  • undefined reference errors in C++

    I have files Record.h and Record.cpp. When I just include the Record.h file, I get several undefined reference errors to functions defined in those files. When I also include Record.cpp then the errors go away. Why is that? Record.h has the forward declarations for the functions it says are an undefined reference.

    There is little documentation on how to use the low level api for datastore and quite a lot on JPA and JDO and how it translates to it. My question is: is there any advantage in coding against the JPA or JDO specs instead of accessing directly the low level api for datastore ?     I have a table with 42 million records. 32 million have a null value and I would like to generate a new guid for each one. Should I do this in batches? Also, going forward, I would like a new guid added to the field on the insert of a new record. What is the best way to do this? The field is not the primary key, which is an auto-incrementing integer.

    My app got rejected by the apple because of the reason "iPhone Apps must also run on iPad without modification, at iPhone resolution, and at 2X iPhone 3GS resolution".Apple suggested that "to support the iPad 3GS 2X, and this issue is usually resolved through settings in "compatibility" mode. "no black bar's or borders"".So,my question is how to set and run the app in compatibility mode.Any one having this issue please help on this issue.I have no idea to go forward.     Is it possible to either use the System.IO.Path class, or some similar object to format a unix style path, providing similar functionality to the PATH class? For example, I can do: Console.WriteLine(Path.Combine("c:\\", "windows")); Which shows: "C:\\windows" But is I try a similar thing with forward slashes (/) it just reverses them for me. Console.WriteLine(Path.Combine("/server", "mydir")); Which shows: "/server\\mydir"

  • Simple way to play a single frequency in java?

    I just want to play a very simple, straight forward note by giving my computer a certain frequency as an integer, and from there I can figure out how to make it play the note longer or shorter. It does not necessarily have to come out of the actual sound card - if it's generated and output by the internal speaker that's okay. I looked at the midi libraries that java has included, and they are way more than what I want to do. This just needs to be very basic.

    I'd like to do the following with Python: Computer 1 starts SSH server (probably using twisted or paramiko) Computer 1 connects to Server 1 (idle connection) Computer 2 connects to Server 1 Server 1 forwards Computer 2's connection to Computer 1 (connection no longer idle) Computer 1 forwards Server 1's connection to listening SSH port (on computer 1) Result being Computer 2 now has a SSH session with Computer 1, almost as if Computer 2 had started a normal SSH session (but with Server 1's IP instead of Computer 1's) I need this because I can't port forward on Computer 1's network (the router doesn't support it).
