• iOS UITableViewCell UIImageView setting on different conditions

  I have an app that has a UITableView and in my Cells I have UIImageViews and UILabels that change images/textColors for a day theme and a night theme (trying to be automatically set). My issue is that I set the images and colors when the table is populated with cellForRowAtIndexPath and its during the day "theme", then if I reopen the app hours later in the night "theme" and the app is still in the "background" and not needing to be reloaded (ie viewDidLoad doesn't fire), the day "theme" shows until I scroll the UITableView and then the night "theme" shows when new cells are brought into view by scrolling. How should I set the objects in my cells when changing around time of the day? I was thinking to use an NSTimer, but I'm not sure how to update the objects in my cells. I was also thinking about using the appropriate methods in the AppDelagate to set things in motion, but is there a way to force reloading the TableView? Any suggestions?

• Can you tell me why my webpage displays differently in IE and how to fix it.

  I've been browsing through all of the CSS related cross-browser questions trying to troubleshoot my IE styling issues with no luck. Can anyone tell me how to fix my homepage styles so that it displays the same in IE as it currently does in Firefox? I've used Firebug (probably why it looks good in Firefox) but I can't find any tools for IE that will let me change the stylesheet real time. I'm just as interested in the process of figuring out this answer as I am in the answer itself so posting the steps you took to figure it out would be beneficial. (want to be able to do this myself next time!!!) Website is AppQandA.com. Scroll down to the bottom in IE and notice the footer. It's not like this on every page.....just the main page and the questions page.

  I'm triying to combine a TabBar + Navigation app. I have 5 tab bars, 4 are listing of stuff and drill down to details views. I try to follow this tutorial: http://www.iphonedevforums.com/forum/iphone-sdk-development/124-view-controller-problem.html But always get a blank view. This is what I do, with a clean project: I start with a TabBar template app. I put 5 tab bar buttons. I create a controller like: @interface FirstViewController : UINavigationController { } I put the main window.xib on tree mode & change the selected first view to FirstViewController I select the TabBar Controller in Interface builder, go to TabBar Attributes & change the class to navigation controler. Select the fist view & put the nib name "SecondView" In response, I get a blank screen. I must add that I wanna navigate from the details views, no from the main windows. i.e in the main window tab bar 1 is the list of people. I select a person then wanna navigate to the detail window.

  I'm working with some CSS (from a Joomla template) like this: div#logo { -moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous; -moz-background-origin: padding; background: transparent url(../images/head.png) no-repeat scroll 0 0; ... } I've looked up some of those -moz- properties and they seem to be assigned their default values, and if I turn them off in Firebug nothing happens visibly. Would there be a reason to add them to a CSS file? Are they for an old version of Firefox perhaps?

I create a TabActivity and it has three Activity(tab1,tab2,tab3).I wanna realize that if I press a button in tab1,then TextView in tab2 can be changed. I've tried Intent and Bundle , but that didn't work and force close . Maybe because of the TabActivity I think . 2. If I have a layout and there are many TextView on it. But some are out of the screen. How can I scroll the screen? 3. Is it possible that TextView in Tablelayout can be clicked ? • Changing overflow from div dynamically [closed]

  Hello comunnity! I am filling a div using JQuery. This div has the CSS property 'overflow' set to 'auto' (to display scrollbars because the div has a lot of HTML inside). But the DIV doesn't display the scrollbars. I think that the problem is that I'm setting the CSS property using CSS and the DIV is filling dynamically. How can I do to display scrollbars if the HTML inside the DIV doesn't fit, but dynamically? I'm trying to set the property manually after fill the div, but didn't work: function createWB(tag){ // Fill the div // ... // Set the scrollbars $('.tab_content').css('overflow','auto'); } If a set the property to 'scroll', the scrollbars appear, but disabled. • CSS fixed div. Avoid unwanted overlapping

  I've got a CSS layout made of 2 columns. the navigation column to the left is a fix div. It stays there while scrolling down the main content in the column to the right. The problem comes when I reduce the browser window, or zoom in: when scrolling the browser windom horizontally, the main content on the right starts overlapping the navigation column on the left. How can I fix it so that whatever the size of my browser window or my zoom level is, when i scroll horizontally the fixed div isn't overlapped but pushes the main column to the right? • Yahoo Astra flash component error BaseScrollPane not found

  I'm trying to use the Astra library from Yahoo but I'm getting an error saying the base class BaseScrollPane is not found. It appears to be imported from fl.containers.BaseScrollPane, which leads me to believe it should be a part of the base flash 10 library and therefore should be available, but it appears to be missing. Is this part of a separate package from somewhere? Update: For what it's worth, I found the actual class files in the Configuration/Component Source folder on my hard drive, but adding that to the class path (as well as the Components directory) did no good. I ended up fixing the issue by dragging a scroll pane component to the stage from the Components window and then deleting it, but I'm not sure what exactly that action changed that made it work, and would like to know for future reference.

