined in this configuration file (the allowed definition context is 'MachineToApplication'). (/var/www/blogengine/Web.Config line 9) The problem seems to be that it stops working as soon as the xsp2 root folder is anything else than the application root folder... Do I have to config anything ? Or what else is wrong ?

  • Have set Expiration time: Still getting "Query string present but no explicit expiration time"

  • Identify remote desktop client software and OS when user logs into Windows 2008 R2 Remote Desktop

    - by georged
We would like to detect what devices & what programs users are using to connect to the Windows 2008 R2 Remote Desktop. In particular, we would like to have an ability to detect the remote devices such as iPads, iPhones & Androids, identify the software used and allow these connections only for certain users based on combination of the client OS + software. If it can be done in powershell to be run as part of the logon script, that'd be ideal.

  • Debian, 6rd tunnel, and connection troubles

    - by Chris B
Long story short I am having issues with IPv6 using a 6rd tunnel with my ISP, charter business. They offer a 6rd tunnel that I think I have properly set up, but the server doesn’t reply to every ipv6 request. When the server has the network interfaces idle with no traffic for about 10 minutes, then IPv6 stops accepting inbound connections. to re-allow it, I must go into the server, and make it do a outbound ipv6 connection (normally a ping) to start it back up. Whats weird though i that if I run iptraf when its not working, it still shows a inbound ipv6 packet… the server is just not replying, and I can’t figure out why. Also, if I try to access my server over IPv6 from a house about 1 mile away on the same ISP, it is never able to connect. it always times out, but again the iptraf shows a ipv6 inbound packet. Again, it just does not reply. To test if my server is accessible through IPv6 I always have to use my vzw 4g phone (they use IPv6) or ipv6proxy dot net. Here is all of the configuration information my ISP gives on there tunnel server: 6rd Prefix = 2602:100::/32 Border Relay Address = 68.114.165.1 6rd prefix length = 32 IPv4 mask length = 0 Here is my /etc/network/interfaces for ipv6 (used x's to block real addresses) auto charterv6 iface charterv6 inet6 v4tunnel address 2602:100:189f:xxxx::1 netmask 32 ttl 64 gateway ::68.114.165.1 endpoint 68.114.165.1 local 24.159.218.xxx up ip link set mtu 1280 dev charterv6 here is my iptables config filter :INPUT DROP [0:0] :fail2ban-ssh – [0:0] :OUTPUT ACCEPT [0:0] :FORWARD DROP [0:0] :hold – [0:0] -A INPUT -p tcp -m tcp —dport 22 -j fail2ban-ssh -A INPUT -m state —state RELATED,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT -A INPUT -p tcp -m multiport -j ACCEPT —dports 80,443,25,465,110,995,143,993,587,465,22 -A INPUT -i lo -j ACCEPT -A INPUT -p tcp -m tcp —dport 10000 -j ACCEPT -A INPUT -p tcp -m tcp —dport 5900:5910 -j ACCEPT -A fail2ban-ssh -j RETURN -A INPUT -p icmp -j ACCEPT COMMIT and last here is my ip6tables firewall config filter :INPUT DROP [1653:339023] :FORWARD DROP [0:0] :OUTPUT ACCEPT [60141:13757903] :hold – [0:0] -A INPUT -m state —state RELATED,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT -A INPUT -p tcp -m multiport —dports 80,443,25,465,110,995,143,993,587,465,22 -j ACCEPT -A INPUT -i lo -j ACCEPT -A INPUT -p tcp -m tcp —dport 10000 -j ACCEPT -A INPUT -p tcp -m tcp —dport 5900:5910 -j ACCEPT -A INPUT -p ipv6-icmp -j ACCEPT COMMIT So Summary: 1.iptraf always shows IPv6 traffic, so its always making it to the server 2.server stops replying on ipv6 after no traffic for awhile (10 minutesish) until a outbound connection is made, then the process repeats. 3.server is NEVER accessable vi same ISP (yet iptraf still shows ipv6 request) Notes: When I try to access it from the same ISP from across town, even with iptables and ip6tables allowing ALL inbound traffic, this is what iptraf shows. IPv6 (92 bytes) from 97.92.18.xxx to 24.159.218.xxx on eth0 ICMP dest unrch (port) (120 bytes) from 24.159.218.xxx to 97.92.18.xxx on eth1 its strange, like its trying to forward to LAN? (eth1 is LAN, eth0 is WAN) even with the IPv6 address being set in the hosts file to the servers domain name. With iptables set up normally with the above configurations it only says this: IPv6 (100 bytes) from 97.92.18.xxx to 24.159.218.xxx on eth0 Im REALLY stuck on this, and any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

  • Remotely sync Time Machine drives

    - by Off Rhoden
I have an Xserve that runs Time Machine to a local terabyte drive. I also connected my external terabyte drive for a time period and had Time Machine use it to establish the seed data. I plan to take my drive back home with me (out of state) and have the Xserve return to using its local drive for Time Machine. But when I get back home, is there a way to keep my external drive's copy of the Time Machine Backups folder in sync with the Backups folder back on the Xserve? I'm wanting a full copy of the history (makes an awesome remote backup). I've thought of using the unix command rsync. In fact, that's how I had been doing it but I was looking the compactness that Time Machine was able to achieve. Thanks.

  • Dual Exchange 2010 on different VM + single public IP + multiple domains

    - by Shivan Raptor
Here is the scenario: I have 2 Exchange Server 2010 on 2 different Virtual Machines, created by and based on Hyper-V. They have IP and domain: 192.168.5.11, domainA.com ; and 192.168.5.12, domainB.com respectively. The problem is, I only have 1 public IP, say 123.123.1.1 . How do I configure the settings so that I can successfully receive emails using both Exchange servers? Given that I cannot use single Exchange server for multiple domains. -- UPDATE -- To clarify, the domainA.com and domainB.com mentioned above are website domains, instead of multiple Active Directory forests. Users of the two Exchange Server shares the same Active Directory. I know that ONE Exchange Server can handle multiple domains, but I would like to separate them into different Virtual Machines, for load balancing and data separation.
