  • Insert HTML on Radio Label on Formtastic

    I have a form that has a radio button on it (Formtastic), and It works just fine with the :collection I'm passing. The problem is I want some part of the text to be affected by some CSS, but the :collection attribute does not let me put in HTML. However, I want it to ignore marks in the same file ... i.e i want ctrl-my-o to be ctrl-o until you hit a different file and ctrl-my-i to be ctrl-i until you hit a different file Is there somethig like this in vim?

  • IRC-Bot in Ruby: PRIVMSG sends only last word of string

    I'm on learning ruby and I took a already done IRC-Bot from the web which just connects to a given serven and not much more. Then I added some features (in my case I try to implement a voting where to eat lunch). Now these work fine so far but I don't know if the ruby script does something wrong or there is something wrong with the IRC-server. I am attempting to obtain PCI compliance for my site but the Mcafee security scan has thrown a: Potential Sensitive Persistent Cookie Sent Over a Non-Encrypted (SSL) Channel Drupal (default behavior) sets a session cookie when you simply arrive at the site. This is causing the problem. Clearly, the entire site shouldn't be under SSL; plenty of other sites set session cookies like this. What gives?

    I am passing in command line arguments to my Lisp program and they are formatted like this when they hit my main function: ("1 1 1" "dot" "2 2 2") I have a dot function and would like to call it directly from the argument, but first I must strip the " characters. I tried variations of this function: (defun remove-quotes (s) (setf (aref s 0) '"")) to no avail, Lisp complains that "" is not a member of base-char. Thanks!

    Thanks in advance of all of your help! I am currently developing a program in C# 2010 that launches PLink (Putty) to create a SSH Tunnel. I am trying to make the program able to keep track of each tunnel that is open so a user may terminate those instances that are no longer needed. I am currently using System.Diagnostics.Process.Start to run PLink (currently Putty being used). I need to determine the PID of each plink program when it is launched so a user can terminate it at will. Question is how to do that and am I using the right .Net name space or is there something better?   • Upsert - Efficient Update or Insert in VB.Net, SQL Server

    I'm trying to understand how to streamline the process of inserting a record if none exists or updating a record if it already exists. I'm not using stored procedures, although maybe that would be the most efficient way of doing this. The actual scenario in which this is necessary is saving a user preference/setting to my SettingsUser table. In MS Access I would typically pull a DAO recordset looking for the specified setting. If the recordset comes back empty then I know I need to add a new record which I can do with the same recordset object. On the other hand, if it isn't empty, I can just update the setting's value right away. In theory, this is only two database operations. What is the recommended way of doing this in .NET?
