    Hello, Stackoverflow! I'm new to SQL. I have created a new database in SQL Server Management Studio, and am now trying to attach it to a windows forms project in Visual Studio via the built in Data Configuration Wizard. Currently, whenever I try to attach the database file, I get a permissions error: "You don't have permission to open this file. Contact file owner or administrator to obtain permission" So, simple question -- how do I modify the permissions of my database to allow this?

  • Integrating OpenID into Symfony 1.4?

    I've tried integrating sfPHPOpenIdPlugin but that hit a dead-end since it's built for Symfony 1.2 and relies on deprecated PHP functionality; I also had a go with sfGoogleLoginPlugin which did authenticate correctly but lacks extended capability to retrieve user details (+ would restrict me to Google; obviously). I'm thinking the most viable solution is to link in one of the various PHP libraries available into my model. I'm wondering if anyone else has had any success/tips with such an integration and what libraries to consider?

    Hello, We have a series of products with built in web servers each of which has a login page, a customer wants to create a web portal in which they log into once, from there they can simply click on any of the devices (external websites) and it will automatically login to that site and redirect them to the page after the login screen. The portal is using ASP.NET MVC, the external devices are Windows CE based units running embedded web servers. Can find a lot on scraping, but not much on redirection after the event.     Found two libraries Rebex (www.rebex.net) and QuikSoft (www.quiksoft.com) any comments on these based on experience or other ones I havent not found? Looking for components that will use SMTP to send a lot of emails for general email notificatins and bulk mailshots. Built in templating would be nice. Also need to receive emails from various accounts. Having the ability to validate and check bounce backs etc would be good for reporting (appreciating that this isnt 100% effective)

  • Locking down RAD Studio internal browser security.

    I use Firefox as my web browser, mostly for access to add-ins such as Flashblock and No-script. I noticed yesterday that the RAD Studio internal browser used for the Welcome Page etc has scripting and Active X etc enabled. Is there a way to disable scripting, or better still, block all access to non-local sources in the built-in browser?

  • Weird Java Math ,10 ^ 1 = 11?

    For an exercise I was writing a loop that turns a string into an integer without using the built in functions by multiplying each individual value by its numerical position. 75 would be 7*(10 ^ 1) + 5*(10 ^ 0), for example. However, for some reason (10 ^ 1) keeps coming back as 11. Is there some mistake I have made or an explanation for this?

  • Error: Cannot find .net assembly during FxCop analysis

    I'm running FxCop from MSBuild and during the analysis it throws an error stating that it could not find the System.XML assembly and that I need to specify the location using the /directory parameter, which I then did but it didn't work. Any idea what I should do? I am running it on projects built on .Net 4.0
