• Uninstall libgl? Program using libgl instead of Nvidia's OpenGL libraries

  I'm running Ubuntu 12.10 64-bit. I'm trying to get valve's new Linux Steam client running, but having a bit of trouble getting it to detect the right libraries or at least I think that's the issue. I installed the latest 310.19 Nvidia proprietary drivers from geforce.com. Here's the screenshot: I tried uninstalling xserver-xorg-video-nouveau thinking this was the problem but I'm still getting the same error. Any ideas what I can do for Steam to detect the right Nvidia OpenGL libraries?

• Can't mount cd/dvd r/w drive in Ubuntu 12.04

  I'm pretty new to Ubuntu and I'm having some troubles mounting my drive or getting it to detect media. When I do this: dmesg | grep "sr0" I get : [ 2.096797] sr0: scsi3-mmc drive: 24x/24x writer dvd-ram cd/rw xa/form2 cdda tray [ 2.096968] sr 5:0:0:0: Attached scsi CD-ROM sr0 when I: sudo mount /dev/sr0 /mnt/cdrom mount: no medium found on /dev/sr0 sudo mount /dev/cdrom /media/cdrom mount: no medium found on /dev/sr0 There is most certainly media in the drive. Can someone please help me understand how I can resolve this issue?

  I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick. Does anyone know where I can find a version of Zentyal for it? I heard that webmin is not available any more, and I had a problem with it, so I'm trying to change the webmin to Zentyal. The problem now is that I can only find the version for Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid). With Git, switching between branches will replace the contents of the working directory, so am I right to assume that the way we used to work just doesn't apply with Git? My guess is that I'd have a repo folder with maybe a gitignore and readme.txt, then the folders for the projects that make up the repo, and that's it.

  I'm still having problems packing my resources, after going through complicated APIs and basically just zip files which are exhausting my brain, I thought I could also pack the game with the resources visible to the human eye, in a simple folder. • screen sharing not painting properly on client

  I cannot get the screen sharing utility in ubuntu 11.10 to work properly. When I connect, I get the initial screen, but no updates. When I connect to my ubuntu box via a laptop, I can see the mouse moving, but when I click on anything, the screen does not update. I can disconnect, reconnect and then see the updated screen, but it does not automatically refresh. Is anyone else having this problem? How do I fix it?
