  • MXMLC and 64bit JRE

    Are there any workarounds to get the Flex compiler to work with a 64bit JRE? If I use an MXMLC task in an Ant buildfile in Eclipse it works fine but if I try to use MXMLC from the command line (or try the Run... command from FDT in Eclipse) it fails, telling me ... "Error loading: C:\Program Files\Java\jrrt-1.6.0\jre\bin\jrockit\jvm.dll" (this is with a 64bit JRockit runtime but that shouldn't matter).

  • googletest and EXPECT_THROW weirdness

    I have a class that has no default constructor, but the construct may throw. I was wanting to have a test like: EXPECT_THROW(MyClass(param), std::runtime_error); But the compiler, g++, complains that there is no default constructor for Myclass. However the following: EXPECT_THROW(MyClass foo(param), std::runtime_error); Works, and the test passes as expected. Why though won't googletest accept the temporary object?

  • Building DLL via Maven with mojo-native

    I can build a simple dll consisting of a source file, a header file and a definition but now I am progressing beyond a simple toy dll and working towards something more complex. The DLL I am trying to compile has 2 source files, 2 headers and the dreaded stdafx pair. To compile normally you would use /Yc to compile the pch and /Yu to use it. How do you specify that with in the constraints of mojo-native's compiler options?

  • Missing AVFoundation.framework

    Hi, AVFoundation.framework is not where the documentation says it should be. I have iPhone SDK 2.2 installed (never had previous sdk versions installed) and I can't find that folder under /System/Library/Frameworks I did find it under /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneOS2.2.sdk/System/Library/Frameworks/ folder but if I add it from that location, then the compiler can't find the header files. I tried copying the entire AVFoundation.framework folder to /System/Library/Framework, but it still can't find the header files. How can I use AVFoundation classes? Thanks, Alex

    I am trying to use AsDoc on the code of one of my projects in flash. Some of the classes that I use inside the code are "exported for actionscript" classes from my FLA file. Of course the AsDoc compiler complains that those classes are not defined anywhere. Does anyone know how to make it ignore these class types?

We can tell the Delphi compiler, whether to compile with assertions in a debug version and without assertions in a release version.     Using Flex Builder : I have created a new Actionscript Project. I want to use mx.controls.Button class in it, so I did the following : Added '-locale=en_US -source-path=locale/{locale}' to the Actionscript compiler arguments Added 'framework.swc' to the library path But now I get this error: unable to open 'locale/en_US' I looked up and I do have the following directory inside my Flex Builder 3 installation: ./sdks/3.0.0/frameworks/locale/en_US How to fix it?

  • IntellIJ editor doesn't appear

    I updated my IntellIJ install to the latest version (11.1.4) and now the Editor window doesn't appear. Double-clicking on the file, jump-to-source, nothing happens. No error message, it just doesn't appear. If I double-click on an xml layout file the preview window works, but no Editor window. Have installed and reinstalled; went back to an earlier version and it doesn't work there either. I'm at a loss. Any ideas? Update: Editor works if I create a new project.   • what does macosx-version-min imply?

    When I pass compiler flag "-mmacosx-version-min=10.5", what does it mean? I think it implies the result binary is x86, not ppc, but is it 32 bits or 64 bits? I'm compiling on snow leopard, so default output binary is 64 bits. I'm not passing -universal, it's not 32bit-64bit universal binary, I think.

    Hi everyone, I followed this tutorial http://blog.ulf-wendel.de/?p=215#hello. I tried both on Visual C++ 2008 and Visual C++ 2010. Either static or dynamic, the compiler gave me the same exact error messages: error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _get_driver_instance Has anyone experience this issue before? Update: + Additional Dependencies: mysqlcppconn.lib + Additional Include Directories: C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Connector C++ 1.0.5\include + Additional Libraries Directories: C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Connector C++ 1.0.5\lib\opt Thanks, Chan Nguyen
