  • Can I Call a Child Page From a Master Page?

    My problem is this I have a base page that creates content dynamically. There are buttons on my Master Page that fire events that my base page needs to know about. But the OnLoad function on my base page fires before my Button_Command function on my master page. So I either need to figure out a way to load my base page after the Button_Command function has had the chance to set a variable or I must call a function in my base page from the Button_Command function.

    hi all! With the append button i add elements to the same class. I want the append button and delete button beneath the appended elements, but when i use insertBefore, the Toggle function only toggles the buttons visibility.     I am developing an application that contains many activities and i created my own menu (i don't want to use the built in menu button) with the Sliding Drawer as the sliding drawer is at the bottom of the screen and contains my menu buttons what i need is to make that sliding drawer to appear in all my activities i tried to create an activity and set it's content view to the xml file that includes the drawer and then extends that activity in all other activities but this solution doesn't work so any suggestions ?

  • JPanel's child components paint/layout problem

    I'm having a problem that when my frame is shown (after a login dialog) the buttons are not on correct position, then in some miliseconds they go to the right position (the center of the panel with border layout). When I make a SSCCE, it works correct, but when I run my whole code I have this fast-miliseconds delay to the buttons to go to the correct place. Unfortunately, I can't post the whole code, but the method that shows the frame is: public void login(JComponent userView) { centerPanel.removeAll(); centerPanel.add(userView); centerPanel.revalidate(); centerPanel.repaint(); frame.setVisible(true); } What would cause this delay to the panel layout? But this don't answer the question, I still think Java Swing is creating new threads for make the layout behind the scenes.

    I have created an app demo app using cordova2.7 the app only contains a search box and two buttons in header and the same in the content field. When run the app in Emulator its working fine and then i tried to run it in Samsung mobile its working fine but when i tried to run it in HTC Desire S when i try to enter character to search element its dispalys some white box above the header and when i try to enter the character in the serach field that i have in the content field it does not show the keypad.Please refer the snapshot I have uploaded below from HTC Desire S

  • Can I get a WPF ListBox to inherit brushes from parent element?

    My WPF window has its foreground brush set to a brush from a resource dictionary, and I want all text in the window to have this color, so I don't touch the foreground brush in anything else. Textboxes get the color Textblocks get the color Buttons get the color Listboxes do not get the color, and so neither do their contents. Is there any way to get a Listbox to behave like the other controls in this respect? Assuming not, and that this is by design, what is the rationale?

    I have a dialog with few controls. There is a TextBox named txtControl and two Buttons Accept and Cancel. I want that once the focus is in txtControl, the focus should not go away, until I click on Accept or Cancel button. If I try to click on any other control without clicking on Accept or Cancel button, then focus should remains in txtControl. Also I don't want to disable or gay out other controls.

The window should have a Cancel and a Save functionality implemented with buttons. What is the best method for achieving this? I dont think that an OnClickListener works like that, and I have seen examples for doing this with an OnTouch event. However, I do not know how to set up button presses with and OnTouch event.

  • How to modify TaskDialog's Show() call to be blocking and return a value when closed?

    I'm using the WindowsAPICodePack's TaskDialog implementation, but it bugs me that I have to listen to click handlers on its buttons for even the more basic implementations. I'd like to convert/wrap it so that like the old MessageBox it blocks until closed and then returns a value based on what was done. Is there anything I can read for the basics on how to do this? I just have no idea where to even start, as I am admittedly not that familiar with the Win32 underpinnings.
