  • How to load a springframework ApplicationContext from Jython

    I have a class that loads a springframework application context like so: package com.offlinesupport; import org.springframework.context.ApplicationContext; import org.springframework.context.support.ClassPathXmlApplicationContext; public class OfflineScriptSupport { private static ApplicationContext appCtx; public static final void initialize() { appCtx = new ClassPathXmlApplicationContext( new String[] { "mycontext.spring.xml" } ); } public static final ApplicationContext getApplicationContext() { return appCtx; } public static final void main( String[] args ) { System.out.println( "Starting..." ); initialize(); System.out.println( "loaded" ); } } The class OfflineScriptSupport, and the file mycontext.spring.xml are each deployed into separate jars (along with other classes and resources in their respective modules). Lets say the jar files are OfflineScriptSupport.jar and *MyContext.jar". mycontext.spring.xml is put at the root of the jar. In a Jython script (*myscript.jy"), I try to call the initialize method to create the application context: from com.offlinesupport import OfflineScriptSupport OfflineScriptSupport.initialize(); I execute the Jython script with the following command (from Linux): jython -Dpython.path=spring.jar:OfflineScriptSupport.jar:MyContext.jar myscript.jy The Springframework application context cannot find the mycontext.spring.xml file. Is there something special about the way Jython handles classpaths making the Springframework's ClassPathXmlApplicationContext not work (i.e. not be able to find resource files in the classpath)?

    Why did programmers ever start using status codes? I mean, I guess I could imagine this might be useful back in the days when a text string was an expensive resource. WAYYY back then. But even after we had megabytes of memory to work with, we continued to use them.     Is there a way to specify the tab order of the elements within a jQuery Dialog which itself contains an Accordion? The dialog also specifies one button in the buttons options. For accessibility, we need to be able to tab through the accordion panes, the form elements in each accordion, the button in the buttons options, and the close icon of the dialog itself, but tabbing seems to be skipping over the button in the buttons options, and I can't find any resource that has a resolution for this sort of problem.

  • MS Runtime required for app to run, how can I include with setup?

    My application requires access to be installed on the computer or at least the MS Access runtime. Is their a way to include that with the application to check for that component/resource or install it if it isn't? Or would it just be easier to include a link to tell the user where to get the runtime if the error happens? I am using Visual Studio 2008 and the windows form app is written in VB.net.   • Include Jquery inside GreaseMonkey script under Google Chrome

    As maybe some of you know google chrome has put some severe limitation on greasemonkey scripts. Chromium does not support @require, @resource, unsafeWindow, GM_registerMenuCommand, GM_setValue, or GM_getValue. And without require, I can't find a way to include jquery library in Greasemonkey script under google chrome. Does anybody have some advice for the matter? Thanks in advance.

    I did some research on Google but I couldn't find any HTML5 browser for Windows Mobile 6. The main resource I'm looking for in HTML5 is WebDatabase and/or localStorage. With a little research I found Iris (http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-iris-browser.html), a Webkit based browser with some HTML5 features, but localStorage and Web Database doesn't work on it. Does anyone know any browser with storage capability for Windows Mobile 6?
