  Is it possible for a piece of lua user data to hold reference to a lua object? (Like a table, or another piece of user data?). Basically, what I want to know is: Can I create a piece of userdata in such a way taht when the gc runs, the user data can say: "Hey! I'm pretty sure this is copyrighted material and the author does not want copies of the book to be freely available on the web. What is the proper etiquette in this situation? Leave a comment? • jsTree and SVG Editor conflict in active selected items?

  Hi, I'm using jsTree and SVG-Edit in the same file but there is a conflict in the active selected item. For example I clicked a tree item then I cannot draw in the svgcanvas div anymore. Maybe because of you click the item in jsTree then it's always selected and the svgcanvad div will not be active anymore? Any help, tips or tutorials will help. Thanks, Mark

  Is there a way to somehow mark Types I do not control as Obsolete? Basically I would like to add ObsoleteAttribute to types I do not want to use in my .net Project (i.e., SerializableAttribute) I believe I can do something like that with FxCop, but ideally I would like to have the compiler already generate warnings for "greylisted" Types? This should be on a Per-Project level, but sadly "Extension Attributes" don't exist, and adding them at Runtime is too late for ObsoleteAttribute...

  For a web application I switched from using ASP.NET Membership to using my own log in system which just does something like this to mark a user as logged in: Session["UserId"] = User.Id Is it possible to store the user id in the ASPXAUTH cookie, piggybacking on its encryption, instead of using the standard session? The goal is for the logged in state to last longer than a session and survive both browser and server restarts.

  I'm aware of SOUNDEX and (double) Metaphone, but these don't let me test for the similarity of words as a whole - for example "Hi" sounds very similar to "Bye", but both of these methods will mark them as completely different. Are there any libraries in Ruby, or any methods you know of, that are capable of determining the similarity between two words? (Either a boolean is/isn't similar, or numerical 40% similar) edit: Extra bonus points if there is an easy method to 'drop in' a different dialect or language!
