    I have configured WordPress to display a static front page as described here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Settings_Reading_SubPanel#Reading_Settings When save changes and try to visit my front page, my browser displays the following error: "The page isn't redirecting properly. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." Disabling cookies does not remedy the situation. I'm using the theme, Constructor (http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/constructor), which I suspect may be contributing to the problem. How can I make WordPress properly display my front page?

Page.ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptBlock(typeof(Page), "videoyuGoster", sScript, true); is appending to body but js codes are always requesting some js files didn't load or some functions are below of the script. How can i append scripts that i generated dynamically to the bottom of body? Thanks for your help.

I'm using HtmlUnit to click on a HtmlElement that triggers Javascript action: currentPage = ((HtmlElement) currentPage.getByXPath("//*[contains(@onclick, 'check();')]").get(0)).click(); The element is: <a href="#" onclick="check(); return false;"> The page returned is quite similar to the page, containing that element: same URL, mostly same HTML, but there are some minor differences in the HTML and HtmlUnit doesn't save the new page. I'm using HttpAnalyzer to sniff the traffic and I see that the Webclient correctly handles JS and send the right request. The response is also correct, but when I dump the contents of the currentPage to a file, I see that the actual page didn't change. How can I fix it?

    Hi I know how to add SL page as a whole to existing ASP.net application. We have existing ASP.net page with few tabs. Each tab is a user control. We want to add another tab, which will host Silverlight content. Is it possible to add silverlight content in one of the tabs of a page? Any example links? Another way of putting up the same question : Is it possible to have an ASP.net page with top half as regular asp.net content and other half containing silverlight content? Please advise. Thanks AJ

    I'm trying to get a property (ImpersonatePersonId) from a page in global.asax but get a HttpException saying 'Request is not available in this context'. I've been searching for some documentation on where in the pipeline the request is accessible, but as far as I can see all Microsoft can produce of documentation is one-liners like "PostRequestHandlerExecute: Occurs when the ASP.NET event handler finishes execution." which really doesn't give me much... I've tried placing the call in both Pre and PostRequestHandlerExceute but with the same result. I wonder if anyone with experience in this would be so kind as to tell me where the Request object is available. My code from global asax is below. ICanImpersonate page = HttpContext.Current.Handler as ICanImpersonate; ImpersonatedUser impersonatePerson = page != null ? page.ImpersonatePersonId : null; Response.Filter = new TagRewriter(Response, new TagProcessor(Context, impersonatePerson).Process); What I want to do is rewrite some HTML based on some request parameters.

AutoPageBreak works fine if you're sending text to a page with writeHTML and multiCell at the default width of the page.   • 404 error for pages using a master page in IIS7

    Hello, I have developed my .net web app on XP using IIS6. It uses just plain old master pages, nothing fancy. No nested master page. When I deployed it to the server, which is IIS7, suddenly any page that implements a master page, will not be rendered. Gives a 404 error instead. Any ideas, about confguration that I need to specify in IIS7 that is not in IIS6? Thanks

    I would like to change the default behavior of Wordpress regarding the number of articles displayed on a same page to be the following : when displaying the home page, the 10 most recent articles should be displayed, 10 being the setting which can be changed through the admin panel (posts_per_page) when displaying the articles of a specific month (given through the URL like this : ?m=200906&order=ASC, I'd like to display on the same page all articles of this month (in other words, I don't want to have to browse through articles using previous entries or next entries. EDIT : I forgot something else I'd like to change : On the page where all articles of the specified month are displayed, I would like to display the comments for each article. Is this possible to do ? How ?

  • Why does a Non-existant page returns 302 status when using a custom 404 page in asp.net

    I have setup custom 404 page custom404.aspx that returns a 404 Not Found error correctly, however the non-existant page that was initially requested returns a 302 Found status. So when I test thispagedoesnotexist.aspx, it returns a 302 Found then the custom404.aspx loads and returns a 404 Not Found status. I want to make sure that search spiders/bots understand that the requested page does not exist and should not show up in any search results. Is this the case? Cheers

    hi guys, I have a listview which displays (eventually) an album cover of an itunes play list with the album name under it. the problem I am having is that I cannot get the album art (currently a blank square) ABOVE the album name. It always is on the side... how do I do it? I've tried adding column headers and alsorts... code to set up the listview Dim myImageList As ImageList albumList.View = View.Tile albumList.TileSize = New Size(120, 150) ' Initialize the item icons. myImageList = New ImageList() myImageList.Images.Add(Image.FromFile("c:/test.jpg")) myImageList.ImageSize = New Size(80, 80) albumList.LargeImageList = myImageList I then do a loop to display each album name which uses Dim item0 As New ListViewItem(New String() _ {Albums(i).Name}, 0) albumList.Items.Add(item0) the output is http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n122/mfacer/Screenshot2010-05-02at164815.png but as i said, I want the album name under the orange box.... any ideas??     Is there a way to speed up the population of a page with GWT's UI elements which are generated from data loaded from the datastore? Can I avoid making the unnecessary RPC call when the page is loaded? More details about the problem I am experiencing: There is a page on which I generate a table with names and buttons for a list of entities loaded from the datastore. There is an EntryPoint for the page and in its onModuleLoad() I do something like this: final FlexTable table = new FlexTable(); rpcAsyncService.getAllCandidates(new AsyncCallback<List<Candidate>>() { public void onSuccess(List<Candidate> candidates) { int row = 0; for (Candidate person : candidates) { table.setText(row, 0, person.getName()); table.setWidget(row, 1, new ToggleButton("Yes")); table.setWidget(row, 2, new ToggleButton("No")); row++; } } ... }); This works, but takes more than 30 seconds to load the page with buttons for 300 candidates. This is unacceptable. The app is running on Google App Engine and using the app engine's datastore.

    I am running weblogic 9. When I enter an incorrect URL below the application root I redirect 404 request to a customized error page. Eg. http://localhost:7001/myApp/non-existent redirects to my customised error page. Is there a way to do this for all incorrect URLs entered, not necessarily below the application root? Eg. http://localhost:7001/anything_non-existent should redirect to my customized error page, not the web-logic default one? Thanks
