• Is there a way to "redirect" a click on a URL in a VirtualBox guest to open in the host OS browser?

  I'm using VirtualBox OSE on Ubuntu 10.04. I have a Windows 7 guest VM which I use almost exclusively for MS Outlook to access my Exchange mailbox. If I click a URL in Outlook it obviously opens in IE in the guest VM, is there any way to have it perform a redirect of some sort? If I click a URL inside the VM, I want it to load in my default browser in the Ubuntu host.

• How can I add a comment when I decline an invite in iCal or Apple Mail?

  I'm using iCal to manage my calendar on an Exchange server. In outlook, when I accepted or declined a meeting, I was able to add a comment telling the sender why I couldn't make the meeting. With iCal, it just rudely declines the meeting with no ability to add a comment. Am I missing something?

• ArcServer creates additional jobs

  We're running CA ARCserve Backup r12.5 (Build 5854) - Small Business Server Edition on our Small Business Server 2008. There is a daily job which saves the systemdrive, exchange and 3 databases to our backup storage. It seems like this daily job creates these additional jobs every time it runs. I don't know why it's doing this. Can anybody tell me why this is happening? (I'm sorry this screenshot is in german... "Ergänzungsjob" means something like "extensionjob" or "additionjob")

• How can I use Outlook 2007 to connect to mail service using active sync protocol

  Has anyone tried connected outlook(I am running v2007 on Windows 7) to a mail service using the MS Exchange Active Sync protocol? If so, how did you do it? Wouldn't this solution probably eliminate the need for all the hacks/APIs needed to connect outlook to 'X' mail (Gmail, notes, etc)? I know it is intended for mobile devices, but to me it looks like it is becoming the latest 'de facto' mail protocol for email/calendar/contact sync'ing due to the iPhone's support for it. Thanks!

I cannot save this variable in the registry of the local machine under HKCU, because the users are likely to exchange their machines. This variable must be accessible on the whole domain. Do you have any idea of implementing this ? Are there WMI features that may help me ?

• Preventing folders from being moved in Outlook folder list

  In the Outlook "folder list", it is quite easy to accidentally pickup a folder and move that into another folder. There is no undo for this, and I have not found a way to prevent this. I thought it was just me, but I recently saw a coworker do the same thing while filing mail via drag and drop. We are using Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2007.

  I was always thought to use internal domain name (company.local or company.corp) for Active Directory instead of (company.com or company.pl).   What is the best way to backup windows SQL, Exchange or AD servers data to? NAS, external USB , iSCSI or perhaps some other backup solution? I will not however be considering cloud backup solutions due to bandwidth restrictions and cost. Currently I find NAS devices to give the best results but clients that do not have the budget for backup software use Windows Server Backup but then they can make only 1 backup to a NAS at a time.
