For example if an option is changed from one to another, that option will remain even if the page is refreshed or changed on other pages where this radio buttons exist , and i need to make the cookie setting for this code.   • One-sided rounded buttons in Silverlight

    I want to make a collection of buttons in silverlight. They are in a collection that goes from left to right and the buttons are lined up so that they are touching on the left and right sides. Here is the rub: The collection has rounded corners but the buttons in between the end buttons in the collection do not have rounded ends. So basically, for the buttons on the far left and right side of the collection, they have to be somewhat special because they have to have one flat vertical side and one rounded side. Is this possible to do in silverlight without resorting to making a special bitmap for the end buttons?   • Open the Word Application from a button on a web page

    I'm developing a proof of concept web application: A web page with a button that opens the Word Application installed on the user's PC. I'm stuck with a C# project in Visual Studio 2008 Express (Windows XP client, LAMP server). I've followed the Writing an ActiveX Control in .NET tutorial and after some tuning it worked fine. Then I added my button for opening Word. The problem is that I can reference the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word from the project, but I'm not able to access it from the web page. The error says "That assembly does not allow partially trusted callers". I've read a lot about security in .NET, but I'm totally lost now. Disclaimer: I'm into .NET since 4 days ago. I've tried to work around this issue but I cannot see the light!!   • Having a different action for each button dynamically created in a loop

    Hi, use this website a lot but first time posting. My program creates a number of buttons depending on the number of records in a file. E.g. 5 records, 5 buttons. The buttons are being created but i'm having a problem with the action listener. If add the action listener in the loop every button does the same thing; but if I add the action listener outside the loop it just adds the action listener to last button. Any ideas? Am I missing something ?

    Hi, I;ve been trying to create a custom button in android using this tutorial - http://www.gersic.com/blog.php?id=56 It works well but it doesn't say how to change the font size or weighting. Any ideas? There was another question on here and the only answer was to use html styling but you can't change a font size in html without using css (or the deprecated font tag). There must be a better way of setting the pixel size of the font used on buttons?

  • Button Onclick event (which is in codbehind) doesn't get triggered in MVC 2

    I had an MVC 1.0 web application that was in VS 2008; I just upgraded the project to VS 2010 which automatically upgraded MVC to 2.0. I have a bunch of viewpages have codebehind files that were manually added. The project worked fine before the upgrade, but now the onclick even't don't get triggered. I.e. I have an asp:button with an onclick event that points to a method in the codebehind. When you click the button, the onclick event doesn't get triggered. In fact, when you look at the Page variable, IsPostBack is false. This is really bizarre and I'm wondering if anyone know what happened and how to fix it. I'm thinking it has something to do with the changes in MVC 2.0; but I'm not sure. Any help is really appreciated, I've been trying to figure this out for a while. (deleting the codebehinds and moving that to the controller is not really an option since there is so many pages, moving back to vs 2008 is a last resort as I want to make use of some of the VS 2010 features like performance testing.)

    I'm new to SilverLight and Mvvm-Light. I have a DataForm on my view that displays/edits a SelectedPerson property (a Person object) of my view model. I want to execute a command on my viewmodel when the user clicks the Save button but don't want to take action if the user clicks cancel.     On the iPhone, if you touch and hold your finger on an icon, it starts vibrating, then you can drag them around while the other icons move aside and rearrange dynamically. I'm trying to figure out how to do this inside an application with a grid of images or buttons. I don't need them to vibrate, but I do want the UI to allow the user to drag them with real-time dynamic reordering and then return the new position (ie, an int for accessing a mutable array). One argument would be that by using custom sections we don’t have to recompile code when we change data, but that’s a weak argument, especially if we’re using Web Sites, which get recompiled automatically whenever code changes!
