• How do I recover from pushing a gitosis.conf file with parsing errors due to line breaks?

  I have successfully set up gitosis for an Android mirror (containing multiple git repositories). While adding a new .git path following writable= in gitosis.conf I managed to insert a few line breaks. • Basic compile issue with QT4

  I've been trying to get a dead simple listing from a university textbook to compile with the newest QT SDK for Windows I downloaded last night. After struggling through the regular nonsense (no make.bat, need to manually add environment variables and so on) I am finally at the point where I can build. But only one of the two libraries seem to work. The .pro file I use is dead simple: SUBDIRS += utils \ dataobjects TEMPLATE = subdirs In each of these two subfolders I have the source for a library. While I would have expected to see that, you'll notice the library names after --out include lib in the name, so they become libutils and libdataobjects. I have tried to figure out why this is happening, to no avail. Anyone have an idea what's going on?

I was wondering how can I insert a element before the first element using xslt? <XmlFile> <!-- insert another <tag> element here --> <tag> <innerTag> </innerTag> </tag> <tag> <innerTag> </innerTag> </tag> <tag> <innerTag> </innerTag> </tag> </XmlFile> I was thinking of using a for-each loop and test the position = 0, but upon the first occurence of the for-each its already too late. This is a once-off text so I can't combine it with other xslt templates that are already inside the xsl file. Thanks.

Through Synaptic Package Manager I am have installed the mysql version: mysql-client-5.1 I wonder that how was the database password set for the mysql-client software that I installed through the above way.It would be nice if you could enlighten me on this. • Java - Problem in deploying Web Application

  I have built a Java Web Application and packed it in a .war file and tested it on my local tomcat server and it is running fine. But when I deployed it on my client's server, it is showing an error. According to the remote server (my client's server), it is not finding a tld file packed in a jar file which I had placed in WEB-INF/lib directory. But when I checked the WEB-INF/lib directory for the jar file, i found that it was there. The contents of META-INF/MANIFEST.MF is as follows: Manifest-Version: 1.0 Class-Path: I think that there is no need to explicitly mention the classpath of WEB-INF/lib directory as it is in the classpath of any web application by default. Then, why the server can't find the jar file in the lib directory when I deployed it on a remote server and why it is working when I deployed the same application on my local server. I posted a question for this at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2441254/struts-1-struts-taglib-jar-is-not-being-found-by-my-web-application but found that the problem is unusual as nobody could answer it. So my questions are as follows: Q1. Is WEB-INF/lib still remains on the classpath if I leave the classpath entry blank as shown above in the MANIFEST.MF file or I should delete the classpath entry completely from the file or I should explicitly enter Class-Path: /WEB-INF/lib as the classpath entry? Q2. I have JSP pages, Servlets and some helper classes in the web application. Jsp pages are located at the root. Servlets and helper classes are located in WEB-INF/classes folder. So Is there any problem if my helper classes are located in the WEB-INF/classes folder? Note: Please note that this question is not same as my previous question. It is a follow-up question of my previous question. Both the servers (local and remote) are tomcat servers.

• Ruby on Rails Mongrel web server stuck when MySQL service is running

  Hi, I am a Ruby on Rails newbie and already have a problem. I have started the Mongrel web server and it works fine when MySQL service isn't running. But when MySQL is on, Mongrel stucks. It ceases from serving the pages. So far, I have tested the localhost:3000 URL. When MySQL is off, it serves the page. When I click "about application's environment", I get the messasge (of course) "Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)". After starting the MySQL service and refreshing, I get no more answer and Mongrel does not serve the webpage. It gets stuck with no answer to the browser. Then I have to stop the webserver and restart it. I have installed mysql2 gem with the command gem install mysql2. I was able to create the _test and _development databases with the command line rake db:create. I have tested with MySQL root user and blank password and also tried with a superuser user I have created. No success. I confirmed the same problem with "Hello world" from the Opa tutorial compiled with both Opa stable 1.1.1 and build from sources. I suspected that the problem is due to Node.js update (Opa = 1.1.1 requires Node 0.10.* - now I am using 0.10.12, but I also tried other 0.10-s), but "Hello world" from the Node's from page works fine. I am running the app on OSX developer box and Linux Debian 7.0 server. Any suggestions what am I doing wrong? PS. I was off the business for a while. Anyone knows what happened to the Opa forum? Signing is seams not to work.

