  • Umbraco: Handling In Page Javascript in Uswe Controls

    I have quite a number of user controls that I need to embed in Umbraco macros. Each user control has quite a bit of in page javascript that needs loaded into the page. I have been building up the javascript with StringBuilder.Appendline then registering a startup script with code behind but this stinks and I feel there has to be a better way of going about this. Has anyone any ideas please? Thanks, B

  • sIFR load before rest of page?

    Hiya, Is it possible to have sIFR "preload" or load before the rest of the page content? At present it is the last thing to load (due to the text position) and as it's quite an obvious part of the page I get a huge mash-up of text replacement all in a quick flurry which is not very appealing. It looks like the site is having an epileptic fit. Once loaded, all is fine though :) Any work-arounds to the load-fitting? Cheers Hugh

    I list products on my homepage and on a company details page. I use the exact same HTML, but for some reason the product appears different: The productname is "Artikel 1". Here the product is displayed correctly: http://www.zorgbeurs.nl/ Notice how the green price area is right below the product. But here: http://www.zorgbeurs.nl/bedrijven/76/mymedical the green price area is all the way at the bottom of the page. Why?

  • asp.net ajax calls stop browsing of sites page

    Hi, I have an ajax web application(asp.net). some of users report the a problemt that when they work sometimes by system ( and pages who have ajax calls) their connection to server will intrupt and just a blank page they will see. they can't browse any other page on my site while they close all open browsers and reopen site.     I have to copy repeatedly data (contact info such as name, surname, telephone...) from form A (page 1 in domain x.com) to form B (page 2 in domain y.com) I have been thinking about creating a chrome extension with the help of jquery to copy the data from form A, and inject it form B... I have a feeling that this is not the best way to solve this problem... What do you think is the best way to copy and paste data from pages in different domains?

    there is a page that i need to post a password to it and then i get a file to download. the post goes to the same page address its loads again and pop up the download manager. now i want to do the same but in curl, i posted the data to the url and then its sends me the file back but i dont want my script to download the whole file i want only to get a link to download it by myself. how can i do that?

    I'm trying to convert a game I made (WindowsFormApplication) to an ASP Page. My Problem is that I have a lot "private" variables in my WindowFormApplication and those variables are important for the game. But when after I Declare all my variables (in my Page_Load), they turn null no matter what I do(click a button, refresh the page). Is there anyway to save my variables between buttons (other than Session, because I'd have to create like 6 more sessions)