This additional control needs to be part of the scrolling content so that the user would scroll to the bottom of the list to see the control. If I were using a listbox without the groups, this task would be easy by modifying the ListBox template. However, with the items grouped, the ListBox template seems to only apply on a per group basis. • Adding a row to a ListView that displays "Loading" while information is downloaded. Like in the Market.

  I've tried, but have had no luck trying to find this answer elsewhere. I want to add a row to the bottom of my listview that displays "Loading..." and maybe a spinning progress indicator. My program already loads additional information into the listview once the user scrolls to the bottom. But I want the user to be able to see that the program is indeed loading something. Example: If you go to the android marketplace and scroll to the bottom of one of the lists, the last row will say "Loading...". Then once the data is loaded, that bar is replaced with the first item of the new data. Sorry, it's a little hard to describe. I am NOT trying to add a footer to the bottom of the list view. I want it to be an actual item in the listview.

I have a QScrollArea Filled with many QGroupBoxes Filled with a horizontal box layout of QLabel (on the left) and QGroupBox (on the right) The right side is a vertical box layout of QPushButtons Every single element, the scrollarea, both boxes, the labels, and the buttons all have their style sheets modified so padding is 0px and margin is 0px. Why do i have all this extra space? The scroll area has space on all sides until its inner elements (the blue boxes) start. Then those boxes have space until its inner elements (the white boxes) start. Can someone tell me what is going on?

Now how to keep the search facility so that we can directly go to the required contact and if it is not possible with the list control which control is to be used so that multiple contacts can be selected and also search facility is available.

• What CSS attribute stops my site squidging up?

  I am looking at a website on the internet with the standard centered box design (the entire site is centered in a box and has a border each side). As you shrink it, the border gets smaller but the content stays the same size. This is fine. However on their site, once you get smaller still, you simply get scrollbars. The content remains untouched. On my site if you do this, things like text and links start to scroll onto multiple lines and the whole site gets broken. How can I keep it the same even when the viewport is small?

  I have an anonymous function to detect the user has scrolled to the bottom of the window. Inside of the anonymous function, I have a call to a database that takes a while to complete. var allowing_more = 1; $(window).scroll(function() { if (allowing_more == 1){ if ($(window).scrollTop() + $(window).height() == $(document).height()) { allowing_more = 0; //query allowing_more = 1; } } }); In this time, if the user scrolls to the bottom of the window again, it seems a queue is made holding the occurences the user scrolled to the bottom of the window while the query was loading. Upon completing of the query, these occurences are then executed. I have a boolean statement to detect if the anonymous function is accepting more query requests but this seems to be ignored. Is there some sort of way to ignore an anonymous function temporarily and re-enable it?

But if we leave out the href attribute, the link won't behave like a link. I've see stuff like: <a href="javascript;">Go here</a> But it doesn't look right. Any other ideas?

• Getting a divs z-index to overlap a div with absolute positioning

  Does anyone know how I could get the logo at the top of my page to appear on top of the curtains. http://nuigums.tumblr.com/ The logo is within a section tag along with the rest of the content with a z-index of 2, which is required to get the footer reveal effect I want. The curtain has a z-index of 3. I tried setting the z-index of the logo div to 4 but I presume the fact that the sections styling overrides that? I would like the logo to scroll with the content of the page also. Thanks. :)

• UITableView with multiple selections

  I have a UITableView with multiple selections enabled. If I select items and scroll the list back and forth they are remembered and shown and selected (blue background). Using the didDeselectRowAtIndexPath and didSelectRowAtIndexPath I am able to keep my own array of selected items. That part works well. However, if I then use the sectionForSectionIndexTitle and jump to a letter, the selection appears to be forgotten - even indexPathForSelectedRows appears to have been reset and is now empty. My own array remembers that an item is selected and I can set the cell.selected in the cellForRowAtIndexPath but the instant I move the list it is forgotten again. Any ideas? Is this a bug, or how do you retain the selection list when jumping to a letter?
