  Are there any open source libraries/projects which work in a similar way to http://www.tagattitude.fr/en/products/technology? I am trying to understand the process. At first I thought this could work like when you send a fax to a fax machine. It is basically using the mobile phone’s microphone as a captor and its audio channel as a transporter. Are there any libraries for generating the signal and then being able to decode it?

  Hey all, I'm using Selenium Webdriver to do some robottesting. Since some functions appear to only work in Firefox, I'm obligated to use Firefoxdriver. Now and then, something weird happens. Starting up te driver driver = new FirefoxDriver(); driver.get(URL); gets firefox to startup but not to go to the specified url. The strange thing is that it works on another computer with the same preferences set in Firefox. I solved this problem once by changing to another version of firefox, but this time this doesn't do the trick for me, it did however worked for the other developers. Yes, the error started for all developers on the same time, same day... My first question is: is it a firefox problem or Webdriver problem. • Problem with Twitter basic authentication using AJAX

  I'm developing a javascript App that needs, as part of its functionality, for users to be able to update their Twitter status. The App is designed to work on mobiles, and as such I don't really want to be sending users all the way over to the Twitter site to sign in; they should just be able to pass their credentials to the app, and I'll handle all the signin. So I'm trying to use the Basic Auth with the restful API.   Dear fellow Programmers, I try to use the following google map webservice in order to locate greek addresses: http://maps.google.com/maps/api/geocode/json?address=??ad?µ?a? 16&sensor=false and it does not work. If I hit the same exactly address but written with latin alphabet characters: maps.google.com/maps/api/geocode/json?address=akadimias 16&sensor=false, it works and returns the right result. It displays immediately after the synchronous request happens, unfortunatly this is also when it is dismissed. The behaviour displayed to the user is that the app hangs, waits for the synchronous request to finish, quickly flashes the HUB and then becomes responsive again. How can I fix this issue? I want the SVProgressHUB to be displayed during this hang time, how can I do this?

  Okay, I am trying (poorly) to successfully make a JSONP call from jQuery on a test page to a WCF web service running locally, as a cross-domain call. I have, at one point or another, either gotten a 1012 URI denied error, gotten a response but in Xml, or just had no response at all. Currently, the way I have it configured it spits back a 1012. I did not write this web service, so it is entirely possible that I am just missing a configuration setting somewhere, but I've become so frustrated with it that I think just asking on here will be more productive.   What is the most efficient way to clone a JavaScript object? I've seen: obj = eval(uneval(o)); but that's not cross platform (FF only). I've done (in Mootools 1.2) things like this: obj = JSON.decode(JSON.encode(o)); but question the efficiency. I've also seen recursive copying function, etc. I'm pretty surprised that out-of-the-box JavaScript doesn't have a method for doing this.