  I have two classes Software, Tag - they are related by ManyToMany. We CAN NOT create Software without putting the Tag to it. I guess it is not good test for that case - because it even do not try to SAVE data to SOFTWARE_TAG table. Of course i could do validation manually but i want implement it with hibernate, using some annotation or something. Is it possible? Or how would you do this? • How to get acts on taggable working

  I am new to ruby on rails (and programming) and this is probably a really stupid question. I am using Rails 3.2 and trying to use acts_as_taggable_on to generate tags on articles and to have those tags show on article index and show pages as a clickable links. I have tags clickable on both the article show and index pages, but the links just go back to the index page and don't sort according to the tag name. I have scoured the Internet and pieced together the code below from various sources, but I am clearly missing something. Any help is greatly appreciated, as I have exhausted my seemingly limited knowledge! Thanks. • System Error when running PyQt4's loadUi()

  Hello, I'm pretty new to Qt, Python and their combinations. I'm currently writing a QGIS plugin in python (I used QtCreator 2.1 (Qt Designer 4.7) to generate a .ui-file and am now trying to use it for a Quantum GIS plugin that's written in Python 2.5 (and running in the Quantum GIS Python 2.5 console)). I am running into trouble when loading the ui-file dynamically when the program runs the loadUi() function. What throws me off is that the error occurs outside my script. Does that mean, I'm passing something wrong into it? Where does the error come in? I add a new tag with this date to the db at the timestamp and I run delta import command. the select retrieves the line but i dont see any other sql.   Since "bug in .NET" is often not the real cause of a problem, I wonder if I'm missing something here. What I'm doing feels pretty simple. I'm iterating through the elements in a HtmlDocument called doc like this: System.Diagnostics.Debug.WriteLine("*** " + doc.Url + " ***"); foreach (HtmlElement field in doc.All) System.Diagnostics.Debug.WriteLine(string.Format("Tag = {0}, ID = {1} ", field.TagName, field.Id)); I then discovered the debug window output was this: Tag = !, ID = Tag = HTML, ID = Tag = HEAD, ID = Tag = TITLE, ID = Tag = LINK, ID = ... when the actual HTML document looks like this: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <html> <head> <title>Protocol</title> <link rel="Stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all" href="ProtocolStyle.css"> </head> <body onselectstart="return false"> <table> <!-- Misc. table elements and cell values --> </table> </body> </html> Commenting out the LINK tag solves the issue for me, and the document is completely parsed. The ProtocolStyle.css file exist on disk and is loaded properly, if that would matter. Is this a bug in .NET 3.5 SP1, or what? For being such a web-oriented framework, I find it hard to believe there would be such a major bug in it.

The only thing it does is receives incoming calls and executes a Perl script. No outgoing calls, no incoming calls to an actual phone, no phones registered with Asterisk. It seems like there should be an easy way to block all unauthorized registration attempts, but I have struggled with this for a long time. It seems like there should be a more effective way to prevent these attempts from even getting far enough to reach my Asterisk logs. Some setting I could turn on/off that doesn't allow registration attempts at all or something. Is there any way to do this? Also, am I correct in assuming that the "Registration from ..." messages are likely people attempting to get access to my Asterisk server (probably to make calls on my account)? And what's the difference between those messages and the "Sending fake auth rejection ..." messages? Further detail: I know that the "Registration from ..." lines are intruders attempting to get access to my Asterisk server. With Fail2Ban set up, these IPs are banned after 5 attempts (for some reason, one got 6 attempts, but w/e). But I have no idea what the "Sending fake auth rejection ..." messages mean or how to stop these potential intrusion attempts. As far as I can tell, they have never been successful (haven't seen any weird charges on my bills or anything). Here's what I have done: Set up hardware firewall rules as shown below. Here, xx.xx.xx.xx is the IP address of the server, yy.yy.yy.yy is the IP address of our facility, and aa.aa.aa.aa, bb.bb.bb.bb, and cc.cc.cc.cc are the IP addresses that our VoIP provider uses.
